"British Female Voice" is my choice for all my devices. It has a soothing quality. I think these guys are thinking of a woman who talks like a guy and in that register ...not the same thing. The piercing hard edge of Valley Girl, nasal whine that squeaks and ends statements with the intonation of a question can't be anyone's first choice. In any case ...women's voices deepen with age and men's get higher. XoXo
Apparently these guys have never heard of Kathleen Turner (she voiced Jessica Rabbit in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"). The right timbre in a lower female voice equals smoky, sultry. The wrong timbre or too much vocal cord damage makes for scary lunchroom lady. And high voices in females can very easily sound annoying, whiney, ditzy, or childish, particularly with poor timbre or too much nasality.
How could you find a supposed opposite s3x to have a voice like a man and you think that it's attractive? Let me ask you this. Do you think women would find men with female voices attractive?
Interesting note, when the same person speaks with a British versus American accent, they will often drop about half an octave in their natural pitch, from what I’ve observed, mostly in actors who have done both. People mostly find the accent quite attractive and I think it is due to different vowel positions. I also think some guys equate women with deep voices to their behavior or to being louder. Many man found Lauren Bacall’s voice attractive.
I was watching a comedian yesterday, her name is Beth Stelling. Her last bit "Boner Apetit" is pretty funny. Apparently she is also a writer for Rick and Morty. Her voice isn't low or anything but contains a lot of fry. I thought it was pretty cool and today your video comes out. I think you should interview low voiced women to give us some idea of what we're dealing with here.
Biologically men are linked to liking high pitch female voices while women like lower voices. It is the same thing with the jawlines; men prefer smoother rounder faces while women prefer stronger jawlines or higher cheekbones. There are exceptions mostly due to social factors or personal experience but this is the norm
It also depends on what the speaking voice of the person being interviewed is as a man with a deep voice may consider a woman with a deeper voice but that which is higher than his (linked to testosterone, muscle, and an indicator of fitness for mating). I have a deeper voice ( I sing tenor range with subharmonics thanks to David in the second octave) and prefer guys with voices deeper than mine. It’s all relative.
lmao man, we need a longer version of this!
David literally 9 feet tall or something xD
can confirm
