Came to say this. Only thing to note is that Imagine Dragons claims Warriors 2014, and the new Wild Rift trailer is a cover, so it gets claimed to. But literally *everything* else from Riot is free for use, as long as you aren't charging for your videos (ads are fine) =)

Soyeon(Akali) and Miyeon(Ahri) of Idle are everything in this! I’m sad they won’t be present on the rest of the album :/ I don’t know how I feel about the constant changing of voices but I’ll remain optimistic!

@@OtherWorldm I think if they make a group all the originals should stay (including Madison and Jaira). If they want to work with other artists they should just make non group songs with those other artists and not make a rotating collab for groups like K/DA, True Damage, or Pentakill.

pretty sure they'll never replace Soyeon or Miyeon for Akali and Ahri. Although if TWICE is in it maybe they will use singers from there...but still i think those two are too iconic to the characters to replace. Imo i'd prefer if they just stuck to the original 4 from pop/stars

I'm not sure about this new MV yet, but Soyeon and Miyeon from G-idle did their own mocap in the first song "Popstars". They had to fly to LA and spent some time at Riot's studios to do the mocap session, so not sure if it was possible for "More" with Covid happening. Mocap was not used in Pop/Stars MV, only for the AR live performance.

The singers aren't actually the Voice Actors, it's also why they have rotating singers because they don't necessarily have to be the VA's. The VA's have made small cameos though. They got them to voice the characters for their explanation on the songs in the EP and I think Eve's VA does the laughing in Villain

As an animator, I would probably say they probably did Motion capture-- and I say probably because I did hear that they didn't do that last time, but I don't know how true that is. Some of the animations are a little bit off, which is actually done on purpose and is a way to show that not everyone is in synch and gives it a more 'human' feel (you can test this yourself by watching the dancing at .25 speed). Special effects aka lighting, smoke, glass reflections, shading, etc. Are very practical in this situation (however I'm a character animator, not a special effects animator, so I don't know as much). Obviously, the background is not real at all, but they definitely got their references and styles from other videos, mostly keeping with the so-called "Calling Card" of their *holographic diamonds* style. Most of the work, in this case, goes to the special effects artists, Music Producers, and the Film directors, but honestly, Riot produces great content anyways haha

two years too late, but just incase you see this, you were asking about behind the scenes videos and wanting to watch them, Riot have a video called 10 months 10 minutes about the worlds prep and behind the scenes and it's pretty amazing to see, if you want to check that one out.
The character animation is gonna be a blend of things. They will do Mo-Cap for timing and overall body movement. They will also take footage during the mocap for the animators to use as reference. And third the animators will clean up the mocap and make animation adjustments to add in the anticipation, pushing animation curves, facial animation, etc. If the animation ever looks "too clean" its normally because thats the exact motion by the motion capture that didnt really get much of an animation pass to push the animation. (The animation also doesnt have proper motion blur which makes the animation look kind of weird)
U asked about MOCAP so yeah i think it was recorded in studio on vicon system (i used to work for 6 years on this system) and postprocessed later and yes it is possible to get this smooth movement, just a lot hours of work and good system calibration before session.
There is a behind the scenes for Pop/Stars thats on GIDLES YT page and yes they did motion tracking for that video. That took place in LA so they might not have done it with the actual singers but could have used dancers.

Sera is not a member of k/da...riot just confirmed it many Times even in the comic you can see clearly she was invited just to do a collab with k/da since the champion was in china that's it ! They did a lot of collab after this song with k/da and sera was not with them even if you research it you will see that k/da is a fictional group consist from a 4 members and sera is one of the collaboration
The singers do not voice the characters in game, outside of the one True Damage Ekko skin.

Just like how Apple is a marketing company that makes phone, Riot is a media company that makes games. It makes them better at almost everything. If eSports didn't make so much money they could easily make a AAA title like Cyberpunk 2077 degrees better than CDProjektRed or Blizzard or any other major studio.

The only videos RIOT claims are those using the song " Warriors " since Imagine Dragons have shown themselves not to live reactions too much. But otherwise, they are very fine with free advertising, they even reached out to a lot of people for that.

It is motion capture, its just motion capture on one dancer alone. then its copy and pasted to the 3 other digital characters, which is why they all dance in perfect sync.
