Delhi Police received two successive calls on Monday morning, both originating from the Chief Minister's residence in Civil Lines, police sources said. The caller, claiming to be AAP leader Swati Maliwal, dialled emergency services after allegedly being assaulted.
At least 14 people were killed and 74 injured after a giant billboard fell on a fuel station in Mumbai's Ghatkopar area on Monday. The incident happened due to strong dust storms followed by heavy rain which caused mayhem in the city.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday filed his nomination papers from the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency. Ahead of filing his nomination, PM Modi arrived in the city on Tuesday and offered prayers at the Dasaswamedh Ghat. PM Modi also offered prayers at the Kaal Bhairav Temple in Varanasi.
