I've included the references in the accompanying blog post: theoceanpreneur.com/ocean-nomad-tv/what-is-posidonia-oceanica Some of the info has been translated from Spanish since there seemed to be more documented in Spanish about the Posidonia, especially after the new law in the Balearics has been put into place given the Posidonia a higher state of protection. This was one of the incentives to make a video in English :)

Here is a great place to start. www.haereticus-lab.org/ Through their fantastic work, suncream that isn't reef safe has now been banned in Hawaii. Over the next 2 or 3 years I hope to assist this project by creating awareness and assisting scientist to collect essential data so that it could be possible to lobby local governments to create a similar law that bans the use of harmful cosmetics.
This report (in English) was funded by the EU and completed in 2015. This shows us the ares that need immediate action throughout the Mediterranean as best as can be. www.nature.com/articles/srep12505
