Agree on your assessment; over-hopped, and not "Treehouse smooth." Did enjoy "Very Green", and "Super Sap" is still great (albeit NOT a traditional West coast IPA).
I have found it on most of those bigger treehouse beers 2 weeks is The Sweet spot. If you have two cans try one fresh and one about two weeks in and I think you'll enjoy the two week in one much better.
I’ve been preferring them with like 6 weeks these days haha. They’re just so raw and hoppy it feels like fresh. I don’t remember treehouse beers being like that but maybe they always were? 🍻
Not your nose they are non descript aroma now. Have t had the last two you have done however I had anny 7 and 9 cans from a few weeks back and summer… those were heinous drain pours.
Long winded review! -wasnt able to get my hands on this, but based on your review I probably wouldnt enjoy it much. They need to make a dddoublegangerrr!
Treehouse is getting excessively cute with the numbers of variations of their beers. Five different versions of Julius?!?! People will catch on that this is just hype and gimmickry at some point.
Six. Juli-ish, Julius, Jjjuliusss, King Julius, King Jjjuliusss, Emperor Julius. But you’re right, it’s getting a little crazy. This beer is big. It was a good change of pace from the typical super soft TH beers, but I agree with Joe that the citrus flavors were a little covered up. I’d take King Jjjuliusss over this one, personally.
I’m confused what you mean by people will “catch on”. TH doesn’t need these “gimmicky” hyped beers to draw a crowd. They have no problems selling out of their base beers days after canning.
What about trillium being extremely hoppy?

They need to get more clever with their names bc it’s Julius and Green overkill!
😂😂😂
@@jsenigaglia if they made a beer named hop cum that would be more clever and I would drink the s#!t out of it! 🤣😂
Always lookn sharp mate 🇦🇺....such a good review...beer looks awesome
An emperor rules an empire, a king rules a kingdom 👍

Letting my second can sit for a couple weeks to see what it does. However... If this really is trading for crazy stuff I might have to do that
Nice! And I mean the old school WWF video on the TV. I've been watching early to late 90s royal rumbles on UA-cam as of late.
I've been sticking with the base beers from TH these days, they seem to be the most consistent and don't have as much hop burn. Cheers!

That glass doe🔥🔥
I hope that one day they will distribute to Cali. Salud! 🍻
I feel like Treehouse should reopen Monson to make the old Monson beers and then keep Charlton open for everyone else who doesn't care.
Next up: EMPEROR JJJULIUSSS
Genghis Gggreennn?
Good review, looks tasty 👍😀
It was good but not worth the hype. Vvveryyy hhhazzzy was amazing
Honest review Joe and please keep your pants on 🤣🤣
You needed to Age it for a few weeks

Definitely not their best.
