Nicky Romero now breathes a fresh lease of life into what was one of the flagship releases on his Protocol Records imprint in 2014, as he unveils the captivating official music video for ‘Let Me Feel' his collaboration with Vicetone featuring When We Are Wild.
Directed by critically acclaimed film maker Peter Huang, this emotive piece of videography follows the story of a father’s struggle to pay off the medical bills for his sick daughter. Emotionally and spiritually in sync, this short movie captures their agonizing uphill battle as both father and daughter fight with everything they’ve got to overcome their excruciating hardship.

This track is my absolute time machine. It always transfers me back to the snowy days of the final quarter of 2015, I was 13 at that time. I was mad crazy over EDM, and a girl... My first love and first excitement of feeling it layered with my EDM discoveries and obsession paints a rose-tinted and heart-warming as much as heart-wrenching picture of nostalgia in my head every time I listen to Let Me Feel.

EXPLANATION:
The man's daughter is very sick. He doesn't have enough money to pay for his daughter's treatments. The only way he is able to pay is to make the money in the fights. He fights the first man, and either wins or lasts the time, and he get some money. The money is clearly not enough to pay for his daughter's bills, so he is challenging the dude to fight. The dude sends his hulk friend to fight him, and they fight. He starts off decent, but the hulk man is able to land some heavy hits on him. As he is getting whooped, his daughter's condition is dropping dramatically. She dies. The man is beat to death. He is reunited with his daughter in heaven/afterlife (depicted as the sea).

The song is a work of art, no doubt, but the music video also deserves recognition. The scenes transitioning back and forth symbolizes the connection between the lives of the father and his daughter. Their hearts are literally connected, one cannot live without the other. The emotions are so powerfully conveyed.
