I also never believed the 4-star curse stuff people talk about for a long time in Genshin, before HSR even came out, because I had insane 4-star luck (still mostly do, I have every 4 star as F2P), but HSR has had some rough moments for me with it. BUT NOTHING LIKE THIS WTFFFFF honestly they gotta add SOME kind of pity for it, at least for new characters, what happened to Molly here shouldn't be possible.
That was me as well with Yanfei , love her when she first show up and wanted to get her as soon as possible. In the end, i gotten zhongli and not a single copy of her and i am out of stones. I did eventually pulled her in standard banner though.
that theres no guarantee on 4 stars makes trying to pull for a specific one have a chance to be very easily difficult. i didnt have that problem with getting moze thankfully but like genuinely there is probably a chance of pulling a shit ton and not getting the 4 star you want. it'd be like a low chance but there's nothing in the game stopping it from happening so
To be honest, pulling Moze was so stressfull for no reason. I lost the first 50/50 to Bailu, then pulled Feixiao, got Luka to E6, Asta to E5 and in all of those pulls (even more than the ones I listed because of the lightcones), I pulled Moze twice before I gave up xD
I feel bad for Molly but this makes for godlike content ! My Worst 4 star experience was Gallagher,only got him to E2 while I was going for Firefly E2. I wanted E4 Gallagher, at least I got him to E2.
