I tried to root my device by following the steps in this. At the 9:15 mark, after flashing the Magisk boot to the device, I mistakenly turned on the device instead of rebooting to recovery mode. When I realized the mistake, I turned off the device, went into recovery mode, and followed the steps in the video. However, Magisk did not prompt me for the required additional setup. So, I redid the step at 9:15, where I flashed back my original PDA firmware file, then flashed the Magisk boot. This time, I got a "wrong binary" error in download mode. I need help solving this problem, as I am really stuck right now.

same problem and once reinstalled and launched (did not ask for reboot like in the video) it in my M13 it is showing " Installed = N/A" at the top of "Magisk"
After I create the patched install file from the AP file, I installed it as you did in via Odin at 7:40. But after it was installed my device goes into system dumping mode, it keeps turning on and off. This was the correct AP file for after all that I went back to download mode and was able to install the stock firmware.

you need to go back to the blue screen, then press the up volume key (Continue), for it to install the new operating system. Then click Start again on the Odin window

With the samfw I have all the files except cp_ one do I need it? Because after I put magisk in and reset my tab magisk was no longer on my tab so I’m assuming it’s because of the cp_ file missing
You have a WiFi Only version of the Tablet. It does not have a radio/modem installed by default. So the firmware will not have the Cell Processor file. You should therefore leave the CP field empty. I was just able to follow the guide with success on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7. Also checked installing APK's with no problems.
i'm getting stuck at Odin. Always get the message SetupConnection then Complete(write) operation failed. i can see the device is connected in odin (blue 0:com6) using a Tab A8 sm-x200

it stays, this is not the kind of data reset you think it is. many downloaded files stay as well

its just same as the first one press volume up and down at the same time watch carefully
you can watch it again so no problem watch it again and again so you can understand what is happening so theres low chance of bricking you phone or tab.
