I couldn't agree with you more about the horrid gun handling on T-72s... I remember OddBawz complaining about the M551 76 having slow elevation speed but the T-72s are literally way worse. I've died countless times (both TURMS and other variants) because the gun wasn't at the exact right elevation before going around a corner or something and having to wait half a second for the gun to go back up/down got me killed (going over even small bumps/ditches in the terrain is also a problem.) Also I never really thought of using the ESS that way, but it seems like it's a really good strategy! I might try using it soon, so thank you for making me aware of it.

I like how u have set up your playlist into countries, but would it be possible to set up a play list for top tier gameplay as well? Would make it much easier to find the gameplay so i can accelerate my learning. Keep up the great content.
Found you through odd, your skill and experience makes for good content. Can you play the prototype panther? Its the best panther imo since its significantly faster and the armor is still good, went 17-1 in a 6.7 match with it
The bad reverse and gun handling, make it a situational vehicle. Those diasdvantages make it hard to correct your mistakes. If you find yourself in bad position, you cannot reverse out and if you need to eliminate somebody quickly, you cannot aim at him quickly. It is similar to German vehicles, good firepower and armor, but unwieldy, so it is easy to catch them out and they cannot react quickly enough. It is apparent that design of all these vehicles is for fight at big distances in open areas. Not good for urban areas or uneven terrain and in War Thunder many cap points are in such areas, which people often gravitate towards.
@@Rosaslav yeah but those are WW2 tanks, aint nobody at 10.0 cares about those. Germany has some of the best high BR tanks starting from the Leopard 1, they take a dip with the Leo 2A4 at 10.7 because of constant uptiers and having only DM23 but after the A6 it dominates top tier, but all Leos have good mobility in common. Russia is better armored early on with the T72B & T72B 1989 at 10.0 with fewer uptiers but you will suffer instantly when facing DM33 & DM43 that can lolpen you through most places including the front plate, nevermind the mobility that never gets better even at 11.7 except with the T80s but those dont get the 3BM60 only the BVM and even if they get it the 3BM60 is nowhere near the best top rounds. All in all, in my experience the US & germany suffer between 9.0 and 10.7/11.0 but are very good prior & after that, russia is good until 10.0 and suffer after that, but if you grind trough their tec tree it makes every other nation except the british, italy & somewhat the french(who suffer troughout most BRs a lot), seem easy. Regarding the design, it should be also noted that modern MBTs are not singulary focused on fighting & protecting from other tanks, many of their other strenghts against infantry, mines & infantry AT weapons is not being relevant for the gameplay, wich means a pretty poor performing tank in WT still could be a good & versatile tank irl of course.
Personally as a person that has about 450 hours in this game that is split evenly between air and ground RB I love this thing. It’s my first top tier but I do have 8.0 in Germany. I absolutely love this tank and on my 3rd game I dropped my first nuke and compared to my friend that has 3.5k hours and is significantly better than me he hasn’t gotten a nuke yet. (Got this jon 2 hours ago)

winrate doesnt matter, low winrate doesnt make it ok for a vehicle to be under-br'd and OP. Winrates just show a POSSIBLE issue (not all issues are actually a game issue or need to be "fixed" and Gaijin doesnt understand that.)
I bought a ngl all premiums except the bmp for Russia, because I didn’t want to be a one leave wonder, I feel the frustration everyone talks about now that I play true high tier, I’m a GB main and it’s tough especially getting grouped with US. so I do it for all my fellow war thunder players. Also I understand leaving after one death too, maybe they don’t want to use their respawns that come with it (20) and if u get clapped in the beginning no one wants to use it. Idk I understand both views. Just wish maybe gajin would do like premium lobbies only or something of that sort.
Mandatory backs ups and have a premium come with like 50. If they leave after one life it should crew lock the tank. It’s a win win. They make more money and the premium players have to spawn twice.

@@dilldoe1991 It's a MUCH better round my man. Mango is long rod and does much more damage than 3BM22. Also thermals are great for spotting, increases the awareness by a lot. Don't undersell it. The only reason it's bad is because is being played by people that should be learning the basics yet.

I didn't buy the Turms as a new player but my winrate is 50%... I feel like anyone that fights a T-series knows how to fight them/what the weaknesses are.
You know you don't have to keep the enemy in the firewindow of your heli, you just have to shoot there in gunner mode (looking at the horizon instead of your target) and then start guiding the missile down to your target. That way you dont end up in the middle of the batlefield after 2 minutes of "aiming" aka, flying forwards.
Spend $50AUD on the pack to get this tank, I do regret it a little bit. I thought after 500 hours and 9.0 German tree I'd be ready to buy a premium and smash out another tree for some fun... Yeah I dont think this tank was a great idea. No depression, No armour, No reverse gear, The round seems to be average at best at this BR (Seems the opposite for others, My 360 ping seems to make it hard to be pin point accurate and actually pen) the gun handling is so poor it adds even more to my already poor ping issues, The chassis is so wide side scraping doesnt help you to fight, It feels like every tank that shoots at you is able to overpen you Definitely not my smartest purchase... But hey I finally got a premium?😅
Lots of people think that premium tanks are much better compared to non premium tanks which is not true, if you dont have map knowledge, routes where most people camp, enemy tank weak points, you will get destroyed easily no matter what tank you have, all tanks have good things and bad, turms t is low profile tank with 75 visibility, use it as advantage to bog somewhere and pick targets off, its turret is almost non penetrable, you have good dart with high speed will you pen someone is depending on angle of enemy, you have good zoom and thermals, i would suggest use this tank as sniper to pick people off, for example my one of most fave tanks are leopard 1a5 it has flaws also, 1 shot can pen you almost everywhere, have good speed, turret rotation, depression, but because 95% visibility i can be seen easier, so i use as sniper picking targets off distance, so yah your purchase is not bad believe me, because my other favourite tank is t72m1, basically same as turms but without thermals, good zoom, I would suggest for you to read guides how to play t72 variants on reddit to have clue what play style this tank fulfill, most modern tank gameplay consist of being like predator, waiting for tanks to come and than strike and reposition afterwards.
Yeah, turms is REALLY bad and not user friendly, i regret mine. I have almost 2.0 KD in KVT and pzb123 and 0.5 in turms, but people will still gaslight me by telling that turms is "good"
Well those are the main selling points of the turms. However you mustn’t forget how important a good round really is, especially seeing as the mango does have the tendency to do a ton of spalling. The armor might not be the best but it does do it’s job well considering that the other mbt’s woth darts and thermals as dangerous as this one are all 10.3 and higher. The only real drawback of theis tank when it comes to newer players would be the terrible reverse speed as that makes the tank very unforgiving of your map knowledge and awareness
@@nothisismine you're forgetting a thing, the zero armor best armor could work with a fast and mobile tank, but with the turms that have no mobility you are just a free kill if you face a decent player and you are forced to rely on you armour that is almost non existent, add to all this the 7.1 seconds

Hi. I have few words about this tank and this video. I bought this tank 2 years Ago so i have some expiriance. First of all this is only one ruzzian top MBT that You can penetrate by front armor. That means you probably wont survive any shot when you are 1on1 againts any tank on your BR. Even You killed only one Tank on higher Br (leo2a4) and you had over 20kills in those games. I could say more about only 3 crew members and slow reverse gear. This is the worst top premium vehicle in the Game and You didn’t change my mind. Much respect for your performance in this shitytank 🫡

Additional issue for top tier is players buying a single premium tank, dying and then just leaving the game instantly..

You have to train yourself to pre aim correctly before going around corners, this goes for any tank
