Thanks for sharing Johnathan, your instruction made a lot of sense to me. Your supporting dialogue touched on a lot of nuances that other demo. often skip over. Subscribed.
Thank you Jonathan for such a wonderful tutorial, you made it so simple to understand...but i am struggling to test my work, it keeps on giving me warning message about EaselJS, and it does not play anything, is there anything wrong with a setting or something?
Hi I'm new with AS3 and HTML5. Your video helped me a lot. Thank you ! I want to ask, will this script work for touch? when its load in mobile browser.
Thank you! This video has been a great help! Very well explained and thank you for providing the file "Bilbo_Interactive-2017FA_START.fla". Greetings from Munich/ Germany. Hans
Thank you for the tutorial! Is there a way of closing the output file using a close button, please? I mean, I created an exit button and wanted to close the output file by clicking the exit button. Thank you.
OMG i am back! I just find out that Flash is ported to Animate and i can create HTML5 interactive content! I was proffesional designer and animator in Flash. When swf is died, i stoped working in FLash. Now i am back with the same skills in even better enviroment. I am the good of this software. I will film you a loot of tutorials!
Hello ... a question could you control the reproduction of the animation in "adobe animate" with the browser scroll? when you go down with the scroll control, go play the animations ... thanks.
My company wants to start a website base on Adobe Animate. We've asked many vendors to build a web site for us. They said that flash is not good option at all. And adobe animate is also not a good option for web site. One of the vendors said that Adobe has stopped developing Adobe Animate 2 months ago!! I understand the flash is bad for web site, and animate edge is no longer available. But Adobe Animate just started 2 years ago, how can that be stopped?
Anyone please help answer if is it true that Adobe Animate will die soon? Is it a bad idea to build a web site based on Adobe Animate? Is the near future, browsers would no long support flash/ adobe animate?
I have not heard that Adobe has stopped development. In fact, they just released a new version a month ago at Adobe Max... with the ability to have advanced layers separated by z-depth! Flash (as a plugin) may be dead in the future, but HTML5 output and WebGL will only get better I think! Still, it is not the right platform for website development IMHO. Better to use JS/JQuery and a good coder!
I think they got Edge Animate and Animate CC mixed up. Edge Animatie is also from Adobe and they did stop developing that software. The development on Adobe CC is not stopped at al. It isn't a good idea to make a website in it tough, but you can make a lot of different other things in it: - HTML5 ads - HTML5 animation - HTML5 interactive animations / games - GIF animations - MP4 animations (you need an extra free tool to convert the SWF) You can make HTML5 or SWF files in Animate CC. The SWF files are not very popular anymore because they are not supported on mobile devices and also a lot of internet platforms stopped playing them. You can still use SWF files for offline things, for example if you have to a make a small computergame for offline use in a supermarket or other building. But that's only a good idea if you already know Actionscript. I wouldn't advice anyone to learn Actionscript now. You can better learn Javascript and make HTML5 with that. But don't make a complete website in it.
Hi Guxalin and Thadeus. Sorry for my delay in responding. I agree that Muse and Wix are decent website design tools, but personally, don't find them the best choice. Often, websites are now built using Wordpress. Using builders such as Elementor, Beaver Builder or DIVI (amond others) can allow you to create a custom layout more easily if you are not a coder. It really just DEPENDS on what you want as the outcome. What is the purpose and design idea for the site? Does it require heavy use of animation, transitions and the like? If so, you will have a hard time evaluating the right way to build it until you find the software tool or js framework/library that allows what you need.
The behavior of the example file not working in my Animate CC. Sometimes yes but sometimes fails... I have detected a lot of bug in Adobe products lately :-(

Lovely. It's good to go a little bit into the programming side aswell, for us who are purely software user dummies 😁
Thanks!

Thank you very much for your video, I follow the video method to do a bit, but do not know why I click on the stop button when not work?
I posted the start file in the description. Maybe you just don't have a similar structure... ie, using Movieclips?
Thank you very much for your tutorial, can't wait for next tutorials to stop and play the feet please?
Thanks! That's the point... just enough to get you started, and hopefully figure out how to target the feet. ;)
What about more complex programing? (jQuery, GreenSock, sending data to NodeJS)
Is it possible to export in application format?
Sir How to call parent object or movie clip please reply

Animate CC and programming can be tricky to learn!
I’m running into same issue, I think older Flash versions didn’t have as many bugs.... :-/
@@heyhej1 i don't know of which versions you're talking, but maaaaan was flash buggy when i first used it 15 years ago 😂
thank you
How do you create an independent timeline?
Matthew Montgomery movieclips always have independent timelines. Graphic symbols are different.
Nobody literally nobody is showing end file or exported file.
