Lord Jesus I seek you everyday. I need you to give me sign that you hear my prayers. I put my children first, no matter how tired I am. I need you to give me the strength to keep going. Both of my sons are autistic and I struggle desperately trying my best to support them as a single mom. I’m homeschooling them so my hours to work are limited. Lord as I struggle to pay rent and as I struggle to buy groceries please continue to give me strength.

I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior at 13. When I was 17, the axel of the old car I was driving broke. I was going too fast down an old icy road. The car flipped several times and finally stopped in a snowbank on the side of the road. I didn't hit anyone, and no one was hurt - including me. All I had was a scratch on the side of my head, near my temple. I got to grow up and not to exceed the speed limit ever again. It was my Lord and Savior JESUS who protected me and everybody! This forces us to come to grips with the word “soon.” We tend to think of “soon” with immediacy. Clearly, “soon” to Jesus is different from “soon” to us.
