NGL this would be cool for the Firebrand chapter, given how each of the chapters share a theme. Prolouge seems like something out of the early start of earthbound and paper mario 64, Ch 1 is snow themed, Ch 2 is jungle themed and Ch 3 is Halloween/Horror themed. Willing to bet 4 could be desert/western themed, since the revolver and lasso would fit well in the western setting, acting less as DLC and more rather as optional weaponry to buy for a good amount of Tix, both act as alternatives similar to the Rocket Launcher and Slingshot, the main mechanics are as shown on the video.
It would be a nice thing to have the Mauser .96 as a sidegrade to the revolver: Stats: - fires more rounds than the revolver - each shot deals half the damage of the revolver - ten round magazine - able to shoot other enemies if the current target is dead - reload and firing uses 20% or 1/3rd more SP than the revolver Skills: - Action: China/Warlord style, User aims gun sideways and shoot all enemies(5 SP) - Passive: Carbine mode, Can now do more precise shots(4 SP) or go full auto(6 SP).

this is an amazing suggestion, everything is perfect besides one thing, the quick time event. I feel like it sould be different because its already being used for slingshot and dynamite and it just feels off for a gun. i have a suggestion for the event for it and here it is: its bassicly 6 slots in the revolver and it will spin and you can miss, so bassicly you have to perfectly fit the bullets into the holes in the revolver. It will also speed up the more times it circles around (edit): why th is everyone typing uty?
So if I'm correct, when you miss, the amount of bullets you load into the chamber will be fired during the fan? I think I like that! It's a good skill check too (if our eyes and mind can keep up.)

Considering how you wouldn’t really be able to reload it very easily, much less spray, I feel like this would come with some benefits and some drawbacks. Firing uses a bullet from whichever revolver is fuller. Max Ammo is 12 (6 in each). Reload now costs 1 SP, but reloads one bullet in each revolver. Full Reload only reloads one Revolver, whichever is emptier. You can now spend 2 SP to fire both revolvers at once. You can only Fan one revolver, whichever has more bullets, but this means you are no longer defenseless afterward. The 1 turn cooldown still applies.
I think a gambling luck based playstyle for this weapon would be very cool. Maybe certain cards could load different ammo types into the chamber. And each shot would pick a random bullet from the chamber.

nice concept! i have my own concept that links with a trowel concept video! A concept for an upgrade to the dynamite: subspace tripmine! Description: You have a subspace tripmine! This granst +3 ATK out of battle, and allows you to explode metal bars! Extra for the description (might not be in the description due to what it does in battle): On top of that, your dynamite is stronger! Out of battle: Grants +3 ATK and can explode metal bars. (This can be used within a radius of 2.5 studs, or 5 studs in diameter) In battle: Costs 7 SP, action command similar to the slingshot and dynamite action command, if fully completed deals 7 base damage adding on the additional ATK modifiers and card buffs and debuffs, this breaks defence, but deals halved damage rounded up to allies and the player which uses it. Damage caused to allies can be countered with the use of the trowel! P.S: There is a concept video for block tales showcasing the trowel, so i will not be stating anything for the trowel as of the video. Badges obtainable with this: Bawled Out Of Jail! (can be obtained by using the subspace tripmine on the iron bars in the Blackrock Castle prison), Ruined The Concert!? Should probably be allowed to choose how many coins to throw, with max of 4, and a QTE which if you complete perfectly, hits 2 enemies at once (2nd shot automatically targets closest enemy to the enemy you initially targeted, prioritizing left over right (closer to you), and if only 1 enemy left it simply won't do 2nd shot either way). Perhaps throwing a coin should cost 1 tix each, kinda realistic?

This is incredibly balanced and interesting! You really understood how a game works. Only thing I'd personally maybe change is make the reload cost 1 SP but have a chance reload twice, start with 8 bullets and possibly, although not even mentioned in the vid, make the damage 2 for each bullet.

Cool idea! Although instead of the "dynamite" clicking for it, I think it could be quite cool if you had to play a minigame similar to the sword: where it puts 6 different ticks on a bar, and you have to click each one (where an automatically moving bar would go right quickly)

I have a better idea for the revolver Revolver: Description: Damage scales based on how much hp the enemy has. It can deal up to 1.5-5 damage per shot. Damage is rounded up. (Penetrates 1 DEF and replaces sword.) -Each battle you start off with 3 ammo (ammo does not save after battle) -Has 6 ammo capacity. reloading gives 1 ammo but it uses up 1 sp. -it will shoot 1 times if the bar is empty. (it takes about 5 clicks to put one ammo, you get 3 second to charge the bar up.) If the bar is full, you can shoot up to 3 times. Damage scale system: 3 damage if enemy has higher than 10 HP 4 damage if higher than 15 HP 5 damage if higher than 20 HP Example: If the enemy has 20 HP, you deal 5 damage, the enemy has now 15 HP. revolver does less damage. (4) -Highest *minimum damage* cap: 3 (Rounded down) dmg -Highest *maximum damage* cap: 5 dmg -Amount of ammo when reloading is capped to 4 ammo. I can imagine this being in the game as a upgrade to the slingshot path for sword serving as a alternative to the slingshot. I can imagine it being able to break through defense unlike the slingshot but doing less damage and having a card that can let you shoot the opponents on screen randomly like that solitude attack with the balls falling from the sky (I think it was solitude??). Overall a really concept

Suggestion: keep all of it but when firing, it will show like the chamber where the bullets are held(idk what it's called) and basically it will spin and you gotta press space on the space with ammo in 2 or less spins or else you will miss your attack window, so basically at the start ur guaranteed to get a hit unless you don't press space, and the more you fire, the lesser the chance you get the hit. Spin speed: 0.5 second window per ammo space

Another concept called Ak57:obtained from defeating a terrorist who's searching for the kings treasure deals 1v damage and the amount of bullets scales how you press it in the duration of 0.5s
Very cool ammo mechanic, could probably have some sort of ammo types for it, similar types as super ball, except you need to load them, cuz you'll start the fight only with 6 normal bullets.
I actually had an idea similar to this before Maybe there could be a minigame where the revolver's chamber appears while spinning, and you would have to time out each hole being in the indicator located at the very top of the chamber
i think it would be better if it was a cosmetic reskin for the slingshot (like a card that changes the appearence of the weapon, along with sounds and anims), both weapons seems to act identical so.. yeah but neat concept anyway, i like!

i was gonna make it a 9mm bullet but i couldn't get it to look unique on the card design

Should probably be allowed to choose how many coins to throw, with max of 4, and a QTE which if you complete perfectly, hits 2 enemies at once (2nd shot automatically targets closest enemy to the enemy you initially targeted, prioritizing left over right (closer to you), and if only 1 enemy left it simply won't do 2nd shot either way).
Perhaps throwing a coin should cost 1 tix each, kinda realistic?
Instead Making Extra Damage do bullet Split between your target and other bullet will go to random target (that is next of it) incase only be 1 enemy will do extra dmg

This is incredibly balanced and interesting! You really understood how a game works. Only thing I'd personally maybe change is make the reload cost 1 SP but have a chance reload twice, start with 8 bullets and possibly, although not even mentioned in the vid, make the damage 2 for each bullet.
TBH I feel like the entire waste of a turn for ONE BULLET is enough of a balance
yeah and maybe idk make it do damage because 2 for each bullet is ridiculous, and starting with 8 kinda ruins the thing and also 1 sp per bullet is crazy expensive for a whopping 2 damage, the ball, sword, slingshot and rocket launcher do a lot better with no sp cost, without even mentioning the wasted turn, this balancing you proposed is crap

Cool idea! Although instead of the "dynamite" clicking for it, I think it could be quite cool if you had to play a minigame similar to the sword: where it puts 6 different ticks on a bar, and you have to click each one (where an automatically moving bar would go right quickly)
This idea is fire, however, I will always wonder when I can just punch enemies. I will tame them all with my fists!

I haven’t played block tales demo 3 yet AMD when I saw the thumbnail I was actually worried that I saw spoilers until I read the title! This is very well done
I picture the revolver being more of a armor penetration weapon (Something like how sword used to ignore all defense rather than half of it)
But it would only deal 2 (base, more with ante up and knight/baller) damage per shot and could only hit the enemy infront

Awesome!! 🤩, btw you could put some styles of Block Tales by reducing the FPS ( Frame Per Second ), if you're in Moon Animator 2, press 8 then you can set the FPS to 12, 16, or 24 in order to get the choppiness Block Tales have.
the way i did it was just inserting lots of key frames and then setting the easing style to none

I have a better idea for the revolver
Revolver:
Description: Damage scales based on how much hp the enemy has. It can deal up to 1.5-5 damage per shot. Damage is rounded up. (Penetrates 1 DEF and replaces sword.)
-Each battle you start off with 3 ammo (ammo does not save after battle)
-Has 6 ammo capacity. reloading gives 1 ammo but it uses up 1 sp.
-it will shoot 1 times if the bar is empty. (it takes about 5 clicks to put one ammo, you get 3 second to charge the bar up.) If the bar is full, you can shoot up to 3 times.
Damage scale system:
3 damage if enemy has higher than 10 HP
4 damage if higher than 15 HP
5 damage if higher than 20 HP
Example: If the enemy has 20 HP, you deal 5 damage, the enemy has now 15 HP. revolver does less damage. (4)
-Highest *minimum damage* cap: 3 (Rounded down) dmg
-Highest *maximum damage* cap: 5 dmg
-Amount of ammo when reloading is capped to 4 ammo.
Limited ammo: You have 18 ammo total before you ran out of ammo to reload.

I can imagine this being in the game as a upgrade to the slingshot path for sword serving as a alternative to the slingshot. I can imagine it being able to break through defense unlike the slingshot but doing less damage and having a card that can let you shoot the opponents on screen randomly like that solitude attack with the balls falling from the sky (I think it was solitude??). Overall a really concept

Suggestion: keep all of it but when firing, it will show like the chamber where the bullets are held(idk what it's called) and basically it will spin and you gotta press space on the space with ammo in 2 or less spins or else you will miss your attack window, so basically at the start ur guaranteed to get a hit unless you don't press space, and the more you fire, the lesser the chance you get the hit. Spin speed: 0.5 second window per ammo space

Ok heres a pretty freakin good idea on how you acquire this
So the next chapter is themed after spooky stuff
So maybe in this chapter the reoccurring enemy themes are like skeletons
and midway there should be a (optional? Mini? FINAL??) boss

so it is a reference to those badass skeleton memes from 2008
And after you defeat it -you commit school pew pewing- you get the revo
the next chapter after demo 3 is a desert themed chapter I think it's better to get it there

Railgun,how it work:
-it literally same as the launcher but more powerful(6 dmg)
-as u shoot u lose the railgun energy.(cost 7 sp to reload)
-u can only shoot 1 time.
The regular revolver shot should have a charge up like the sword where if charged successfully, either shoots two bullets, or deals an extra 1 or 2 damage
If you get baller and ante up. It’s already a revolver(with slingshot)

Very cool ammo mechanic, could probably have some sort of ammo types for it, similar types as super ball, except you need to load them, cuz you'll start the fight only with 6 normal bullets.

Maybe there could be a minigame where the revolver's chamber appears while spinning, and you would have to time out each hole being in the indicator located at the very top of the chamber
i think it would be better if it was a cosmetic reskin for the slingshot (like a card that changes the appearence of the weapon, along with sounds and anims), both weapons seems to act identical so.. yeah
but neat concept anyway, i like!
