Edit: Please ignore the several times that I mentioned shuttle services between Randwick and Royal Randwick, I was meant to say between Circular Quay and Royal Randwick, my apologies! Thank you for all the immense support over 2023! Stay tuned for my BIG return in the first few days of next year with a new series OVERSEAS that you will LOVE! See you all then! :)
Exactly, at some points, only one person was doing little work, they were all wandering around on “phone calls” no wonder the tram was there for so long.
Hi Elliot 👋 there certainly have been a number of incidences lately on this beleaguered tram system and you are on the spot for this one. I am wondering if the points have been affected by the extreme heat over the last few weeks. You did a great job with this video Elliot, well done. MERRY CHRISTMAS Elliot 🎅 🎄 have a wonderful Christmas with your family and a very HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Great video as always. Sad that it's the last video of the year, but I guess that means I can look forward to next year's content. Merry Christmas and happy new year!!❤❤🎅🎄❄
Probably crap clogging the points with all the bad weather in the past week or two in Sydney. That being said, it is Transdev. Ask Melbourne bus passengers or T1 line passengers what they think of that mob.
@tsetstransport you're very welcome 👍 I am proud to support you and your channel and will do so for as long as I can. Have a great Christmas Elliot 🎄 😀
Not something that happens regularly in Melbourne... but it happens, it happens and we deal with it.. no big deal.. ... if only Sydney kept their trams, unlike Melbourne!!
My least favourite trams are these Alstom trams (the one that was involved in the derailment) they are insanely loud, jolly, derail heaps, dark inside, and just uncomfortable. If you watch the video I uploaded before this, I reviewed the new trams that they are rolling out on other lines, i think those would be my favourite as they are more efficient honestly.
This tram derailment was not caused by the fire truck that you saw at the beginning, that was just an example of the amount of derailments that there were. It’s quite obvious that the first video wasn’t the cause of this, because of the different background.
@@fredrickdavis5489 🤣🤣I'll say it again, this derailment was not caused by a fire truck, it was clearly mentioned that it was because of the junction, there wasn't even a fire truck there! How can YOU not see that!?
I’ve never seen a light rail derail but local freights on the southern highlands line derail all the time. I know one did breakdown quickly at circular quay
From what I think, there is no way for the trams to get around the derailed one. There is a turn-back track where the trams can turn around to continue back to the city but no crossovers I believe.
if you mean trackwork, they normally do that on weekends, the efficient thing though is that it’s hardly needed (apparently), I believe one of the causes of this was lack of maintenance with the track.
Not sure, there’s a chance that since the tram was a single unit, it could have come from the Dulwich Hill Line and was heading back to the main depot for the Urbos to take its spot on the L1, my other theory is that apparently they did some works on it and were doing some testing, I’m not entirely sure if that’s true though.
No? Fire fighters were not involved in this incident. That was just an example of the derailments that have occurred recently on the Sydney tram network.

sadly the tram broke the wheel, front and the accelerator of the tram
L2 ranwick is close betwen ranwick and the station before it
for like 2-3 days
LIke council workers, 2 men working and 6 "supervising".

Unfortunate circumstances, but Merry Christmas 🎄🎁🎄
Thanks you for sharing and happy Christmas 🎅🏼
they sent too many people to the accident site.
Mate you were right across that one. Nice work.
Merry Christmas
Imagine Getting Derailed on the Sydney Metro Under The Sydney Harbour!😟 Anyway Merry Christmas Mate.

Tset, I want to have a chat about the events that you been experiencing, I feel worried
What do you use for your channel banner?
Bit of a click bait title, but still good video
Why is it happening so often? They happen every now and then in Melbourne, but given the size of the network. Is there a design fault?
Quiz for you: who takes priority? Ambulance or tram?
@@k.vn.k I think Tram because it's harder for it to stop.

another win for melbourne
Not necessarily, Melbourne trams derail every month or two and Sydney trams derail every 6 months to a year or so.
While Canberra's Light Rail Has Accident's Nearly Every Week & Month 😂
Can't they just termpoorarily switch the tram to the right track? Just to go around the derailed tram. Or do they not have crossover tracks

Nobody really knew what to do, that's why it took so long
another kwalitee service from Transdev
Aussie trams always crash into stuff
at this point they crash at least once a year
Melbourne trams off the rails every 2 months or so 😂
@@JamesJackson.Bruh.
Exactly
@@JamesJackson. and an average of 3 car related incidents with trams per day!...
Hi
Oh my god
was anybody hurt
No, if you watch the full video there should be a section of me mentioning that the tram was an empty run. :)
thats the firefighters fault!

@@tsetstransport Btw OLSO The real reason is the firefighters crashed to the tram by accident
