That rotor has sustained a massive amount of arcing for a while, to melt those thick copper bars. Like a crater in the rotor winding. The stator winding looks undamaged. Great video.

It’s incredible to see the amount of damage to the rotor. I’ve seen burnt windings, but not exploded, I’m surprised the explosion didn’t damage the stator wiring.

@Sheila Walker They don't even protect themselves no PPE look at the kid with Flip Flops, same thing no electric protection.Can you imagine the factory having no Control Panels Protection.

If that motor had overload protection there is the possibility that it didn't happen.
