Hi! Thank you so much for watching all the way from Germany! It’s such a shame the salon is far, but I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Hopefully, you’ll get to experience a similar treatment one day! ❤️
@@bridgette_official I guess the only opportunity will be to one day visit this lovely Salon where you have been,I will tell them it is because of you that I visit there Salon.
Thank you for your comment! We actually do the bond treatment a week after the relaxer as a standalone treatment, rather than during the relaxer process. ( Check my Olaplex treatment video) This gives the hair time to recover and ensures that the treatment can work more effectively on the hair after it’s been relaxed. It’s all about providing that extra strength and nourishment during the recovery phase! I appreciate you bringing this up-everyone’s hair care journey is unique, and it’s great to hear your thoughts.😊
Thank you so much for your suggestion! I totally understand the desire for that sleek look, but it’s actually not ideal to flat iron hair right after a relaxer. The hair is more fragile right after the chemical process, and adding heat too soon can cause unnecessary damage or breakage. It’s always best to give the hair some time to recover and strengthen before applying direct heat.💞
Oh nooo! Not Dark and Lovely. You should use professional relaxers on your hair because they are formulated with precise chemical balances to effectively straighten hair while minimizing damage
Thank you for your input! I understand that professional relaxers are formulated differently, but I’ve found that Dark & Lovely works well for my hair. Plus, professional relaxers aren’t always easily accessible, so I prefer to bring my own kit to the salon since they don’t carry it. At the end of the day, it’s all about what suits your hair best, and for me, Dark & Lovely does the trick!❤️❤️
Sometimes, when applying a relaxer, having two stylists work together helps ensure the product is applied quickly and evenly, especially for thicker/longer hair or hair that has knots which I had after undoing the cornrows. This allows the hairstylists to control the process better and avoid over-processing, which can help keep the hair healthy. It’s all about receiving the best results while maintaining the integrity of the hair!
Thanks for your concern! I had just taken out cornrows, and my hair had a lot of knots, so having two stylists helped speed up the process and ensure the relaxer was applied evenly. It was done by experienced stylists.💖
Thank you for watching! 😊 This video is focused on the relaxer retouch process itself. I’ll be sharing some styling tips in future videos, so stay tuned!❤
I forgot to mention that the relaxer treatment cost me R470, excluding the relaxer kit.

Should have flat ironed it

Your hair looks beautiful, and you didn't do baby hair, thank goodness! 😅
Thank you so much! I’m glad you liked it-sometimes a sleek, natural look without the baby hairs just feels right!💗💗

I don't understand why it has to be done by 2 people

Oh my goodness why would she allow two people at the same time to put a relaxer in their hair!
Thanks for your concern! I had just taken out cornrows, and my hair had a lot of knots, so having two stylists helped speed up the process and ensure the relaxer was applied evenly. It was done by experienced stylists.💖
The hair has no style
