The whole reason why she went to PNation is because during that low time for her, Psy expressed his support to her by sending her the ILoveMyBody song (demo i think). This was all during the Mycon USA tour, mind you. She admitted it herself that she was not having a good time at one of the concerts then because of the issue. But the members (and now we know Psy) helped her through it. ILMB is one of the main reasons why she signed with PNation. She felt supported and understood when Psy sent that song to her. And then she decided to share that song to the public by making it her first single with PNation. I really feel like like she released this song as a positivity reminder not only to herself, but also to everyone that needs it. She was bothered. But she fought through. And that in itself is beautiful.

I’ve had similar experiences to Hwasa, like being body shamed, but we seem to have different outlooks from said experiences. One tangible piece of evidence I can suggest is the lyrics to Maria. I’m sure facing hate on the scale that celebs do isn’t easy, but in comparison to other songs by artists about the hate they receive, Maria is the only one that seems like she’s really hung up on ‘but why do people hate me?’ Babe, people don’t have to like you. Not everyone is gonna get on with everyone else and that’s just life. It’s not fair for them to be hating, but life isn’t fair unfortunately. She has plenty of fans that love her and people cheering her on, but she’s caught up on why people hate her. Whereas IVE’s Either Way says that yeah okay getting hated on hurts, it’s not fun, but it’s just part of life and they’re still good doing their thing. Listen to half her interviews and it's obvious that she's insecure of her body, has struggled with binge eating, and has very real struggles relating to her body and how people perceive her. Hwasa has had a fucking difficult time with this shit and framing her as unbothered flattens out the nuance and humanity that she's tried to present herself with

It’s not purely her songs, it’s a lot of things.
I’ve had similar experiences to Hwasa, like being body shamed, but we seem to have different outlooks from said experiences.
One tangible piece of evidence I can suggest is the lyrics to Maria. I’m sure facing hate on the scale that celebs do isn’t easy, but in comparison to other songs by artists about the hate they receive, Maria is the only one that seems like she’s really hung up on ‘but why do people hate me?’ Babe, people don’t have to like you. Not everyone is gonna get on with everyone else and that’s just life. It’s not fair for them to be hating, but life isn’t fair unfortunately. She has plenty of fans that love her and people cheering her on, but she’s caught up on why people hate her. Sometimes people are just hateful and it’s their own personal shit with on relation to you. Whereas IVE’s Either Way says that yeah okay getting hated on hurts, it’s not fun, but it’s just part of life and they’re still good doing their thing.
Hwasa seems to really care about the why, she wants to be liked, to fit in, and yeah those are things we all want. But she seems to care so much that she can’t accept that it’s impossible to be liked by everybody.
That’s just the vibe I get from her I guess. Not just from Maria, but like said, from a lot of things, just her in general.

Maybe you’re right, but that’s what I love about Maria. It’s a deeply personal song.
It talks about how the hatred she received turned into an opportunity (like she got hate for not fitting the beauty standard, but at the same time, that’s what made people pay attention to her) and it’s her consoling herself.
I think idols are somewhat expected to be a face of positivity, and that anguish and then consolation is something that makes me obsessed with maria

I think the most funny part of this whole situation is her fans , at least some of them , some say she never say that she was unbothered witch is wrong she say it herself that she cares about her high notes more than her case and some say well she didn't write or make that song wich again she say it herself that even though she didn't make that song when she heard it for the first time she fell in love with that song and didn't want to change it , and the thing is it's OK for her to care about this situation or be bothered she is a human being that other people put her in a hard situation , being bothered because of this whole situation is one of the most normal things ever but its just opposite of the unbothered queen image that she and her fan want her to be , you can't say that she is unbothered after her conversation with bam bam so making her being an unbothered queen is the only problem here no one has a problem with why she care whil she shouldn't .

I agree that Hwasa's release of 'I Love My Body' definitely doesn't align with the whole unbothered queen persona but the thing is she's NEVER been unbothered by the hate and shaming she's been subject to. Listen to half her interviews and it's obvious that she's insecure of her body, has struggled with binge eating, and has very real struggles relating to her body and how people perceive her. Hwasa has had a fucking difficult time with this shit and framing her as unbothered flattens out the nuance and humanity that she's tried to present herself with
