If you asked me , all Netflix needed to do was to give better living conditions to the contestants , and not show blatant favour risk to the “influencers” . And they would have gotten a successful show regardless of the criticism of forgoing the shows original message about anti capitalism. Mr beast literally did it before them , and showed that it was possible
Obviously not the first one to say that irony died when this show came about but the fact that I knew 2 people participating in the show made it delightfully absurd.
This was a dark reality competition and I liked it, though I felt dirty after watching. The additional games were mostly clever and it was interesting to see the high pressure,
The only true squid game is Takeshi's castle. That show is gritty and dark AF. You can never guess who Takeshi would take out of the game. The ending game is very hard to watch. We all knew Takeshi will win no matter what. 😢😢😢

I haven’t watched the show , but if he rejected it in a rude manner , then I wouldn’t blame her putting his number , but if he rejected it in a polite or normal way like “no thank you” or something along that line . Then yea the old lady would be the unreasonable one

I don’t think them babies is right … I would say that they are people with a sense of good sportsmanship and decency . I haven’t watched the reality show myself , but if it is like the show , then there technically can be more than 1 winner to split the money with . And even if that’s not the case , that still doesn’t give people the excuse to act like douchebags to other contestants , and actively try to eliminate each other . But at the same time , I’m not saying every contestant has to be like Ali from the show and actively help each other , even though helping fellow contestants does boost your chances of winning as proven by Flim theory . You can be neutral to other contestants and not interfere or interact with them My point is , even in competitions where there can only be one winner , there’s no need to actively try to eliminate others , it just makes you look like a jerk to both the other competitors and the audience , and hoist your chance of being targeted by others
