@@HorseRacingLegends Yep here in the USA he mainly rode on the Kentucky circuit in the summer and California in the winter. You can see in the Royal Ascot race he was definitely taller than average. I think by 1987 or 1988 he had stopped riding entirely and started out as a regular steward before becoming state steward. He runs a tight ship. In CA, the Stewards have to supply the race caller with very specific info when there is an inquiry. They do a great job.
When CR beat my near all time fav Oh So Sharp I was gutted and was the beginning of my dislike of the big cart horse 😆… doesn’t change the fact he was a talented multi distance grp1 winner .. but I’m an unforgiving , emotional Fkr .. 😳 👍🏴
