My first reaction to this very important documentary film is that it should have been made in English. I am not sufficiently comfortable with my French or my creole for that matter to understand all the details provided.

why does the whole world have to accomodate Americans because they refuse to learn other languages? Haiti's official languages are Creole and French, period. So naturally, the documentary about Haiti filmed IN HAITI would be made in those languages.
I did not intend for my remark to extend toward anything political. While I do understand the sentiment from which your response arises, I was simply conveying the message that, had it been in English, a whole lot more folks would see and understand this documentary. Viewership might increase and who knows what could happen beyond that.
