Thank you! I just got a 256GB SanDisk Extreme MicroSD card for this phone and I was able to transfer all of my games to the Card. I will never have to worry about running out of space on my Internal Storage ever again(Until I run out of pass 200GB).

Good to see that apps can be moved to the SD card, definitely going to get an SD card now! 32 GB of base internal storage is a bit too low for me, l need more.

Yeah i've been trying to find a reliable way to transfer files but i havent been able to find anyway of doing that. Even when i try the developer force move option the option doesnt even appear for that either. I see other people open their phones are able to move apps no problem. I even doubled checked the sd card if its the right type and it is correct it is a type 3 micro sd card so i cant even anymore
There's filemount apk but you need a root on your phone.
How to direct install to sd card from playstore on samsung a01?
@@lordjaphethlabastida7730 you cant unless you root your phone...after that you have to get a special root file manager that installs it to the sdhc card after youve got it from the playstore, given there will be bugs and depending on the app it will be much slower.

Use the device maintenance app. It cleans clears and stops background apps
So I've done exactly what you have done to move the apps but why dont they show on sd card after it says transfer is complete.

Hello Paul, what do you think is the best way to uninstall and takeout the SD card from the moto e4 ? because you can't take it out because the battery is in the way unless you remove the battery and that will shut the phone down ?
Hello paul i have samsung A20 after i transfer my apps to sd card it always crashes... it says
Messenger keeps stopping
But my picture and videos arw ok just my apps
Now i transfer it back to internal just to make it work
I have done this yet for eg Amazon app is taking up ~1.2GB of internal 32GB space. I move it to SD card and when you look at the storage space for on the phone its gone down only about 0.2GB and the SD card doesn't appear to havd increased in storage by 1.2GB either. Also the SD storage screen only has videos and pictures showing etc but unlike for the phone storage it shows a section for apps. Is this because old SD cards are not compatible to have apps saved to them?

galaxy a10e is full of photos. I bought huge sd card but, no matter what I do I can not transfer any of these photos to the new card. I can not make an album on the sd card (i can make folders) when i pick a few photos and hit move to album it tells me I need to delete items to make space to do so..and the sd card does not show as an option. I did get the camera to start putting photos on the card but, that folder is called dcim and I cant make albums inside of it..
The whole point of the card was to free up the internal storage and thec"smart" phone will have none of that
Any thoughts should you have a sec would be appreciated

What if your settings HAVE no 'storage location' option, as on MY Samsung Galaxy A10e?! I suspect I was short-changed as there are other features that should be on mine that aren't, like the 'scanning' option.

There should be a slot on the tray to fit both a SIM card and a micro SD card.

I think you can enable developer options to move more apps to SD card I was able to move 99% of my apps but the problem I encountered is after the app updated they were reinstalled to the phone and not the SD card. So I found my self every so often having to redo the app moving Lol

@@thegamercls8983 click on build number under settings 7 times then your phone should say you've unlocked developer options. Go to developer options in the settings after you have done this should be at the bottom of the settings.

I have an issue. I transferred the apps over that I could, it said they transferred but the storage us still being g taken up Internal and not the SD card. How do I fix that?
For people struggling like me, you really have to wiggle and work the Micro SD card into the phone. It doesn’t fit in as flush as putting in the SIM card.
(I’m on a galaxy A50 phone)
