    If you're practicing this move, make sure the obstacle on which you do it is high enough off the ground. I tried to do it on a fairly low obstacle, and my body didn't have enough time to rotate before my feet hit the ground. I broke my leg in three places.

    Learned this move just today by just deciding to try it out of the blue...and I came back to this video...

    Yeah man, it's a lot easier to make videos when my back isn't hurting so much that I can barely walk with out being in pain.

    There's so much overlapping between parkour and free running I don't think it's a big deal. It really comes down to mindset. The terms just help determine what mindset someone is in when they are training otherwise there are a lot of moves that can be categorized as both parkour and free running. Are you practicing for efficiency or aesthetics? It doesn't really matter, so long as you are safe and enjoy doing it.

    This video is very helpful! I've been practicing and I got it down fairly quickly. All I need now is to perfect it and it might become my favorite vault. I'm an amature at pk still learning basic moves but having this in my arsenal makes me feel fancy.

    I don't have any gyms around my area, or a good environment for parkour, and I really want to start practicing parkour! Also, I am very achy (it might be growing pains, I'm rather young). And these pains make it harder to do much of anything!

    • @theshepardofslings3089
      @theshepardofslings3089 6 місяців тому

      Take my advice just find a fence or park bench or low wall whatever and just learn some basic vaults. Once you learn some vaults some precisions and other stuff you will soon start seeing spots easier. You might not ever get as much out of it as someone in a huge city but even in my home town which is really small I still find good spots some times. Unless what you mean by bad environment is unsafe in which case just listen to whatever your parents say. There's also other extreme sports out there if you want.

    • @theshepardofslings3089
      @theshepardofslings3089 6 місяців тому

      Also look up mo key parkour it is a good style for bad spots

    • @yungkev4661
      @yungkev4661 4 роки тому +1

      Welp I'm not ronny but Ive practiced parkour for lots of years now so I'd recommend starting by the.... Lemme just enumerate them
      1. Safety Vault
      2. Speed Vault
      3. Lazy Vault
      4. Dash Vault
      5. Kong Vault
      Once you know those, future vaults will be easier to learn. Hope I helped
