IAF has nothing to be proud of. They still fly Mig-21 of 60's era, crashed CDS Bipin Rawat to death, misfired SAM to own helicopter, lacks commitment for Indian produced equipment, always whines about lacking tankers and awacs but never selected a platform to order, there is no urge to improve old air bases with hardened shelters near China borders.
