Aragorn it´s a Dúnedain, a sort of "royal" race among the men, blessed with long life as descents of Númenor (they have part of elves in their blood). That´s why he has 87 years old here, and looks young.
You guys have to remember that the ring wants to be found and it corrupt whoever is holding it. It is a sacrifice. It granted hundreds of years of long life to Gollum when he had it the ring slowly deteriorated overtime. The dark Lord was gathering his strength and now that he is at full power he will do anything to have the ring.
Fun fact: they had to cut a large portion from the beginning of Fellowship where a tree called Old Man Willow sucks the hobbits into itsself, and a character called Tom Bombadil says "You should not be waking. At the time Sméagol’s personality is dominant, which is the more innocent/naive one. Ironically Christopher Lee (Sauroman) was the only actor alive to actually meet Tolkien in person. He also told Jackson than someone doesn't gasp at being stabbed on the back. He told him form experience.

To explain Gandalf coming back as the white wizard, I will summarize: Sauron is a servant of Morgoth, an evil god at war with the good ones. Sauron was sent by Morgoth to middle-earth, to dominate it, the wizards, were sent to middle-earth to counter Sauron. The white wizard was chief among them. When Sauruman betrayed "the cause" and Gandalf subsequently died, he was basically sent back to middle-earth to be the new white wizard because Sauruman failed. It's much more complex than that, as it is written in The Silmarlillion, but I did my best to keep it brief. Hope that helped a little
A lot of people talk about Gandalf like he's the Wise Old Wizard archetype, but I love that's more like your grumpy old granddad or teacher. He'll verbally dress you down when you do something stupid, but he'll also sneak the candy into the movie theatre for you.
After you guys finish these movies, I think Wellz and Pat or Evan should play Shadow or Mordor, and ESPECIALLY the sequel to that game Shadow of War on RTTV gaming. They're super fun, S-Tier combat and gameplay mechanics, and story wise its fire. I don't want to spoil you guys on the story but trust me its fire asf.
Man remember how much Legolas didn’t care for The dwarves in the hobbit series mind you in the books he doesn’t exist in that story, but just think of all the animosity he was given to dwarfs in that movie and now years later how kind he is to gimli. Taking up for him protecting him
Rob talking about Gandalf needing an upgrade, but doesn't know the while story. Gandalf didn't get an upgrade... Spoilers ahead: Gandalf is the physical form that the Maiar Olorin(his true name) took when he was sent to Middle Earth by the King of Gods. Who was also his creator. Gandalf is one of the strongest Maiar who tasked with helping the people of Middle Earth defeat the darkness within the lands, and within their hearts. He does not know the exact details of his purpose, only that his power and ability to actively interfere in the choices that mortals make is greatly limited. Which is why he does the bare minimum within his power help in all of the movies(and books). He was prohibited from doing more than necessary. He was meant to be a guide. That is who Gandalf the Gray was. Gandalf the White is Olorin after he was sent back to complete the original task given to him before. He was sent back with slightly less limitations to his power and how much he can interfere. This is because Sarumon failed to complete his task and also betrayed the Gods.
Gandalf it´s one of the five Istari... sent to the middle earth by the Valar. With Saruman, it´s also Gandalf, Radagast and the two blue wizards. Saruman was the white because he was chosen as the leader of all them. When he turned to evil... the God Ilúvatar chose a new leader.... returning Gandalf as Gandalf the white.
Elves see the entire world as a flat plane, so they can see clear to the horizon as long as they are high up enough. That's why Legolas was able to see where they were taking the hobbits.
Gandalf is basically an angel in human form in the LOTR universe. Same with every other wizard that is in Middle Earth. They were around even before the Elves were created. They were just sent to middle earth to deal with the threat of Sauron. He was brought back by the god of the LOTR verse to help finish the task of defeating him. Each colour for the wizards represents their role. Saruman the white was supposed to be the greatest of them all but he fell to the allure of the ring. Even before the events of the Hobbit he had been looking for the ring. The Balrog that he fought was of similar age and origins, they were just servants of Morgoth, the master of Sauron.
Hey friends. Just FYI, it's not a spoiler, but Gandalf carries one of the three Elvish rings, Narya, the Elvish Ring of Fire. Gandalf's original mission as Gandalf the Grey was to light the passions of mortals with the fires of inspiration to fight the shadow in all its forms. The elf that had the Ring of Fire thought that it would empower his mission as a Wizard when the Wizards (Istari) all arrived at the dawn of the 3rd Age after Sauron had already been defeated by men and elves. This is why in Moria before the Balrog in the first movie, Gandalf says, "I am a servant of the secret Flame, wielder of the Filame of Arnor. Dark Fire shall not avail you!" (the Elf Ring he wore under hiding spells on his hand protected him from any fire damage which is why the Balrog didn't burn him on the way down, and why Gandalf the Grey always fights with Light/Lightning and Fire). He's the OG Firebender.
The wizards are basically angels, I think Sauron is a fallen archangel while his master Morgoth was a fallen lowercase g “god” who rebelled against the capital G “God” who created all existence while his underlings created various races and features.
Gandalf isn't human. He's a Maia spirit like Sauron. Essentially a lesser angel. He was sent to middle earth along with the other wizards from the Undying Lands to guide the free ppls of middle earth against Sauron. However, the wizards weren't sent in their true forms. They sent in the bodies of frail old men with their power drastically diminished so that they wouldn't be tempted into domination like Sauron was.
The Nazgul were on Fell Beasts, not dragons. The Nazgul rode after being unhorsed at the Ford of Bruinen. The Bruinen formed the eastern border of the Kingdom of Arnor and later the petty realm of Rhudaur.
viggo mortensen who plays Aragon has been in the green book which I love yall got to check that movie out. Also falling, the dead don’t hurt, and history of violence.
If you don't know about Christopher Lee/Saruman/Dooku's back story you should check him out. He fought in WW2 amongst many other things. There is video out there of Lee explaining to Peter Jackson what it sounds like when someone actually dies in real life in an effort to change a scene to make it more realistic. He is a real one.
And to add to that, there's an urban legend (that I believe has been debunked, but it's still cool since he knew Ian Fleming) that he's one of the inspirations for James Bond.
36:30 Legolas has over 1,000 years of experience compared to Green Arrow. Also different type of bow and arrow being used man. Elijah Woods and Daniel Radcliffe have been being confused for each other since the movies came out and the movies came out around same time as each other. Some people do comparisons of the characters because there are some similarities, like Ron and Sam as they are the loyal best friend. Pippin and Merry comic relief like Fred and George, though we do get more character depth in Tolkien's world which considering his audience wasnt children makes since also Tolkien's writing is very in depth.
Not better than green arrow? Dude has been practicing archery for thousands of years and his elf eyes can see for miles. Worst elf archer is better than green arrow let alone Legolas 😂
Gandalf is basically am angelic like being who was sent to help but not too much. The gods limited his powers in middle earth l. Otherwise he would be almost on par with sauron himself

He's the OG Firebender.
also, he is the same level of being as the Balrog
I think youtube is turning yalls notis off. Glad my feed caught yall 😅
10:48 .That's chucky.
Imagine comparing Legolas, a 2900 year old experienced immortal elf, with a skilled normal man like the Green Arrow🤣🤣🤣
The Nazgul were on Fell Beasts, not dragons. The Nazgul rode after being unhorsed at the Ford of Bruinen. The Bruinen formed the eastern border of the Kingdom of Arnor and later the petty realm of Rhudaur.
You uploaded the moment i finished my homework, thanks!
shoutout to you guys
If Return of the King comes in two parts I’m gonna be cross but I’ll understand. That being said, I can’t wait for you guys to watch it.
36:30 Green Arrow vs Legolas never heard those two being put in a fight
at the end of the hobbit in the extended or in a deleted scene thranduil tells legolas to seek out aragorn
viggo mortensen who plays Aragon has been in the green book which I love yall got to check that movie out.
Lets GOOOOOO!!!!!
dude on the left falling asleep lol
Fun/Odd fact the dragon in this the scream was done by the directors wife
36:30 Legolas has over 1,000 years of experience compared to Green Arrow. Also different type of bow and arrow being used man.
Elijah Woods and Daniel Radcliffe have been being confused for each other since the movies came out and the movies came out around same time as each other. Some people do comparisons of the characters because there are some similarities, like Ron and Sam as they are the loyal best friend. Pippin and Merry comic relief like Fred and George, though we do get more character depth in Tolkien's world which considering his audience wasnt children makes since also Tolkien's writing is very in depth.
Looks like peaks back on the menu boys!!
Let’s get it!!!!!!
New subscriber here love you guys content‼️😎
Not better than green arrow? Dude has been practicing archery for thousands of years and his elf eyes can see for miles. Worst elf archer is better than green arrow let alone Legolas 😂
You should check out In Deep Geek. He goes really in depth into the history and lore of middle earth. The guy is a Tolkien scholar!
I don’t where you have submissions for taking recommendations but your next movie I think yall should watch is the Prince of Egypt :)
No one is saying it in the comments but Eru Aluvitar ( I know I probably f*cked up the spelling) basically god brought Gandalf back

These movies were still plenty long in the theater, its just they were not AS long as the proper extended editions.

if you wanna watch breakdowns and stuff defiantly watch nerd of the rings. he explains a lot. Also watch his morgoth videos
If you don’t watch the extended third one you won’t get to see Gandalf whoop Saruman
the next movie is where the genre of fantasy peaked

RT TV REACTS react to Tolkein untangled he’s the definite lord master imo if you need backstories on elves, humans, dwarves, wizards/balrogs etc
Liking the CGI orc and the ugly Wargs from The Hobbit more than those is a massive L.
On some real shit is some rotten brain dumbass opinion
those flying things are not dragons. they are fell beasts
Is it just me or was there hella ads while watching this vid???
You know worm tongue is chucky right hi I'm chucky you want to play😂
"Leg oh lass" pmo
Gandalf is basically am angelic like being who was sent to help but not too much. The gods limited his powers in middle earth l. Otherwise he would be almost on par with sauron himself

Aren't the wizards and sauron gods/angels? Im rusty on lore.
Sauron the Wizards and other Maiar are Angels/demons then the gods are like Morgoth and Aule then there's the one main creator god
