That is the point, they suck in the game. But they understand basics in terms of that every tank has some amount of armor, reload speed, damage,.. Former WOWS supertester captain here. The whole idea is to have testers from each skill level based on their WoT rating and WR (below average, average, above average and top 1%). This way they can gather data how the tank performs when played by the majority of people playing the game which is 49%ers and below, while monitoring if it overperforms in the hands of unicums and above. The idea is great, but the execution is, as is tradition with WG, less than satisfactory. WG DOES NOT care about personal opinions or feedback (especially not CCs, who are just a way to market the game, unless it's extremely negative feedback that might harm their profits in any way). ONLY factors on balancing are their spreadsheats, statistics and analysis (if the tank is going to be profitable). Being a supertester was probably the most unsatisfying gaming related activity of my life, because you spend sometimes multiple hours every day inside of training rooms and random battles, trying to gather as much productive feedback as possible (which WG demands from their supertesters in order to receive rewards) and in the end no one really listens, because the glorious spreadsheat knows better than you. Great company, 10/10, would recommend.

They are really testers. I was a supertester for a while and most of them are just regular players who are willing to spend some time to test a new content of the game.

Just to make things clear, all supertesters be it on EU or RU have over 49% wr since that is the minimum required to even join the program That was a dev, low number of games and very low wr
I mean they need to have good and bad players play the tank to see how both type of players will react. There are more bad players than good players in any game, so they need to appeal to them as well. Also, to see how new players will react to new vehicles especially premium. For $ making purposes of course and so the game doesn't die.
So because we have stats on one supertester from each server, now we can totally classify every supertester on that server. Seems very logical to me. Maybe because different players of different skill levels play this game, they might want input from different levels of players when doing testing.
So I have around 2500 to 2600 WN8. I play lots of high tier and I play some cold war (I play on console). I feel since im a unicum and I have better game knowledge my opinion would be better as a super tester than a bad player. My game knowledge means I can more accurately assess the tank and understand how it matches up against other tanks at its tier and when it meets higher tiers. I think bad player sshouldn't be super testers.

@@Fadetasity I can tell you that 70/80% of the Supertesters in EU are Super Unicums ( Chief Proto 3mark at 4,8k and Udarniy at 4,2k) and that say a lot
In my opinion to have over 55% win doesn’t means you are a good player. I have been playing this game since 2018 and i don’t have crazy win rate but I am better than players that got over 55 win ratio by playing tier 4-5 and camping with tier x tanks.

I have sucked at the game and I'm better than the RU Super Tester. I would have thought that there were requirements to Super Test. Like at least a 50% win rate and a WN8 at a certain level, that wasn't achieved by bot clubbing or stat padding. Something to say you know what you're doing in game.
There are requirements : 49% wr, 5k games and 500 games in tier 10. Ppl who don't have those are devs. And remember devs are hired for their development skills and ability to follow instructions, not their skill at the game.
I find that’s the problems , the better players don’t super test , and you have shitters super testing , that’s why every tank is so far in between one another
I would want the super testers to have very low wr. That would make sense because they would be playing in some cases to test armor and so forth. Not always focusing on winning.

Win loss of a player doesn’t mean anything and I’m over players using this as a means of judging how good someone is you can play play great games and get 4k to 6k damage games and still go on a loosing streak of 10 to 15 games if the rest of the team isn’t playing smart

I used to have 55% win rate with it and went that day for a session of 50 games with it and I had an amazing 37% win rate. Yes, 37% win rate, a player that scores 2.4k dmg per game on average + another 700 assisting dmg on average .. It's true that day, I was loosing like few times before, but it happens. It's not an end all deal. When you see a player have 60% win rate on some of their tanks with a crap load of games on those tanks, it's surely a good player overall.
yes but the 10-15 games has little to no impact, when you consider that a good player will regularly have a game winning impact with their plays over thounsands of games, as opposed to bad players. Hence why good players always have higher winrates than bad players. I have 12k battles now, with like 8k of those when i was a kid. When i started playing again 1 year ago, i had 48% winrate, and now ive managed to get it up to almost 54%. Winrate absolutely shows the level of a player, however you cant judge someone ONLY by their winrate.
Seeing this is almost as aggravating at you stealing Skill's and other creators content and posting it as your own for profit. With all due respect I hope your channel gets removed.

It's the weak and average players, who are fed up with being seal clubbed. And that, all the way to t10. Folks with years ahead of playtime, crews with almost every skill that's worth to have, and reward tanks locked to regular people making a massive difference. The really tragic thing is that I suspect more people are watching others play WoT on YT or Twitch, than actually playing. Because game is no longer fun. But hey, copium is great, keeps people playing while Wargaming laugh all the way to the bank when suckers buy the next shit or overpowered premium tank xD
