If you sent the threading step over a lot bigger than 1/3 if doing 3 passes. I.e. if pitch offset was 1 then you use .333, but if you use .666 then the 1st pass will be bigger and the next 2 that higher engagement will be smaller. Also I find it more consistent to do a repeat pass.

I know your not at a complete case yet, but how long do you think a full prototype will take to mill ?
