Really cool mixer, with everything I’ve changed over the years I’ve always kept my mothers Waring hand mixer. It Has to be about 60 years old and still works perfectly the only thing that was changed was the plug the cord is still the original but the the electric plug was changed.
This kitchen with all the vintage appliances is so great. I love it. That stove just overwhelms me with happiness. Oh and that Westinghouse 50's washer I can't even explain the thrill chills.
So classic to see the beaters set in the sink at the drain. I have great memories of watching my grandmother bake and seeing that. Love the kitchen man, that is the life I want lol
I love your kitchen with the cool stove and GE fridge with the swing out shelves. I have purchased a few of those GE mixers at thrift stores. I found you through your Packard videos. Love to see you and your Dad working on a project. Keep up the good work
Reminds me of the mixer I bought at a yard sale years back. I still have it. IT's a Betty Crocker brand with a timer built onto it and original white mixing bowls.
My Mixer looks similar. It’s green with the jade bowl. Mine is from 1932. Still works like new. The only downside to the real old ones like these is you have to turn the bowl yourself.
It’s actually from the 50s and has a multitude of abilities. You can flip the motor unit upside down and attach a juicer, as well as many other attachments. You can detach the motor from the stand and use it as a hand mixer. It was produced, with changes to the case design for about 10 years, give or take, from about 1950 through 1960.
Glad you like your GE triple whip mixer. Yes it is cool that it lights up what is mixing in the bowl. The slowest speed is way too fast, comparable to medium of other vintage mixers I have used. If you were use this mixer in making something challenging like cookies, you have a motor that races and stalls. Your hand will be needed to slow the bowl rotation and need to scrape the bowl constantly to insure through mixings. The juicer has no strainer. There were other attachments to grate cheese, slice or shred and grind that required a power unit to reduce the motor speed and increase the power to drive the attachments. GE has tried again to produce a new stand mixer using a planetary platform. Sunbeam has recently quit making MixMasters.
Super cool video man. I just bought one of these mixers. Don't the older milk colored bowls have rather high lead content? I'm going SS on mine, if I can find something that will work w/ the 3 beaters. Do you happen to know anything over there as far as the original bowls?

I see you both like cool 1930's-1950's American made collectibles. Love the old stove, and refrigerator. Very neat.

on the top there was a juicer attachment, very cool
I still have my kenwood mixer (uk manufacturer) from the 1970s that was my mum's works fine.
Those look great! I wish I could say the same about my pancakes, yet I somehow manage to screw up the simplest recipes half of the time

I know you wanted to demo the cool mixer ( my Moms best friend had one, my mom had a Mixmaster. But pancakes need to have some lumps for best results
They are the original bowls-I have had that mixer for nearly 25 years
Nice mixer doesn’t weight a ton like the new kitchen aid mixer.
You on instagram
Wow never seen a 3 beater in line stand mixer , so the 3 beaters are only used with the bigger bowl ?
This inspired me to fix up my nanas sunbeam mixer from the 70s? 80s?
I love this mixer! I have showed my whole family this amazing machine! Is it American made? Where can I buy one!

I also like boysenberry syrup
Can’t believe they already had that in the 30s. Maybe only in america. I guess
I'm pretty sure mixtures have downgraded considering they become heavier and bulkier with less features over the years
Love the video though keep up the amazing work
I appreciate you
