+Snail Man I'd agree with you it's just I felt his harsh vocals were sort of getting weak towards the clear era, but glad to hear he still puts on a performance. Honestly he wouldn't frighten me being a metal vocalist myself , but if I woke up with massive morning wood I'd know who to blame.
To be fair, lots of their vids are counted individually by region. lots of their videos have different view counts depending on your country, so a video you watch of periphery on one continent is has a separate view count from another continent. So they actually have more international attention than you would think.
+Tarkess if you own the hard copy and play this song full blast in your car you will hear things you probably didn't hear on youtube. The quality of the track and the record in general is SOOO much better and sounds much more dynamic. I picked it up today two cities away from my home. So worth it the drive home was phenomenal. The videos on here don't do it justice, but then again it's all my opinion.
I just sat through a clinic with Mark yesterday and he said they aren't planning on picking up another bassist. They're just gonna roll with Nolly's backing tracks like they did here.
He is no longer a touring member of the band. I figure it has to do with the fact he got married recently and alsoto focus on his producer career. He is still a studio member of the band.
Download was his last show. He's focusing on his marriage and business now but is still a studio member of the band producing, writing, and recording bass
+molecaat last year they started putting cabs on the sides of the stage plus there is a drum kit. Even if there is no stage volume it is still bad for your ears to not have both in as only one ear is receiving sound from the music, which can make your hearing uneven, and if they are using a stereo mix he isn't hearing everything that is being played, which is more of a performance concern rather than health
Always bitching about tracks, man. Whats your deal? ... most people don't understand how standard practice its become and yes they have always backed certain vocal parts live. not because spencer can't do it but more so he has time to catch his breath. jake is still doing most of the backing vocals.
This song was just nominated for Best Metal Performance... I'd say thats pretty good attention.
Spencer's harsh vocals are great here
They are great ANYWHERE. Dude imagine waking up to him screaming at you to wake the fuck up XD

i really think this band is not getting the attention they deserve... a group filled with talent
There pretty big considering the genre of music they play
i don't think so though. non of their vids have atleast 2mill views
musicians of this caliber should be getting paid more than what they are now.

they kinda are well known cos they invented the Djent movement
Misha with the emo kid hair...
I know..... the fuck is that about?
lmao I was just about to comment on that. Jesus
He stole the hairstyle of the Indian guy in Scott Pilgrim
call it what you want. but i think misha found his thing
"djent is not just a faze mom"
As a bassist I was really looking forward to meeting Nolly with Periphery in August. Guess that dreams over...
ikr :(
And now he left the band
Blessed is the soul at 2:27 that said "hey man, get this."
I'm just gonna say this. They killed this song live. And it'll only get better over time.
I'm not the biggest fan of this song but it seems very fitting for pumping the crowd up live.
Tarkess I feel like this song is amazing. Especially live.

Mark is turning into a solid lead player. I like.
He's always been a solid lead player. Just look at songs like Bad Thing and Scarlet
turning? he has been one of the most unique guitarists in prog metal for some years now!
I meant specifically for lead playing, he's gotten alot more technical; his solos are harder to play. But yeah he's always been good.
2:26 the moment the cameraman realizes that it's not Misha playing the solo lmfao
Spencer is really starting to remind me of Greg Puciato a bit, I like it!
Dude, had the same thought when watching this. I love it.
How can this band be so good live I don't get it. They're almost flawless here.
Wow Spenser actually sounded like the album this time
Spencer has gotten a lot better live over the years. Can't wait to see them on tour!
You can tell they love their parts in this song by their body language when they play it. And Spencer nailed it
Misha's hair looks funny xD. It reminds me of Matthew Patel from Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
emo misha is everything
Marks expressions are priceless
Spencer is the most underrated vocalist in metal
Misha's silverburst seven string is my favourite of his, so classy.
Wow, Spencer... Damn amazing
Just so good!
Y love how thet have the tracklist glued to Matt's drumkit lol
how is mark so god damn cool
this is amazing
Incredible band!
Misha's hair lmao
Wonder if they'll have Jeff Holcomb play bass on tour with them now or if they'll get someone else since he's doing the light shows backstage.
I just sat through a clinic with Mark yesterday and he said they aren't planning on picking up another bassist. They're just gonna roll with Nolly's backing tracks like they did here.
Mark looks like Orlando Bloom here. lol
that sounds so fucking good for a live show
Damn Spencer was on fire
Matthew Patel on guitar stage right
ayy lmao
Man, it makes me sad not to see Nolly on stage. I'm glad he's doing him and doing well, though. That man is my hero.
Badass!
3 guitarist's. wow.
Be welcome young peripheral.
the best..
holy fuck did they kill it, amazing show!
Jake has one badass alpha beard - mad props!
Matt always looks like he's trying really hard to play well, but he clearly fucking loves it!
Glad tuh see Spencers screaming growph for live as He ist ownin his newer more shoutiyer screamins.
if you look very closely at 0:59 there is a guy with his hands on his head in the crowd, i bet he was like "jesus fuck, my brain is melting"
Where is Nolly?
He is no longer a touring member of the band. I figure it has to do with the fact he got married recently and alsoto focus on his producer career. He is still a studio member of the band.
So no bassist live? I hope he gets back.
He just left recently, I'm thinking they might have a touring bassist by the time they do their US tour, but I could be wrong.
+Ícaro Paiva He did play at the Download festival I believe. That might have been his last show though.
He only left as a touring member. He will still play on the next studio releases.
Wow sponce is getting better, so sad Nolly is not with Periphery anymore.
Wasn't really fond of this song, but it's extremely hype live.
Where was Adam Getgood??
Is that scream playback i hear at 0:24?
Where's Nolly?
0:25 what happened?? Anyone??
he didnt play, it wasnt said why
Download was his last show. He's focusing on his marriage and business now but is still a studio member of the band producing, writing, and recording bass
Hardly falling apart. Nolly is still part of it, just not live!
What the fuck are you talking about? lol
nolly doesnt tour with periphery anymore
+Jonny Glessner who plays bass for them though? do they backtrack it?
Vocal Cover! ua-cam.com/video/FD2zhex44E4/v-deo.html
Wtf Nolly where are u
spencer rules!
I miss Nolly. Makes the live situation look super weird haha. But I'm glad he's pursuing full time production.
liza minnelli is one of the guitar players for Periphery now ? wow
misha grew out his hair again?? niice
Wait, where is Nolly?
He doesn't tour with them anymore. He still works on albums in the studio and writes stuff with them, but he just doesn't tour
Do they not have a bassist?
Why they have their stuff on stage?!
Why, Misha?
This fucking emo style hahahah
I know, fuck. He looks ridiculous. Still dope band
Dat Silverburst Jackson tho
and nolly ?
dead rip
Misha my man did you lose a bet? Haha
is this the hardest band in existence?
No bass player but no? Where is Nolly?
Spencer really needs to put both sides of his in ears in or he is gonna mess up his hearing
The stage sound might actually not even be that loud though as they're playing in such open space
there's hardly any stage volume, they don't have amps on stage.
+molecaat also based on the concert I just went to, they now have 4 peavey 2x12 cabs that do run which was proved during the sound check.
Wow, Jake is looking a lot like his uncle, sans the really long hair. 😬
they’re not related by blood lmao
petrucci married into jake’s family
Spooky Stork Running Wild And? 🤨 They’re still family.
I was gonna ask... apparently everyone else did for me.
Marks faces
Pete Wentz got swole.
Can we give Jake's beard the attention it deserves? Jesus fuckity Christ.
Where the hell is the the BASSIST????
misha looks emo lol
wtf misha
WTF is wrong with misha´s hair.
Just let it grow naturally bro.
Backing vocal tracks....yikes.....
They've been using backing tracks since forever lol
+Tamerlan Respawn Not like this
Always bitching about tracks, man. Whats your deal? ... most people don't understand how standard practice its become and yes they have always backed certain vocal parts live. not because spencer can't do it but more so he has time to catch his breath. jake is still doing most of the backing vocals.
i understand completely. I've been in a band for 4 years as a vocalist and i would NEVER DO THAT
+Tony Maue maybe you should start? I've heard of periphery... never heard of your band, js
Where is Nolly?
