I suggest you talk with your doctor about IBS or other related gastrointestinal issues. IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) can develop at any age and spicy foods are one of the major irritants. Medications and/or diet and lifestyle changes can significantly enhance your quality of life when it comes to eating/enjoying food, and a happier, healthier gut. I developed IBS and acid reflux disease at 17 due to a toxic reaction to an anti-depressant (it ate a hole through my stomach lining and gave me a heart murmur). My life sucked for a while until I could get it under control. I was on meds for about 5 years before it improved. Obviously, my case is a bit more severe than the average person, but I'm in my 30s now and I haven't needed meds for my IBS or acid reflux for several years. Definitely worth looking into before it gets worse.
Maybe it's just me but majority of Hmong people that I meet or know are usually Hmoob Leeg. I feel like it's rare to come across those who are Hmoob Dawb. Then again, maybe it's just me cause I am an introvert and don't talk much or make new friends. lol
