I was 16 years old when Lane Frost died, I am now 47 & Even after all this time, I cried seeing this again now, “ He could Ride, like no one ever saw” ✝️ 🙏🏻 “hero’s get remembered, but Legends NEVER Die”. R.I.P Lane Frost
RIp Lane. I'm not a bull rider but a regular country boy. Got a lot of respect for you. U were absolutely amazing brother!!
Are u his brother????????.??
100% agree with you Bradly
Yea I agree
man, i wish he didnt get up after he got his ribs broken on that. what i just said might sound bad but it couldve saved him, he was killed when he got up, took a few steps, and fell down. when he fell down, his ribs punctured his heart and lungs
If he didn’t get up his ribs would just be broken. And he got up took some steps and just fell?
I thought the bulls horn pierced his aorta artery
@@sloanpemberton When he got up his broken rib punctured his heart and killed him within a few steps. If he hadn't gotten up the medical team would have had almost no problem saving him. It's like when somebody breaks their spine and you can't move them because it could paralyze them.

@@joshdennis8841 yeah, u can see the tremendous amount of blood on the horns

RIP uncle Lane love your nephew Cody Lane Frost
I'm from Cheyenne - not sure if you know but this year Joe Frost is riding at Frontier Days in memory of Lane kgab.com/joe-frost-rides-in-memory-of-his-cousin-lane-at-cheyenne-frontier-days/
Was this the bull that killed him?
Bradly Sargent yes
@bradley Sargent the bull was taking car of business
@@whiteboi_9990 damn shame. This guy could ride!
Me and a lot of my buddy’s bull ride and stuff like this is a constant reminder of the dangers of it
I'm named after Lane Frost, I don't know much about him except that he was a great bull rider and gave his life for that dream of being a famous bull rider and I want to be like him, risking my life for what I love.
Same!
My parents named me after lane, wish I could’ve met him
Same!
Me too!
Oh holy shit. Clearly a horrific accident unintended on the part of the animal. Tragic. What incredible skill exhibited by that young man. Such a loss.
I got the honor to watch Josh Frost ride a bull last night and it was utterly amazing. He’s just as good of a rider as his dad use to be.. rest easy Lane...
Josh Frost is a cousin of the late Lane Frost. Likely being great at riding bull ran in their family. Lane and his wife had no children together at the time of his death..
Greatest of all time
I still remember watching this live days after I turned 17 and living in OKC and looking up to Lane Frost as someone I wanted to be like.
R.I.P Lane
July 30 2020
If only he hadn't have stood up, he might have still been here. I guess it was just his time to be called home.
He was a legend and still is
Lane Frost was the greatest bull rider of all. He was portrayed in the movie "8 Seconds" and died tragically in the arena in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1989. This is his 'last ride' that I set to 'Amazing Grace'.
Thank you, for showing this. He was an amazing rider, and a great guy. Thank you for keeping his spirit living. R.I.P Lane Frost.
I am from Germany and I went there in July 1989 to see him. What I saw, was his demise . It was one of the hardest days in my life. I will never forget him ever.
@Der Volkstribun are you for real?
Im watching 8 seconds now, great movie about a great man.
Rest In Peace Lane
It took alot of courage to do what you have done and you accomplished it with style my friend you will be forever missed ❤

He died doing what he loved he was the greatest bull rider of all time. He didn’t need to die. I wanted to be just like him. Miss you Lane
The greatest of them all, Lane Frost
Even J.B would deny that statement. He is the everlasting king of bullriders.
Parents named me after this man
I've been watching a lot of PBR lately and the bullfighters have became just as mean as the bulls !!! Exactly what had to happen for the tragedy not to happen again... R.I.P. LANE FROST
I was a bullfighter(rodeo clown) for a local circuit in Texas in my younger days. What the bullfighters do nowadays is insane!!
what I would give to be able to do that in a competition setting and be young again!
When I saw 8 second's I cried R.I.P Lane😢
Rip I am his favorite fan I love rest in Pearce 💔😞 love u so much !
My middle name's Lane I'm named after Lane Frost I remember watch a movie about Lane Frost's life I can't remember the name of the movie I want my daddy told me about him is that he was an amazing bull rider and even better person rest in peace Lane Frost
It's called 8 seconds starring Luke Perry
Loved it
Love frost
6 years ago but a legend
It was tragic what happened to Lane Frost. Unfortunately, when you're a bull rider, you have to be prepared for things like that.. it wasn't the first time a bull had hurt him.. the tragedy is that the blow he received was a mortal wound.
Lane Frost, a champion in life...a champion in death!
Rest easy lane ridding bulls on that mountain
Lane frost was amazing red rock is such a gorgeous bull
zach cheek Red Rock was a gorgeous bull but that isn’t him. This was Takin’ Care of Business. Ironic name for a bull that took out one of the greatest bull riders to ever come into existence.
This is what happened, after his fall, the bull stabbed him in the ribs with his horn, fracturing ribs, but that did not kill him. When Lane stood up to ask for help, the broken ribs pierced his lungs and heart and that's what killed him. The bull wasn't put down, he was in a few more rodeos, then put to stud until he died.
And it was at that moment he knew...he fucked up.
Joey Fernandez YOU IDIOT!!!!!! PEOPLE LIKE YOU!!!!! THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Heatherlyn A actually, he was punctured in the heart
Heatherlyn A what does put to the stud mean
So what you are saying is that if he laid there without getting up.....he would have been living today?????
God made a fine one in Lane.
God bless from Farmersville Texas.
WT Hendrix but he was born and raised mostly in Utah sorry texas
logan ludvigson
Lane was an Okie
WT Hendrix moved to Oklahoma when he was 14
WT Hendrix YOU ARE CORRECT SIR. GOD DID MAKE A FINE LANE FROST. LANE WAS A VERY KIND, LOVING, CARING PERSON, HE LOVED HIS FANS. IT WANTS AN ACT IT WAS GENUINE.
RIP LANE
I remember my dad telling me the about the day that became his last and I hope he found Jesus in the heavens
It's sad but amazing
He was a legend
Lane Frost, the greatest bull rider ever!
We miss you Lane
Lane frost you will be away be remember because everyone will not for get you because you a true hero :)
Rip lane
He got what he asked for. That animal didn't ask for that. When you roll the dice sometimes that's what you get.

My dad used to ride bulls. My nana (his mom) finally told him to quit after he broke his arm after falling off.
My dad rode a bull once cause of his buddy and blow out his knee it got caught on the panel he didn’t tell his mom for 2 months after it happened he usually cut cattle but he tried something new and learned a valuable lesson
I have the movie on VHS an i could of sworn he said that cowboy has rode that bull for 92 points?.

Legend
Does anyone know if Audie Murphy knew Jesus like Lane Frost.
The movie makes me crie
You know that bulls killed more than one person but lane is the only one people actully know about
+Brent Myslive They killed themselves, They put their own lives on the backs of angry bulls.
why sad music
"Amazing Grace" isn't a sad song....
he died when he stood up, his broken rib from the horn of the bull cut his artery so sad music bc he died lol
My first name is that of my grandfather who died in WW1 - my second name is that of my mothers brother - my uncle who died in WW2 - riding bulls and getting killed is just stupid, Going to war and dying is a tragedy ,
Exactly what point are you trying to make with your calloused and inappropriate remark, aside from the fact that you are a jerk? Your heroic grandfather and uncle would be ashamed, for sure.
1:59 at this moment he knew ... he fucked up
The day rodeo died.....
Adrian Miller agreed
Korn brought me here 😢
that s bullring
Quit tying ropes to an animals balls, poking it with electric tazers, and spurring it into aggression then jumping on it's back.
RIP Mr. Frost
@Callan Clawson That is not very christian of you, how disrespectful.
