  • A look at Armor Mesh: armormesh.net/
    In our pursuit of creating the finest of performance pockets, Armor Mesh has developed our revolutionary hand made design. As chain link armor was developed for gladiators, our Free-Flowing Woven Technology, with connections moving and flowing simultaneously, brings the utmost feel and ball control to any player.
    Armor Mesh flexes where you want it, yet stays consistently taut at the top for an always-smooth release. Expanding and contracting together, our uncut diamonds provide as little resistance points as possible for the ball, to always keep it in your control, while cradling, catching, faking or however you wish to flow on the field. Dual sided options offer either added grip and torque, or channeling accuracy.
    Complementing the pocket design technology, we’ve spared no expense choosing the material that we believe is best suited for the mission. This cordage is 100% hydrophobic with unmatched durability at a strength to weight ratio 10x greater than steel, yet so light and waterproof that it will literally float on water.
    Here at Armor Mesh, we are excited as we bring our passion to you and to the future of Lacrosse.

    Your not over explaining, depends on whos listening. I appreciate the nuance, and i can see that some of those details you point out might confuse a newbie. Very technical and accurate. I point out similar things to people all the time about their stick. Your just a lax nerd, well done

    It slings!!! Facts! The community loves your reviews. Spyder Wire at 10 grams is a FOSO dream pocket. Pegasus Mesh is 23 grams and it helps to string to the very outside “holes” It slings… #noshootingstrings

      Hey, do you know if it works in a faceoff head like will any of the strings shift or should I just stick to normal mesh for faceoffs?

    • @StephenMilano12
      @StephenMilano12 2 роки тому +1

      @@braylonmanz5566 yes, I’m testing them both in a multiple STX Duel 2 as my FOSO camp learns the basics. So far the Spyder Wire is super light at 10.6g and quickly working out well, the Pegasus is heavier at 23g. Pegasus mesh must be strung to the outside “holes” halfway down the head to prevent to much hold and or risking any issues. Edit: I string mine “Cord” side facing. Soft side is the back for FOSO.

    • @StephenMilano12
      @StephenMilano12 2 роки тому +1

      @@braylonmanz5566 following up weeks later, slight shift on Spyder Wire ( you have to manually adjust a single string horizontal ), Pegasus has held up and is a beast on FOSO too.

    Agree with so much of what you found here- string it evenly, not one side then the other. Along the same line, string the top string from the center out for the same reason. I’ve been using all SIs but don’t think it has to be. I’ve done six, only the last one with shooters.

    Has anyone here tried and compared each orientation of the mesh?
    ArmorMesh is advertised as having more hold with the knot knobs side facing outward (as it appears RedStarLacrosse strung it), whereas stringing the knot knobs facing the inside of the pocket gives a more pronounced channeling effect. I'm curious to hear from a few people who tried it both ways to give me some context before I start stringing my own pocket up...

    • @armormesh
      @armormesh 2 роки тому +2

      Both sides have solid accuracy, with the vertical rows interacting with the ball on either side, but the more pronounced channeling side having a bit more, The opposite side would have a more hold with the horizontal cords gripping it in. Biased here, but both sides have great hold, both have great accuracy, so don't stress it. Can't go wrong.

    I am still working out my pocket it is too shallow and for me has way to much loft so I put shooters in it that helped. Can you post your stringing please I have the same pioneer head and have it strung on the "Hold" side of the mesh. If it comes out uneven just like red start I did 2 head holes at a time too keep it even.

      move your side wall holes placement, bring them up 1 and try, then 2 etc...... also depends where you place the double jump if you have any. like he said in the video he did 1 double jump. look where he placed it, because his pocket is low mid, i would shift everything up one from his

      Could the opposite of whip be slip? Another option would be smooth. In bowling, when a ball’s hook reaction is even and consistent it is called smooth, and when it’s more violent and jerky it’s called sharp.

      The 2 versions of pockets are different. If you’re already here than you could report back after you test one of them out. The Spyder Wire is under 11 grams… I strung mine in a Duel 2 for FOSO, The Pegasus is 23 grams, string with another Duel 2 and has a feel that it would last for years as an offense player. Just string to the outside holes and keep it simple. No shooters needed if strung well.
