If you didn't already know, the phrase 'Thursday's Child' comes from an English nursery rhyme - I have so many of those in my head, and it's finally useful to share haha. It's a little verse or 'fortune-telling song' about the days people are born on:
'Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
And the child that's born on the Sabbath day
is bonny and blithe and good and gay.'*
For extra reference, the Sabbath day is generally the traditional religious day of rest - Sunday (also where the word 'sabbatical' comes from I think!). Gay is used in the older definition the word came from meaning simple gaeity, i.e. happy and lively. And 'fair of face' means fair in the general sense of good - so good-looking!
I think there's other versions too, but the one I know matches with TXT's song. It made me really happy to see them reach for traditional rhymes as a reference, and I love what they turned the phrase into.

With songs I normally know whether I like them or not afters the first 30 seconds but with this song by TXT I knew as soong as the beat started I'd love it and i do.
The beat is amazinly good and the singing/rapping is some of the best where as the MV seems dark but it really fits well with the lyrics and talking about the lyrics they are just so powerful and some to which I can relate too..
This comeback was AMAZING. I love this song. I love the entire album. It's so good. I've listened to it at least 10 times since it dropped & still can't pick a favorite song. 💙💙💙💙💙
