    Hi Em and Stu,
My wife and I have been watching your vlogs for years. Your vlogs are definitely getting better. Nice editing, beautiful camera work from the ground and drone shots which are lovely and nice music. Your vlogs are informative, well researched and interesting and your presentation skills have come on leaps and bounds Em, very natural. We think you both do a really good job and make your vlogs good to watch and you both work well together. I have to smile sometimes when Stu is walking backwards filming Em while she’s talking and walking. I wonder how many times you have to practice that before you get it right. Anyway I’ll stop running on and just say, well done both, keep up your hard work and have fun making them. We’ll always be watching.
    Ian and Angie.

Thank you so much for such lovely feedback! We do sometimes watch our old videos back and feel we've definitely improved over the last 6 years so it's nice to know other people agree.. I've spent more time than I'd care to admit researching and learning the history of all the places we visit to try and make them interesting and Stu has done alot of practising with his camera work to make the presentation better, people often forget about how hard the camera man also has to work lol.
We do often have to do alot of re-takes but mainly because I forget what I was going to say and yes there was definitely a fair bit of tripping over during our Wales trip especially at the slate quarries! Anyway.. I'm so glad you enjoy watching our videos. There's plenty more to come and many more improvements we hope to make in the future 😊👍

Thanks, we'd love to get into a bit of caving in the future especially around the Derbyshire area, shame we don't really have many caves or mines around Norfolk 😕

We absolutely love exploring the old slate quarries, like you say they have a certain atmosphere and you can really feel the history all around you.. Fingers crossed one day we can work it out to get exploring down some of those tunnels and caverns 🤞😊

Another stunning location with more great footage and information. It was after watching one of your earlier vlogs that we visited the Dorothea Quarry whilst in North Wales last week. Keep up the good work folks.

Thanks Leigh, these old slate quarries are so fascinating especially Dorothea, we'd love to go back to that one again as there's was still plenty more for us to find. Thanks for watching 😊 👍

What a beautiful area with some fascinating history. I can imagine what the living conditions were like, poor people. It was a Welsh slate quarry like this that was used for location filming of 'The Five Doctors', the 20th Anniversary Doctor Who special in 1983

So many abandoned quarries around this area we really were spoilt for choice! Its sad to think so many people worked and lived in such poor and dangerous conditions around here..
Had to look up about the Doctor Who filming as it wasn't something I was aware of and yes you are right, they used a few locations around here to film.. I might have to give it a watch! 😊👍
