Just wondering the wall without a sink
would it be impossible to just knock
down and have the kitchen be open
with the living room and have an island
put in the middle so it gives you the
open concept you wanted? I know it
would cost more and more work but
just incase an idea adding the cabinets
from the wall getting knocked down to
the space with the island currently
against the wall would give you just as
much cabinets and the couch and
maybe be arranged in a way to have a
Tv in the living room. I know it's not as
easy as it sounds but just throwing out
ideas I'm sure it will be amazing
regardless! So excited for you guys!

Wishing you guys the best! I recently bought a home for the first time (alone) and after multiple offers and hopes lost I found one for me. In this market almost expect it to go for asking or over, at one point I had to offer over $50k but on the brighter side, houses are appraising for higher than expected. The home I ended up with appraised for more than I paid. You guys will find the one!

Y’all are cute. That house was beautiful. Word of advice, whatever house you get don’t plant palm trees, they’re pretty but there’s a reason they call them roach motel’s, they attract roaches, a lot of them.
We have them in our little back yard and I’ve never had that issue 👀 I mean like a palm leaf plant not like a whole tree hahaha
@@allisarose I have 3 palm trees in my backyard & have never had a roach issue 😅 Also grew up with a palm tree in our front lawn and never had a roach issue, but in arizona scorpions usually live in palm trees, but haven’t had an issue since like 2002.. we were INFESTED with scorpions😖
@@allisarose probably because you live up north. I grew up in Florida and that’s what we called them because palm trees provide the perfect environment for them.

This happened to our dyson all the time!! It turns out, you have to wait for the battery to be completely cool after vacuuming before putting it on the charger or it causes it to burn out quickly 😐

Galley kitchen are making a comeback also like ur dad said where the island is you totally can customize that as a prep area with a continuing counter that goes into a island where u could had another type burner/grill so u can cook for ur videos. So much potential love how living room and dining room are separate but yet have an opening that’s easy to access. You can decorate in different themes instead of it all having to match if it was all open plan. The back yard is great I know what u mean about palm trees there are great I have some I’m in south Texas by the beach but they attract roaches. And also can they survive where u at in ur winters cause here in Texas our last freeze killed so many. But that’s an easy fix you can always plant some and u can buy big ones already and plant them too.
Just an FYI those dyson batteries last maybe 2 years if you use the high suction feature on the vacuum. I had to replace mine.

You could also close off the nook area that has that island and add a door and make a it big pantry
I do hope you get THIS house, it feels right. One thing though, if you feel you don't absolutely NEED the extra basement space, keep the two car garage as is. Now here we don't get really bad weather but I imagine that at times you do, so it will be good to get out of the car and into the house under cover at those times.

Yes absolutely don’t settle! Even if you have a little doubt you’ll find your dream home. We’re on LI sold our starter in Lindenhurst and as soon as I walked into our home now I knew it was the one. We went further east tho to get way more house in Smithtown. The market is still crazy here on LI
Agree with the kitchen needing an island and not staying as a galley kitchen. I’m not a fan of galley kitchens either. Great home though! Love the pool.
When we were house hunting we’d put multiple offers on multiple homes in the same weekend lol it’s rough but don’t give up! Took us almost 6 months to get an offer accepted.
