I really like this, it explains a lot of other SCPs and even tho I like the mystery most SCPs have, sometimes it's also good to have a definitive answer
I'd like to theorize that, since the Kaktusverse is already a jewel among universe building canons, djkaktus made this intentional. What I'm getting at is that Apollyon and Abaddon, despite their different etymologies, are the same title: "King over the Darkness", as who 4840-A (Seth) crowned in the early days. A call back to the Ouroborus cycle Part, the previous 05-1 mentions the Kingdom of Abaddon (a city-state of reality benders under the rule of their kingdom's namesake) to the Administrator, which lead to the creation of The Children being the answer to this new problem. Perhaps there really was a Kingdom of Abaddon, in the form of Audapaupadoapalis, and just like how a random area in the desert was obliterated as a demonstration for The Children's power, the true Kingdom of Abaddon was obliterated by the power of Demon Lancelot. Anyway, that's just my take on djkaktus incredible skip. And that concludes my TED talk. (P.S. It could also be that the KoA was Old Europe where the Sky-Kings of House Apollyon once stood, then razed by the fae folk, the Daevites, and the Children of the Night).
And Gilgamesh the champion of the cannibalistic female Daevites who pledged themselves to the Scarlet King. That conquered Jerusalem and beheaded the king of the House of Apollyon.

This is literally my new favorite scp. Hands down. I love the fact that it wraps together as much as it can in such a great way. I had never heard of this cannon before but it's definately my new favorite. This was a fucking phenomenal video.
To be honest i love these long videos, i wouldnt mind having hour long videos so i can listen to while i do work.
yep
Check out his Ouroboros Cycle sub-series
Same here! I listen to his videos whenever I work on something long and I just love the loads of SCP lore I learn from them
@@dustinsterling3248 i already have haha, in fact ive watched it 3 times over.
I agree. I work a graveyard shift and I save these to listen to through the night. Would love an hour long video.
I like how this one brings meaning to the entire SCP Universe.
I'd say the entity of ice and stone is "The Deer"...
You mean 2845? That....actually makes some sense in a way

I thought The Deer only came to Earth relatively recently, with The Foundation being who had to contain it when it fell from space.

This started out confusing and was a bit confusing until the details were laid out, but I quite liked this. djkaktus continues to amaze. I loved the music choices in this reading.
The world building and crossovers from this scp is insane.
Weird, I don't really have any cities out here in my forest
You sure 'bout that?

Seeing your picture of the Firekeeper from Dark Souls made me realize how amazing a game set in the SCP universe could be.
Yey he's back with an SCP Columbia by the looks of things.
Respect dude keep up the epic work 😃👍🏻⭐️.
I’ve been really excited for this one! I’ve been waiting for him to do 4840 the minute I first watched the 4812 video!

Gotta say this is my absolute favorite so far, haven’t been able to read many SCPs lately but I LOVE the cactusverse and I gotta say, as a narrator, you do NOt get enough recognition, you’re really giving me something to look forward to and inspire me, I hoped you’re doing well, keep up the amazing narrations!

So, until the next pole reversal basically, or ~250 thousand years...
In reality, every 13,000 years or so... Hence why we know nothing of our own history ;)
Or turn a sunrise into a sunset by reversing time for outside of a field. All that was said was "when the sun sets in the east", nothing said that time had to move forward.

Above the skies hidden within the clouds, the first city lies where men first gained knowledge and thrived. Where history of great tragedy and conflict began as great pure evil in the form of a crown of iron from the dark unknown brought destruction and bloodshed wherever it laid and to all who craved its power.
Now that all the grand players in the vast anomalous stage of the multiverse are coming together.....it is soon that the tree of knowledge and all the residents from different worlds , dimensions , realities and universes shall bare witness to the grandest act that all of creation and existence shall ever bear witness to.....
The curtain rises for the final act....the last war for existence begins .

I bought my last car from Dino.
Sounds like a sweet lady
You mean she doesn't have a nephew named Otto?
I wonder if the figure made of ice is, or is related to, SCP-2845, given the ring by its head is made with balls of ice. Perhaps this figure is The Deer's humanoid form or something.
As for the figure made of stars, it could be related to the Fifth Church given their affinity for stars.
the star entity could also be linked with the church of the second hyoth
at around 25:15 he lists the original residents and one of them was “the envoy from saturn” which sounds to me a lot like 2845. i think you’re onto something!
i mean good theory but sadly we now know that it’s titania, or at least probably her
Holy shit. This is the biggest crossover I've seen. And this coming from the SCP foundation.
You know it’s gonna be a good video when he starts off with the “the SCP universe is massive”
I really like this, it explains a lot of other SCPs and even tho I like the mystery most SCPs have, sometimes it's also good to have a definitive answer
Im digging this "kaktusverse" keep on keepin on!
Yeah, djkaktus scps are great
heard apollyon and could only think about the "when day breaks" 001 proposal
I didn’t even know this was just posted I just couldn’t sleep
I don't need sleep. I need answers
This is the best SCP video I've ever seen and I've seen A LOT lol. The background music is absolutely perfect.
really loving these longer videos, I look forward to your stuff every Monday always a treat!
Glad I caught you early for once. Watching while eating breakfast..
And I’m watching at 3:46 AM due to insomnia 😂
I see, a fellow 3:00 am viewer
SCP just went full Silmarillion.
Bish you love it.
This is a rollercoaster ride movie trilogy of pure awesomesauce.
"Dread sorcerer Noah" lmao.
Ancestor of Powerful Wizard Ruth Bader Ginsburg :D

And Gilgamesh the champion of the cannibalistic female Daevites who pledged themselves to the Scarlet King. That conquered Jerusalem and beheaded the king of the House of Apollyon.
@@thorshammer7883 It’s amazing how he managed to take numerous other religious/mythological figures and implement into this story somehow. It’s just incredible writing and I honestly would love to see djkaktus expand and reveal more about this ancient history and the many other civilizations that we’ve yet to hear of
"Who raised the sea to wipe out his enemies"
Whoa this is now my fave scp story. I want to learn about all the aspects and characters. Very epic.
I cannot wait for you to cover the sequel to this which is out as a 6000 contest entry “The Demon Hector and the Dread Titania”.
Its Howl and the flying castle.

Infinity war : I am the most ambitious crossover.
Scp 4840 : well yes , but no..
I read SCP 4840 a couple of weeks ago and found it very fascinating, thanks for further clarifying things even further. I hope the author continues to world build, there is still plenty of things in this SCP and Wrath to develop an expanded story. The ancient History of the SCP universe is just as bizarre as the present history.
Dude this is my religion now. 100% this makes perfect sense as a creation story
Three years later and I listen to this to go to sleep, TES has a good voice for sleep.
I am absolutely in love with this mythos. It is fucking AMAZING
Wow...The history being told by Seth all while he watches the carnage pass below him for millennia is truly tragic...As I'm sure many are saying in the comments, this truly feels like Dark Souls (and even Bloodborne) history, with the background music only adding to the feeling of decay within what was once good and great...
I guess "It is what it is" is the truest statement ever, at least in the SCP-Verse lol.
The quality of your narrations is without equal; you bring life to all of the various SCP universes. Thank you for preferring quality over quantity.
More, please. :)
I was wondering what became of the third son of Adam, and I understand why he blames himself.
This was a good story.
I didn’t want to make a comment, as the comments were at 682, but I’m sorry. I will.
This was great. I love hearing all this, especially ones like this. Everything being metaphorical but portrayed physical is so fun to try to understand.
I love this story. Every time I listen to it I feel like I learn or hear something I missed last time. Hopefully DJKaktus keeps writing cause I'm hooked on this s#%!.
P.S. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all.
I came back here AGAIN after his entry of scp-6666. Holy shit, this lore is outstanding....DJKaktus is unbelievably talented and the Exploring Series is the best channel for this to be revealed to us on UA-cam. Thank you both!
I've been waiting for this one! This ancient world history is so interesting, I hope you can cover the rest of it as it comes out.

Oh sweet, I've been meaning to get around to reading this SCP ever since he mentioned it in a different video, but every time I tried I would just get kinda lost. TES to the rescue!
If a comprehensive SCP anime is ever created with all the lore , mythos , GOIs and all the places in the multiverse.....it might very well be the best anime ever created . Just imagine the plot and thousands of connections with each charecters and mind blowing revelations ( for those who are not familiar with it ) in each turn.

What's crazy is, apollyon is of course 'the destroyer' yet the king named apollyon was a bringer of peace and he brought people together
Maybe in this world, the meaning of the name came after the acts of destruction
Maybe by peace, he destroys many, by first pretending to be a friend of the people.
I mean, look at Yahweh, from our own Abrahamic Monotheism. Hailed as the Bringer of Life, Eternal King, and Keeper of Good and Evil, even he has, if you believe the words of his followers, slaughtered entire worlds worth of sapeints.
@@techpriestemily Pretty sure the story is a direct reference to Yahweh or at least Abrahamic religions with both the symbolisms in the story as well as the characters tied to the story (the Gate Guardian, Cain, Able, Seth, Assem which is also called Adam) so you're probably on to something there.
the name of the city sounds like a sickness you would get in Florida or Hawaii
After going to an ihop there, with the locals trying to warn you “nooo you dont wanna go there”
DJKaktus out here casually creating bible-like lore and an amazing world
and now with Rounderhouse creating amazing lore around the Daevites, Mekhanites, Sarkics and the Abominate (who might have been either the ancient Sea peoples) the scp universe will keep expanding with great stories and lore!
"Oh yay, an SCP video to fall asleep to!"
*has intense dream about basketball players being mummified before death*
"Haha ok nevermind"
Reminds me of SCP-1733.
Trust me it's not a good idea, I dream weird stuff when I listen to an scp before sleep
After watching many other scp youtubers. I think this guy is the only one I like. Most just repeat the story verbatim, vs an actual explanation like an oral story is better for me while driving lol. Keep it up man. Luv this shit
The city itself actually makes me think of the Bonus Dungeons from the first two games, in the first .hack series. The Flying Giant and the Floating Ruins. Both can be seen in the various fields of the server they're in, both were lost when something infected them, and turned them against their makers, forcing them to send them into slumber.
I like this canon. It takes several iconic figures and entities from throughout the lore, and ties them all together into a cohesive history.
TES: "SCP-4840 - The Demon Lancelot and the Flying City of Audapaupadopolis"
My brain: "THE THIRD!"
I still love watching your videos. Its simply relaxing to listening to you go over these things
These are my favorite kind of scp’s. I love all of them mostly but these fantasy ones are the best in my opinion.

This has to be may favorite canon/series/whatever in the scp wiki; so pumped you set it up with 4812, I’ve been waiting for this one!
this has easily became my favorite scp . i dont know why really. its just a creation myth but maybe its just the way its represented and portrayed. it give insight to how the scp foundation predated itself for "it Is" and must exist as a knowledge seeker. maybe the founder of the scp foundation is Ascend. looking for his crown and his children so that he can put things as they should be.
got lost in thought there but how can you not with something as cool as Audaupadoplis .
