First-- THANK YOU for the great videos. You are doing a great job!!!!VIdeo suggestion! Customs process. IF I ship a car How does the process work & where do I go to pick it up ? Is it near the SJO? Can I ship a car into CR before starting the retirement visa process & still claim the tax exemption ? I know the laws are new & are subject to change. But it would be very helpful to many coming to CR.

Thanks for watching my video! Doing videos about customs process would be legal advice. I am not feeling save to speak on that, there always lots of changes.
As far I know you need first do the process for the residency and then you can import a car without tax.
You should consult this with the CR immigration office and / or a attorney. Also you could consult a custom agency. I do not feel save to give you a better answer.
If you ship a car, your CR customs agent will determinate where the customs declaration/location in CR is processed.
