Kelly you out did yourself. I really like it. It was very informative and a little comical. I gather your camera man was learning on a new camera and I actually had a howl watching. It makes you human and down to earth ,I like that! Have a blessed night. I will stay tuned for your next video! I enjoy
i wanted to let you know that I love all of your tutorials. For the past several months I have found that you are so detail oriented and everything that I have done from your tutorials have come out just simply beautiful. Thank You for the taking the time to do this for all of us to watch. The time that you take for each and everyone of your tutorial show that you really enjoy what you are doing.
+gabi Concepcion Gabi- Thank you so much for taking time to send along such a nice message. I'm glad you're finding my tutorials helpful and are creating beautiful things. Comments like yours absolutely make my day! Blessings to you! -Kelly
+Sandy Boyd Thank you for watching and the compliment. I know that video is terrible quality. It was one of our first tries. My husband kindly volunteers to run the camera for me (which this was a terrible camera to use, as I explained in the comments). Instead of taking down the video because of the zooming and noise- I thought the information was really good in spite of this. I hope you fought through the bad quality and got some useful information. :) Blessings to you! -Kelly
Alfreda- That is so nice of your to say- especially in light of the quality of this video!! It was our first and I get so much criticism usually from people who watch it. I'm so happy you were able to take the good information from it even though it was delivered in a less than stellar way. You blessed me today. -Kelly
Hello-This is the best video I have seen demonstrating how to make one of these wreaths. especially loved how you showed us about adding the ribbons. My daughter made one and added lights to it; it was beautiful. Planning on making these for Christmas gifts this year. Can't wait to watch more of your tutorials.
+Rachele Kelly Rachele- Thank you so, so much for watching and for the encouraging words! I know the video quality on this particular video makes it frustrating to watch, I'm glad you stuck it out and got some helpful information out of it. I'm thrilled you and your daughter are taking these basic tips and creating beautiful wreaths for yourselves and to share. It really is the purpose behind producing these videos- to maybe inspire someone else's creativity. Blessings to you and your family as we enter the holiday season! -Kelly
+Gloria Machado Gloria- Thank you so much for watching and for taking a moment to leave a lovely comment. I hope you found some useful and helpful information. Blessings to you! -Kelly
This tutorial and the cut and tie deco mesh with the work wreath are awesome! I've been wanting to try this style after learning the burlap style. Look forward to starting some Christmas wreaths. Thanks Kelly from a fellow Texas gal!
+Alicia Braswell Alicia- Thanks so much for the kind words! It's always great to hear from fellow Texas girls! I hope you're staying dry where you are- whew... we're about to wash away. I'm planning another Christmas wreath tutorial in the next couple of weeks. I've been overwhelmed with fall wreath orders but am ready to move on to the fun that Christmas wreaths bring. Thanks again for watching and taking time to comment. I LOVE hearing from people who find the tutorials helpful. Blessings to you! -Kelly
+Jonie Isenberg Jonie- I'm hopeful you did get some useful information in spite of the difficulty with th camera movement. My husband - who is a sales executive, graciously films for me and tries to be sure he's getting the shots that are the most helpful, with the most detail. The fact that we are just working from our house with at home equipment sometimes is very noticeable, sadly. We try to do better with each video. Thank you so much for watching. Blessings, Kelly
Thank you for responding and I did get information from your video. I have wanted to make a wreath. I make greeting cards with the Anna Griffin line of products, so I'm pretty busy. I hope to try making this wreath soon.
An awesome tutorial. Your camera didn't bother me in the least.... I loved it. The first one I have ever watched. Ran to Hobby Lobby and bought the stuff to make one. Hope it turns out as pretty as yours. God Bless,
+Lois Milner Lois- Thank you for giving me a reason to smile this morning! I'm so glad you checked out my video and found some helpful tips. I hope your wreath turns out beautifully! Happy Thanksgiving- I hope it's blessed. -Kelly
Faircloth- You are so sweet. I always cringe when I see this video!! It's was technically so awful. But I'm glad you still enjoyed it and hopefully got good information. Thank you for stopping by to leave some encouragement. Blessings- Kelly
Excellent job of zooming in!! You did a great job and not such an easy task to do a video I am sure!! Happy Meshing...love the results. Ive made them before but look to refresh myself for new techniques!! Happy Holidays and Blessings Abound!
+phyllis Rosen Phyllis- You totally just made my morning! I take a LOT of criticism for that video lol. It was the first we attempted and so we were just winging it. And I do the same thing- I'm always looking for others' take on wreath ideas. I just love wreaths in general- a door is naked without one. :) (although I haven't made one for myself this year as of yet). If you'd like to see other wreaths I've done- check out my gallery www.underatexassky.com/wreath-photo-gallery/ Thanks so much for watching and for the nice compliment. I hope you have a most wonderful holiday season. Blessings to you! -Kelly
Gretchen- Hi! I'm so glad you found the tutorial helpful. Be sure to check out all of my other video tutorials- I cover a ton of ground and every style wreath you can think of. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Blessings! -Kelly
I just saw this and thank you for it. I love your videos because you are so meticulous and I love that. I'm very picky and strive for perfection. I buy from Craft outlet but I never consider the premium or deluxe. The mesh I got was like sandpaper and very hard to manipulate. I think I'm going to have to sell them on Craiglist and start fresh. I know you sell your wreaths, but please don't stop doing tutorials. Especially for non-creative people like myself :)
January- I always love to hear from you! And yes, there is such variation on the types of mesh. The premium and deluxe seem to be easier to manipulate and also seem to ravel less. I rarely use any other type of mesh because of this. I just always want to try to have such good coverage that you cannot see the wreath form through the mesh. Of course you can help keep this from happening by using lots of ribbon. And no worries, I'm going to continue to share tips and techniques on my channel! I love sharing and I always love hearing that people are learning new things from me. Blessings to you!! Kelly
So helpful! Thank you for this! Also, I thought your husband zooming in and out + the noise was actually quite hilarious. Something I imagine would happen on my first video.
Michaela- Thank you so much!! Your comment made me giggle, and I even read it out loud to my family who is visiting for the holidays. I appreciate your watching and for the nice encouragement! I hope your holiday season is filled with blessings! -Kelly
Savannah- You are so sweet! This was the first wreath tutorial I ever did and I know the quality is so bad! I always hope the information is helpful though. I just got the biggest smile when I read your comment because so many times I get huge criticism on how bad the video is. Thank you for getting it! I have tons more videos with lots of different styles on my channel. All are better quality. Blessings! -Kelly
This is very pretty! Thanks for zooming in the camera it help me as a beginner to see how things are put together. I like how you explain the step by step. Heep these videos coming.
Carla- Thank you so much! This was the very first video I ever shot and it's sooo terrible! I'm happy you were able to stick with it. I appreciate the lovely compliment. Blessings! Kelly
Also where do you get your wire frame with the large ties. Mine looks like pipe cleaners. Also, do you hide the green ties just leave them straight up. Sorry for all the questions.
Deirdre- LOL! Girl- this is just terrible quality! It was our first attempt. I hope you check out the other videos on my channel. The others are infinitely more enjoyable. I know this awful video quality tutorial has great information if you can fight through it. Thanks for giving me a giggle. Blessings- Kelly
Very pretty! I love what you have created. Personally, I don't think your camera man needed to zoom in on every little thing... I was getting a little seasick! lol I love the wreath though!!
Great Job, Love it! Only problem is the camera person. You can hear the camera zooming in and out and the focusing was off sometimes. This was disruptive, but I wanted to see the end result. So watching this video was a little bit stressful. I just love the wreath and thanks for sharing, because you are very informative.
Thank you for your feedback. This video is the first video I ever made. You'll notice in the description, I mention the problem with the camera and explain that I am aware the quality of filming is hard to watch. My sweet husband, who is an account executive by trade, kindly films for me. We've had a learning curve and have made many videos that are of a much better quality since that initial video. I hope you will watch some others and find them easier to view. Thanks again for watching.
Yes- It's the awesome part of these wreaths is that the ties are already attached and can be incorporated into your wreath. Thanks so much for watching! Blessings- Kelly
+karyn harding Karyn- Thank you so much for watching and for taking time to send such a nice comment! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos- I hope you're trying some new things. Blessings to you! -Kelly
+skrobnsn Thank you so much for watching and the nice compliment! I do let the green twists show- they look like evergreen and so work perfectly with a Christmas themed wreath. I try to keep lots of colors of wreath bases on hand so I can incorporate the twists into the wreath instead of having to camouflage the them. I usually have each twist pretty full of ribbon and such... I think trimming them might be problematic. I hope your wreath turns out beautifully! Blessings- Kelly
Thank you so much for the awesome tutorial! They're all so beautiful! But I do have a quick question. Do you ever trim off the excess wire? So that the green doesn't show through the red and white?
+Morgan Helterbridle (Stamper) Morgan- Thank you so much for watching and for the kind words. I usually purchase my wreath forms from craft outlet.com. The forms come in a huge variety of colored twists that are fairly easy to work into the design but if they look awkward you can try to twist them out of the way. I've also just covered them with embellishments but I think you could use a strong pair of wire cutters to trim them as well. I prefer the fluffier twists as opposed to the pencil type- they just seem prettier to me. Thanks again for watching- I hope y'all have a blessed holiday season. Blessings to you- Kelly
Your video's are very good and explain very clearly each step. The only problem is your video person does way to much zooming it goes out of focus and makes you dizzy. I have been making wreaths for a few years and have watch many videos and there is no need to zoom that much.
Linda- Thank you for your feedback.
Kelly K I have watched a few more of you video and they are much better. I really like the way you explain step by step for crafters that are just starting.
+Christine Emrick Christine- Thanks so much for watching. Actually there's not a reason. It works either way- I just start on the outer ring because it feels more comfortable to me- probably out of habit. Blessings! -Kelly
Kammy- Thanks so much for watching. This video is the first we ever made and there are so many things about it I wish I could change. I appreciate you sticking with it. I have 17 other videos with tutorials for all styles of wreaths. They are not perfect, but they're all better than this one! Blessings! -Kelly
Terri- I order the majority of my supplies from craftoutlet.com. They have everything from basic to premium mesh at good prices. I also purchase my wreath forms from them. I buy the 15" (24" when the mesh is on it) "work form" style that has the fluffier twists. The fluffy ones just blend into the wreath without having to worry about hiding them. You can buy all of the wreath forms in lots of different colors. I hope this helps. Merry Christmas! Kelly
+1caramella Caramella- I'm sad too... I wish I knew of a European source for supplies for you! Or someone who'd ship internationally.... Maybe I should just move to the south of Italy and become a supplier... :) Of course I'd have to convince my hubby and kids to pack up and move with me..... I'm surprised there's not Amazon.com type source in Europe. Hopefully you can find a craft supplier on your side of the world. Blessings to you! -Kelly
+Marilyn Webb Reed Marilyn- I always try to make my wreaths affordable (mostly because this isn't my principle business). I generally sell mine from $60-$75 depending on how much I spent for materials plus how long it took to complete it. I do have a business so I have to charge tax and then if I'm shipping the wreath, I also charge the shipping (which can vary wildly depending on the shipping zone). But my base price is generally the price point I mentioned. Good luck and thanks so much for watching! Blessings to you! -Kelly
I charge 40 to 45 depending on the size!! I am getting ready to make a large one and it will be around 60 .. where do you get you mesh rolls ... I can't seem to find any around here?
Marilyn- I generally order my mesh from craftoutlet.com. I try to stay with the deluxe or premium mesh for a fuller coverage. If I go with a lower weave, I add lots of ruffles and ribbons for coverage. Craftoutlet.com usually gets orders to me in 2 -3 days and it's free shipping for orders over $69. I'm not affiliated with them in any way- I just find they have good quality supplies! :) (I don't love their wreath forms, however. I get mine from a wholesaler who only sells to businesses). My wreaths generally sell for $60-75- this is for 25" wreaths and bigger. I hope this helps! Blessings- Kelly
LOL .. Tell your photographer/videographer to STOP .. zooming in and out with that camera .. you can't see what you are doing and the noise is nerve racking ...
Em- I'm sure that I have- I truly don't have a reason that I start from the outside ring. I just usually do. Thinking about it, it may well be easier for sure.
Beauty Yes- the ties are attached to the wreath. It makes it so much easier than having to attach pipe cleaners yourself! Michaels and Hobby Lobby have the work wreaths with the twists for sure and a number of places online do as well.
I thought your video was great! How do you know you are purchasing a better quality mesh as opposed to the cheaper kind? Im shopping on craftoutlet.com. Am I rarely safe with whatever I choose from there?
Carolee- Thank you so much for watching and for the kind words. I try to buy the "deluxe" and "premium" mesh. Now if I'm doing a pouf wreath and add ruffles, I might go with a lesser quality mesh since it's just kind of in the background. I've done that with the windowpane mesh. It's an open weave, but I also incorporate ruffles that are premium and it makes such a pretty wreath! I buy my mesh pretty much exclusively through craftoutlet.com and have been very happy with the quality. I also love the poly burlap they have. They also have amazing ribbon in nice long rolls. (I'm not affiliated with them in any way, btw) I just have been really satisfied with their product. I hope you have the same experience. Blessings to you! -Kelly
Bonessa Ivey If I were doing a Minnie Mouse wreath- I'd definitely go with red deco mesh with black and white polka dot ribbons. I might even just do two big ears with a big bow in between. I'm not 100% sure how to create the ears... but that could be cute- people should recognize it's representing Minnie. Anyway you go- I'd for sure go with the black ribbon with white polka dots and red mesh. Good luck! :)
Jan- I literally apologize with subtitles throughout the video for the awful quality of the camera work. My wonderful husband volunteers to shoot my videos and this was the first we ever made. He’s an account executive by trade so I give him a break. I don’t know what else to say other than I sincerely hope you were able to take something useful from the tutorial. I have dozens of other videos that are much better quality.
+rugbymoms Ruby- Thank you so much for watching. I realize the quality of this video is very lacking... we tried out a new camera (which was a disaster) and as for my helper- it's my husband who is an account executive by trade... this is one of the first videos we did, and he thought it would be helpful if he zoomed in on certain things. I just felt like the information in the video was really good, even if the video itself, wasn't. We're hopefully getting better with each new video we produce. Thanks for hanging in there! Blessings- Kelly
Adrina- I appreciate the kind compliment regarding the wreath. However, I literally addressed the poor video/camera quality in the description and throughout the video with subtitles. I tried my best to let everyone know that there are issues right from the beginning of the tutorial. As I have explained several times, my husband, who is an account executive by trade, kindly volunteers to shoot my videos. This was our first one we ever attempted. He's a wonderful man and indulges me in all of my endeavors and has helped me to continue to make better videos. While the quality of this video isn't great- I'm hopeful the information is useful.
Doe- You've made it back to the very first wreath video we ever made and it's TERRIBLE! I mean, I think the information is very helpful, but the quality is embarrassing. I tried to apologize before and during the video, I know it's so distracting, but I just felt like the information was really good, so I've kept the video on my channel. Thanks for sticking with me! Blessings! Kelly
Nancy- Thank you for your feedback.
Barbara- I explained as best as I could in the description of the video, that this is the FIRST video we ever made. All throughout the video, I make apologies for the distracting camera motion and sound. The camera helper is my husband, who is an account executive by trade, but he loves me enough to try to help me as much as he can, so firing him is not something I'd entertain. I have 15 other wreath making videos if you like a tutorial that's not so distracting.
Kelly you out did yourself. I really like it. It was very informative and a little comical. I gather your camera man was learning on a new camera and I actually had a howl watching. It makes you human and down to earth ,I like that! Have a blessed night. I will stay tuned for your next video! I enjoy

Beautiful wreath, and LOVE how you explain EVERYTHING, but the zooming in and out is nauseating...lol!! Keep up the GREAT tutorials!!
+Sandy Boyd Thank you for watching and the compliment. I know that video is terrible quality. It was one of our first tries. This is one of the best tutorials I've seen on Deco Mesh Wreaths. I couldn't concentrate on what you were doing because the camera made me dizzy.

Got a better understanding from your tutorial. Now did you say that they made these wreaths with the ties already attached?

My sweet husband, who is an account executive by trade, kindly films for me. We've had a learning curve and have made many videos that are of a much better quality since that initial video. I hope you will watch some others and find them easier to view. Thanks again for watching.
Kelly K I have watched a few more of you video and they are much better. I really like the way you explain step by step for crafters that are just starting.
Linda- I'm so glad you found some other videos helpful! Thanks for letting me know. Blessings! -Kelly
Very pretty
PS. Beautiful as always
So easy and Purdy
Thanks so much! I appreciate your watching. Blessings! -Kelly
Is there a reason you don't start on the inside ring?
+Christine Emrick Christine- Thanks so much for watching. Actually there's not a reason. It works either way- I just start on the outer ring because it feels more comfortable to me- probably out of habit. Blessings! -Kelly
How many ties are on per section of the wreath outer an inner circle. Terri Jeffreys
Terri- Most 15" work wreaths are 10 twists on the outer ring and 8 on the inner. Thanks for stopping by! Blessings- Kelly
Nice wreath. Just wish you would have held it straight up and longer so we could see it.
Kammy- Thanks so much for watching. This video is the first we ever made and there are so many things about it I wish I could change. I appreciate you sticking with it. I have 17 other videos with tutorials for all styles of wreaths. They are not perfect, but they're all better than this one! Blessings! -Kelly
+Kelly K Keep sharing
Where do you buy your deco mesh? I have only bought it at Hobby Lobby. The mesh really is stiff and sticks together.
Kelly
sooo nice deco mesh but its impossible to find something like those here in Greece.I wonder where to i search if someone have those.I am very sad.
-Kelly
+Kelly Kimbrough tyyyy very much and i just hope. From internet its difficult to buy things because we have yet capital control.
How much would you charge for a wreath like this? I am going to make some and sell them!!! Thank You!!
THANK YOU KELLY!!!
LOL .. Tell your photographer/videographer to STOP .. zooming in and out with that camera .. you can't see what you are doing and the noise is nerve racking ...
Question, have you ever started with the inner row instead of the outer to see if it would be easier?
Em- I'm sure that I have- I truly don't have a reason that I start from the outside ring. I just usually do. Thinking about it, it may well be easier for sure.
For the Mickey Mouse wreath I will buy the ears for my center...
Hi Kelly do you wreaths with mesh tubbing?
Terri- I've only done one wreath in the style I think you're asking about. Here's the tutorial I did for it. ua-cam.com/video/Xgk-QA9WRQE/v-deo.html
Does the it comes with the twist ties?
Beauty Yes- the ties are attached to the wreath. It makes it so much easier than having to attach pipe cleaners yourself! Michaels and Hobby Lobby have the work wreaths with the twists for sure and a number of places online do as well.
Cake'd Up The ties are chenille ties and are bought separately.
-Kelly

Could you give me so tips on a Minnie mouse wreath Mae be a plush ore mouse head thanks
Good luck! :)
camera in and out is frustrating, but the work looks easy.
I was so inspired I went out and bought the stuff to try to make one myself. I'm hopeful that it will be as pretty as what you built.
Jan- That's awesome. I hope your wreath turns out beautifully. Just take your time and have fun with it. Blessings! -Kelly
Loved the wreath, but your helper has to stop zooming in and out so much.. I got dizzy just watching it!! Lol TFS though!!
Great video! You also look great!I think you lost weight!
Bernadette- Thanks so much!! Blessings- Kelly
Beautiful wreath... but zooming in and out of your camera was distracting.
I don't know what has changed. I love watching you, but that zoom noise is very distracting. It hasn't been in any of the other videos I've watched.
Blessings! Kelly
Ahhh that explains it!
Why don't you just mesh your mesh on the mat. I place my work wreath on a line and then measure the measure the mesh out however long I want it.'
the camera sounds are distracting
Nancy- Thank you for your feedback.
Those do not look like pencil wreaths.
T- That’s because it’s a “work wreath.” I indicated that. I mentioned you could also use a pencil wreath.
fire the camera helper they're making me dizzy.
