Bill McRaven is the last American Hero. Tough and disciplined yet compassionate. He has a realistic view of the world supported by real experiences. Sir, I agree all my literally every day and I worked with my Father at one of the big 3 for 23 years and even almost till the day he passed he would ask me if I remembered the Golden Rule. I would say yes and I would be required to recite " Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" I really like the Muslim people to the point I always greet them in their native tongue.
How is he not the president? He is someone we can all be proud of.

He is clearly positioning himself for political office as a social liberal/centrist. Verbally attacking the current president was telling and unfortunate; even worse, right before he did this he talked about how military leaders must not undermine a sitting president, especially during a time of conflict. He is someone who paid all his dues in the Navy and stuck it out in tough conditions, even to the extent of sticking to the right thing when the right thing was not cool. He is a very good military leader--if this is not taken in the full sense of being able to win a war. You will notice that no American Generals or Admirals are hanging their heads low because of the defeats in Iraq and Afghanistan. No one has taken responsibility. Make no mistake, the United States has endured two humiliating defeats since 9-11, and the terrorists have multiplied, becoming more savvy and hardened.
McRaven's first step into the political arena was awkward and very poorly advised. Attacking a sitting president while the country has troops in the field during armed conflict only makes the bad guys happy and disheartens the U.S. military. He should have known better, and in fact he did. Strangely, he has come out talking about human rights and the importance of diversity, highlighting the roles of Muslim women--all of this in the wake of the killfest in Afghanistan. According to several reliable news sources, no one's people have killed more innocent Muslim women anywhere (except Assad, etc.), even with impunity. It takes a lot of guts to shoot a pregnant woman. Picture bullets and grenade fragments hitting bodies in places short on local news, a fiasco in which he helped determine the outcome of America's epic loss in Afghanistan by galvanizing populations against the U.S.A. His remarks about President Trump and about Pakistani peace activists are bizarre, bordering on the grotesque. It can only be explained as an effort to garner support from the Left. Stay tuned folks because this is likely to get curiouser and curiouser.
Any institution must be extremely careful whom to choose on its leadership group, as education seem to have a tendency for the human mind to eliminate its own body that supports it, and then takes enjoyment in living within its own disillusioned mind space titillating itself through public speeches and journalism or other propaganda meant to influence others to do a range of bodywork including serving as, kamikaze pilots, female suicide bombers and volunteers to do the physical work, where they claim full "apparent responsibilities" for other people's physical pains!, including apologies and tribal funeral ceremonial rituals.
Trump is a fucking donut, megalomaniac and a luddite who can't take any criticism. Also plenty of retired high up military personnel criticised Bush during the Iraq war. And you don't have to have a political agenda to criticise Trump since theres so much to criticise about him. Pretty much everyone in the world thinks Trump is a joke.

If you know anything about his backstory, If you have bothered to do your own due diligence ... You would understand the context Of his Thinking and actions.
