It was my wife and I’s one year marriage anniversary on the 15th. We didn’t get to do much because of the lock down here in Washington. It would be so freakin cool if you did like a shout out or say happy anniversary to me and my wife adryanna. We usually will get some fast food or something and turn on your videos to relax. You have made this quarantine more peaceful. We thank you for that.
I have to say, as a salesman myself, you are living the dream. Building your business with an airplane. Truly inspirational, I hope to meet one day. Safe travels.
From personal GA experience flying in NY is a very stressful thing to do. Especially when learning how to fly out of KFRG for private and instrument. Glad that you were able to fly into one of our busiest airports!!
Love your videos . . . learning experience, since we fly similar aircraft. (COL4) Flying an approach at higher than normal speed is a skill worth practicing when at busy airports.
The most congested airspace. Got to love the hospitality of the NE ATCs. Live ATC.net has captured some really intense communications between pilots and controllers. Got to be on top of your game. Glad you survived your sanity while you were there.
Good video, as always! I gotta admire your ability to switch from the business man and pilot (and youtuber!) mindset back and forth on a dime. You gotta be well organized and calm to be able to be successful in both.
Glad that you flew yourself to the NYC area for the first time! Been KTEB and visited Meridian 4 times, mainly for the sightseeings over the Hudson River SFRA in C-172. I am not 100% sure if it is doable in a SR-22, but if so I wish you will get the chance to do it a few times during the day and in the evening. Also Meridian is certainly the more economic option in that area, the ramp fee waiver is similar to many FBO’s in the midwest, and the cervice never disappoints :)
Tired - I love that you bring little details like that out in your video. It's the reality of flying. Imagine if you had to hand fly the entire flight:) I remember seeing Erie for the first time (from the ground). It's HUGE and it's not even close to the largest of the Great Lakes. Lol at the taxi instructions before the landing. It was good to see normal (on the ground). I look forward to seeing normal again.
Awesome flight Niko! I appreciate your professionalism and skills. Thank you for taking the time to produce these videos. Great flight, John Lia, X49 South Lakeland FL.
Another awesome video Niko. I admire you're business endeavors and understand the hard work you put in to make it happen. Flying is a passion but also a necessity for your business. I worked in Field Sales for 23/yrs. My "plane" was my car. I wore out 8-auto's and drove over a million miles in my career. Then one day? The passion was gone! Mostly due to the traffic on the highway's. When I watch your vid's and look thru the camera's eye, it seems so peaceful (except when you're trying to land in NYC). Good luck with the business and as always, thanks for sharing a part of your life.
also for any aspiring IFR pilots watching videos like this will be a HUGE help for you to learn radio calls and the flow of ATC, I was suppose to start with a regional airline 5 May but Covid killed that so now I sit at a desk doing business development and mentoring for companies.
You make flying these ILS approaches look so easy! I was stressed for you going into Teterboro a very busy place! Enjoy your channel and envy you're lifestyle! I often wonder what type of business you're in or what products you sell. Thanks for the videos keep up the great work! always excellent camera and editing work!
amazing video it just shows when the clouds are going over you it make you feel like the plane is turning very disorientating or could be i cant believe how much you get out of her brilliant aircraft and pilot . hope you get cirrus to fix that static ha
What beautiful shots of my 2 airports, KDTW, (Detroit Metro) and my favorite KDET,(Detroit City). City is about 10 min from my house. It was nice seeing Belle Isle from the air again too, that's was the island on the right as you passed downtown. Thank You for taking the time to make these videos for us!!! Be Safe!!!
GREAT VIDEO Niko. I hope your meeting were good. I am sure with the events of the world today. It is making in hard for all businesses. Keep up the good work.
I'm just a schmuck at home on my computer, and that ATC call, before your wheels even kissed the ground, was a distraction to me! Can't imagine how jarring and out of place it was for you. We know you ATC boys and girls are busy beavers, but land the man land!
I'm not sure if you're a COPA member, but Bill Frank has an excellent article in the April 2020 COPA magazine on high speed approaches in the Cirrus. He ended up getting vectored around for 25-30 minutes at a busy airport because he couldn't maintain the speeds ATC wanted for an approach. His technique was born out of this frustration. I found the article very helpful and plan to try it myself the next time I go up, for these exact situations.
Niko, you make it look easy. You're a great inspiration to all GA pilots, me included. I would love to give you a shout out over the comms someday. Keep the video's coming. 🤙👍
Flew into and out of that airport many times when SWA used Detroit City as an airport. The furthest they could go to is STL because of weight restrictions 17:13 a Lockheed Wow
Fantastic video and I have to say you did a great job flying into New York, it’s not always an easy place to operate in and out of. Keep up the great work and stay safe!
Jeez, single engine single pilot and under IFR rules through this part of America takes something. Luckily the weather wasn’t playing dirty tricks. Great job Niko! You deserve a triple thumbs up!
I did the Chicago skyline on a disco out of Schaumburg. Crossed mid field at Pwk. It can get choppy over the skyline with the buildings. Its always so cool to watch O’Hare and Midway come in just above you. Thanks for making quality videos for quarantine!
I've always wanted to fly, I'm close to being able to solo but I farm and its hard to find time to finish up. Right now these videos are as close as I can get. Can't wait for the next one!
delighted to have the chance on this beautiful Sunday to watch such amazing content. always looking forward to enjoy such a great flight virtually. Transitions are amazing camera angles perfect rotation and landing.
When in the NYC area, the Doubletree @ Fort Lee, NJ is first Class with frequent shuttles over GWB to Manhattan Hilton. Detroit to NYC -2 hours by Cirrus, 10 hours by car.
Another great video... I am based in NYC area and they definitely prefer high speed approaches... In fact, there was a great article about this topic in the COPA magazine. You handled it well.
I see flying is just as stressful as driving in that area! BUSY! I avoid it whenever possible, which thankfully for me ... is always. 😂 Anyway, thanks for sharing, Niko. Great shots and audio as always!
If you ever make it back to Northwest Arkansas, I suggest landing in Bentonville (KVBT). They have a very nice restaurant with a large indoor hanger with various planes on display. No ILS approach, but most of the time the weather here doesn’t necessitate an ILS approach, and the GPS approaches are more than adequate.
Welcome to New Jersey! So nice to see you flying over my regular stomping grounds. KTEB is not a happy place for piston singles, there are definitely better options for your next NYC trip as others have already suggested.
Got my first flying lesson at Teterboro back in Feb.68. Very different back then. Lots of flight training from several schools. No real controlled airspace other than the immediate area around the big airports. Flights up and down the Hudson River with very little, if any, radio communications with anyone. Kind of like the Wild West back then but even then as now aviation was and still is a small community where people know people or know of people. About three years ago I visited with a couple that were building an aircraft right across from my hangar in Naples Florida. An older gentleman that had been helping them asked where I was from and I said I grew up in New York but learned to fly out of Teterboro. He said he use to flight instruct out of there. When he told me his first name I provided his sir name. He was my first flight instructor from 1968! Talk about a small world!!
I learned my PPL in that area. First intro flight out of Princeton Airport, then years later, PPL at Linden (KLDJ) 3 mi from Newark Intl. you want a challenge? Try learning there haha.. No tower at KLDJ, helicopter traffic in and out all day (news crew) and dealing with KEWR appr and departures.. better listen up and listen fast, else... you’ll get a severe tongue lashing from controllers and/or call request.. it’s crazy and I loved every minute. Also, ZERO options coming out of Linden.. loose an engine and eat a warehouse, train tracks or traffic on Rt. 9. I went 7600 (elect failure) coming out of Linden.. had to scud the NJ turnpike to stay out of Bravo. Made it back home by dusk. Good times!
Niko I love your videos. Top Notch brother! I’m a NYer and you’re not kidding, everything in NY is expensive.. lol! BTW Thanks for coming. Your my favorite channel for sure! Can’t wait for the next video. You inspire many always great quality videos. Keep up the great work! You Sir are G.A. Ambassador. 🇺🇸👍🏼
I think it would be cool if you would do a video showing all that goes into an overnight flight! The info could help. Like the reservations and accommodations, with fuel and all. almost like this one but all in one video showing the res. And acc. With the flights connecting it all. And I love the videos. Especially the statue of liberty video! Thank you
Great flights and great video as usual! I'm working to build my business for several reasons, but one big reason is to justify buying an airplane to fly for the business. Keep up the great work, it's inspiring!

Happy Anniversary guys! Comment Pinned! Congrats and many many more... 🍾🎉💯🥂
Wishing you a very Happy Anniversary Daylan and Adryanna! I hope you two had an awesome day despite the circumstances!
Happy Anniversary and best wishes for many, many more!
Congratulations you two on one year! Hope for many more to come!
Happy Anniversary! 🍾🎉
I have to say, as a salesman myself, you are living the dream. Building your business with an airplane. Truly inspirational, I hope to meet one day. Safe travels.
The speed of communication gets progressively faster the closer you get to NYC airspace :). Thanks for sharing the experience.
I think that might’ve been the first time I’ve seen somebody give taxi instructions before you even landed the plane. Great job!
Yeah that rubbed me the wrong way as an FAA employee.
From personal GA experience flying in NY is a very stressful thing to do. Especially when learning how to fly out of KFRG for private and instrument. Glad that you were able to fly into one of our busiest airports!!

Love how you’re still in the flair and he wants you to clear at Charlie! I always go,to Meridian, they treat the piston drivers well!

Always a good ride with you. Detroit my old stomping grounds when in college. 66 thru 70. Yep I'm old!!!. Stay safe get some rest. Gus
Teterboro is a busy little airport in a very busy airspace and gets interesting when they vector to the 06 approach circle to land 01. Fun town NJ
Awesome flight Niko! I appreciate your professionalism and skills. Thank you for taking the time to produce these videos. Great flight,
John Lia, X49 South Lakeland FL.
Another great video. Loved the busy approach into NJ
Niko your a beast! That’s slang for you’re an excellent pilot that put in hours like a commercial pilot.
Another awesome video Niko. I admire you're business endeavors and understand the hard work you put in to make it happen. Flying is a passion but also a necessity for your business. NYC sounded busy as I would expect.

I flew into Teterboro, was exetremly busy and very stressful, especially when your flying single pilot. Great job piloting and on the video content.
Hey there I like your videos
@@NikosWings Thanks Niko for letting me know.
Wow! A Lockheed Jetstar as you turned into Meridian. Don't see those very often anymore.
GREAT VIDEO Niko. I hope your meeting were good. I am sure with the events of the world today. It is making in hard for all businesses. Keep up the good work.
muy bueno ,espero esas gorras parecen muy lindas ,gracias desde Argentina
I'm just a schmuck at home on my computer, and that ATC call, before your wheels even kissed the ground, was a distraction to me! Can't imagine how jarring and out of place it was for you.
We know you ATC boys and girls are busy beavers, but land the man land!
Another great video! I learn quite a lot watching your flights! Thank you neighbor!
Good to see you up and flying again!

I have flown with Bill he is an amazing instructor and an educator. I’ll look for his article. I have a video from CPPP a couple years ago.
I would love to fly over downtown Detroit. Very cool
Great flight and views, thanks Niko, stay safe and well.
Niko, you make it look easy. You're a great inspiration to all GA pilots, me included. I would love to give you a shout out over the comms someday. Keep the video's coming. 🤙👍
It was great to see you fly into Detroit City Airport. I’m about 14 miles north of that. Awesome video and glad you had a smooth flight sir.
Flew into and out of that airport many times when SWA used Detroit City as an airport. The furthest they could go to is STL because of weight restrictions 17:13 a Lockheed Wow
Interesting fact which makes sense, runway was too short.
Glad you had a safe but busy flight (at the end). Enjoyed the video. Take care be safe. 'Spin'
Nice to see you using airports I’ve been to. Detroit City is where I Started my flight training back in 1999.
Took my first lesson at KDET 30+ years ago. Great memories. Another great video! Thanks.
Thank you so much for sharing.
Niko, great video as usual. Like that you include the full clearance for us. It is great practice to plug it into ForeFlight.
Flew right over Comerica Park and Ford Field. Nice!!!
Welcome to my neck of the woods! 6:29 my house is just to the left out of frame there by Detroit Metro.
Thank you for another great video. Stay safe and well. Good business to you, and thnx again!
awesome video as always Niko. Living my dream and I continue to live it through your video's . Hope you and the family are doing well and safe.
Long and kinda stressful day for sure. ATC a litle to quick when you haven't hardly touched down yet. Well done. Stay safe and healthy.
Well, not bad, 2:20 hrs by plane for a 9 hrs drive. Niko, with each new flight you improve your skills. Congratulations!
You flew over the water gap and lake hopatcong! Really beautiful places to fly by. Glad you got to make it up here. Great video!
Another great video! Thanks for taking us out east Niko!
Welcome ,I learned to fly at city air port, after 30 yrs off I am back flying and enjoy your videos
Thanks Regards Steve B
Wow Niko, another gorgeous video! It's always great to see a new one drop! Stay safe!
As usual good stuff watching from Boise Idaho not much GA traffic here not like when I was living near Camarillo airport missing the Way Point Cafe.
Subscribed for your amazing hair, stayed for the sweet flights! :)
Such a beautiful plane thanks for sharing
Nice job! Always enjoy your videos👍
As always...very good videos!!!
Welcome to Canada, stay safe
Nice adventure Niko. Great city skyline scenery too 👍
I did the Chicago skyline on a disco out of Schaumburg. Crossed mid field at Pwk. It can get choppy over the skyline with the buildings. Its always so cool to watch O’Hare and Midway come in just above you. Thanks for making quality videos for quarantine!
Yup when wind comes from the West the skyline will give you a bumpy ride below 2000 feet.
I've always wanted to fly, I'm close to being able to solo but I farm and its hard to find time to finish up. Right now these videos are as close as I can get. Can't wait for the next one!
@camo master Two words: agricultural aviation 😎
delighted to have the chance on this beautiful Sunday to watch such amazing content. always looking forward to enjoy such a great flight virtually. Transitions are amazing camera angles perfect rotation and landing.
Always love watching your stuff. cant wait for more.
Thanks for posting!! Life seems somewhat normal with a new Niko video 🙂
Great program. Love your style and coverages

Great video as always Niko! Incredible how much traffic on your tail when your on short final at 90kts.
Love the content! Awesome flying!
Shout out to my home town Erie, PA, Presque Isle and KERI at 12:38!!!
Nice flight, thanks for keeping it real!
Really enjoy all of your videos pal! I just picked up a 22 and your video really helps with planning cross country trips :) ✌️
Congrats on your purchase
Nice flight Nikko... them New York controllers love to talk fast, eh? Hope you enjoyed The Big Apple. Fly safe and fly often!
We use meridian anytime we go to Teterboro. Always have great service!
I see flying is just as stressful as driving in that area! BUSY! I avoid it whenever possible, which thankfully for me ... is always. 😂 Anyway, thanks for sharing, Niko. Great shots and audio as always!

Awesome! I am from near Detroit. Detroit Metro is a beautiful airport. I am currently working on my PPL and would love to hop into that aircraft haha.
Welcome to New Jersey! So nice to see you flying over my regular stomping grounds. KTEB is not a happy place for piston singles, there are definitely better options for your next NYC trip as others have already suggested.
Great video. Thanks. I like that you are not a full time blogger and run a business, like Greg of Premium one Driver. Stay safe
Nice job, Nikko.... landing TEB is tricky for the first couple times with the mandatory altitudes on both the approach, and departure.
Tried copying clearances but missed a fix and an altitude. Not bad
Awesome video thanks Niko
Great video thank you
Another awesome video Niko I always look forward to your videos
Excellent, as usual, thanks Niko!
Always enjoy watching your videos Niko. Stay safe.
Great job dealing with all the pressure form ATC.

Great flights and great video as usual! I'm working to build my business for several reasons, but one big reason is to justify buying an airplane to fly for the business. Keep up the great work, it's inspiring!
Great idea and goal.
