- On my new account one of the lines I started grinding was british CVs because EAGLE ofc. I am suuuuuper far away from Eagle and God knows if I will ever have enough credits to afford it but it feels good to know I am on the way there.

I was once called a cheat for torping a DD in his smoke. His rationale was...how did I know he was in it without using cheats? Because torps load so slowly, why would waste it sending it into a T5 DD's smoke. He then proceeded to harrass me after the game in messages...it took me 20 minutes of explaining how bad of an idea sitting in your smoke without hydro is. He told me his hydro was on cooldown at the time...3 minutes into the game. I asked him "why? 3 minutes into the game you would not have had a reason to use it until you got to the caps." He told me (brace yourself) he used it at the start so he could navigate to the caps without eating a stray torp.

i have been in games where players use thier hydro, radar and dfa as leaving the spawn point.
That's when I play a DD I never sit in my smoke too long even with hydro on. You never know a radar cruiser is nearby or a lucky CV drop that depleted half of your HP or the worst a sub appear out of nowhere and shotgun you. Also, I don't rush into caps like a maniac and get myself killed in the first 5 minutes.
They always say that bc they’re morons who use the same tactics. Plus dude if ur in smoke DONT STAY STILL AND SHOOT IN THE SAME SPOT!!! It’s usually easy to calculate where it’s coming from or where they’re at like that. Sometimes u can also just make an estimate of where they’ll be, lucky guess, etc….however, people’s logic r ur cheating!! 😂😂😂 crying bc they make one stupid move or they just straight up fuck up! -.-

this was my arguement when the CV rework came out.. in a 1vs 1 scenario, the CV is untouchable.. and its grossly unfair.. and its still the same today!

Gone are the days where a CV COULD BE EVERYWHERE. .one of the things I loved about the RTS style was I could send my fighters off to protect my team on 1 flank while making a strike on the other side. Granted that system did need some reworking, bring it more into balance, torps could have done less dmg over all, I think it was Hakuryu planes had the same Torp dmg as the Tier 9 Japanese DD. like some of the things they did with the current system they could have put in the old system, cos honestly the old system felt more fun to me.
Granted everyone has different opinions. But the current system is kinda crap in comparison to the old system in my opinion. I feel a better option would have been something like half and half.

Nice game flambass though I understand. At the end there that’s usually how it goes. As a cv main I get reported all the time. Usually when I play my eagle to get reported by my own team/enemy. Straight up messed but that’s wows for you! Not to mention they’ll always call u useless, unhelpful, etc..if u let them die or don’t do what they want u to do. The enemy will always shit on u bc u killed them, so that shouldn’t be news to u at all. I’ve already been reported 23 times in one game. 😂😂😂😂😂 two teams in one! Lol

why does he randomly drop bombs/torps where no ships are?
If you attack a high AA ship and know you can only do 1 drop then you send back additional planes. This saves your planes, lets say you got 2x4 planes, and want to do a drop on a high AA ship you send back 2x2, then you keep 2x2 for the strike and then you lose 4 planes. If you do 2x4 on the target you just lost 8 planes. It's math.
I tried to play the game again but I just can't deal with the toxicity

The ones on his team are right. If the enemy players were competent he would have lost his team the game. It's that simple. The enemy cv got stuck because going forward there was only 1 ally left , he should have stuck with the fleet. Have more AA cover.
You can't just attack CVs with CV if the enemy CV player is even half descent. Sorry but that just does not work. No top 10 player in CVs would be taken out like this. And would laugh his ass off for Flambass trying this.

Hmm, well, my philosophy when playing CV is help my team take out the opposing CV. As far as, "but but but you should be spotting," there was a time when CVs weren't in the game and players managed to spot/play/win without them. DDs still exist. Subs now exist. Getting rid of the opposing CV should always be a priority unless it truly takes players away from objectives.
I'll take the opposition and the, "well I never want you on my team" comments. If you can counter the opposing CV and eliminate it at the beginning, it simplifies the game drastically.
That is IF. Fight against a descent CV player and find out that ain't an easy feat. And there are plenty of ways to neutralize the enemy CV. On most my CV's that I play frequently I got 60/70% win rate. And that is not due to going after enemy CV's which is a pointless exercise once you go t8+.
A pretty common error that exists is that of map size, this map makes it pretty easy to hit the enemy CV fast. But many maps are much larger, and you will waste a lot of time flying. Meanwhile your team is without you. And the enemy CV might actually...be good. And wipes the enemy DD's off the map. Suddenly you are down 2 DD's and the enemy CV is still on half or more health. While he dodges most your attacks. You just lost your team the game.
@@JH-wd6dp Top down it's like this, Spot, take out enemy DDs (by any means necessary) and then enemy CV. You are free to argue about it. But that is what you should always do. If you do not look for the enemy DDs then you seriously hamper your team. And possibly cost your team the game. DD's are much closer and more deadly than any other ship. Mainly because it is the spot for the team "without CV/Sub counting obviously". But if you as a CV player succeed in getting the enemy DDs killed, or doing it yourself, much better then you got more eyes watching the line than just yours. And with the CV rework your spotting is limited to only your active squad, besides AA on your planes that is.

Classic world of warships game. Team calling you shit and enemy calling you too good so you're a cheater. I play DD and this always happens. My team blames me for not taking care of absolutely everything and the enemy reports me for being too good. Destroyers will never not be the most oppressed class.
That's why I play them!

The cheat calling can be forgiven. Most of the time it's just people (possibly in their early teens) not understanding how the game works because they are genuinely new.

The playerbase is just stupid for a big part. No difficult explanation needed. You see them playing like shit and when they die, you are the cause for their inability...

Even the 'cheats' don't help you. The onlu good side this game has is that you don't have to worry about cheats
even cheats won't necessarily help you get good scores
There are plenty of cheats in WoWS however if you can't master how to cheat against the RNG God, it is all gonna be somewhat useless to you. That is the only good aspect of RNG in WG games

I got chat banned in WoWs.
In T9 ranked we had a moron in a Dmitry Donskoy who drove straight out to the edge of the map and border and border-humped the whole match, firing on cooldown at any enemy he could at maximum possible range. He only turned in when he reached the A1 map corner. We won, but not thanks to him. I had a decent game in my Jean Bart and got two kills.
Needless to say, the other players and I gave him some correction.
The very next ranked game he spawned on the OTHER team, and did the SAME SHIT! I told the other team that he was going to drive all the way to the map corner before the match and he did, they gave him some constructive criticism as well, and then I was chat banned for referring to him as A1 because he drove his radar cruiser to A1.
I case you are wondering: The Sub player that was raging is a 45% WR dude with his highest amount of games in the Balao

CVs are the most detrimental to your team SO CVs should 1st take out the enemy CV.

The sub was part of a group of four going after a BB with about 15 KM surface detection. What was Flambass supposed to be scouting for, especially with that sub so close he couldn't miss seeing the BB? Was sub player just lonely and wanted company?
Typical wows animal behaviour. Yesterday I picked an Emilio for fun, spawned on Two Brothers. Sadly there were a lot of radars and it was just a bad idea to have some fun in the middle. We also had a Tromp in our team, who pushed in too agressively at the start and Vampire II smashed him to bits, in the first 3 minutes, guess what, he started blaming us, although we were playing the objective. I simply replied, "Your fault honestly", this simple line made him lose his shit completely, he became a butthurt kid, splashing vulgarisms on my person the whole match and telling the enemy my location every few seconds. Truly a grown up man. I was fortunate that a CC was in our team, so I got stood up for. I had so much fun that day, 9/10 matches we're a blast, it was so strange, but this one match... An utterly disgusting experience. Somehow I took it quite well, thanked the CC for the support, blocked that guy's messages, so I could focus and then after the match wrote him an encouraging message to grow up and become a better man, because he was acting like an entitled little prick. Funnily enough, that guy had 55k random battles with 45% winrate, in other words a total whale.
This is why i agree with PQ. Team chat is fundamentally pointless unless its to shit talk. I rarely see actual teamplay being used in the chat. When i try to use it for teamplay noone cares to listen or work with me.this game is best in dosages, play modern warships if you want a better ship gaming experience.

This vid reminds me of why I don't play this game anymore. I'm decent in DD's and Cruisers. Pretty darn good in BB's (at least when I did still play would probably suck now as things have shifted so much) But I royally suck in CV's for whatever reason. The old RTS style I just couldn't keep enough balls in the air at once and the current I just couldn't get the hang of flack dodging.
Having been under more than one CV players attention and feeling absolutely helpless started turning more and more matches into nothing but a chore to be endured unless we had the better CV and then it was a race to do enough damage to cover the rounds costs.
