He meant it's a counterspell still left in the deck. Since the guy still had mad scientist out and he assumed he played two counterspells; and when the mad scientist was killed a counterspell would be played from the deck. Instead the guy only played 1 for some reason... and the scientist got nothing.
+mrmarioscatman Play my warlock deack, get fuegen killed, put stalagg on the board, then Kel'Thuzad then attack with stalagg then shadowflame stalagg and let the Thaddius's swarm the board :P
Todays someone played Feugen and Stalagg at the same time. I got Feugen down to 4 health and then Flamestriked. Guess what happened... 2 Thaddiuses Two of those fuckers. Seriously. That's bullshit.
When you kill them at the same time both their deathrattles are activated. If you want to stop a thaddius from showing up you kill one, then silence the other before killing it. Indeed it's B.S. though. Hearth stone can feel pay to win at times, but it's still an awesome free game.
Hearth Stoned It's far superior to MtG in the pay-to-win aspect. Wanna do well in MtG? You need to buy basically every cardset, and all the best ones for older formats.
HailtotheKiin Card games like that have always been P2W, what incentive would there be to get other cards if your current deck was better than everything else? But yes, Hearthstone is one of the least P2W card games out there. Also, I kinda think you deserved those Thaddius' for playing mage, nothing personal, but mage is the least fun hero to play against IMO, all they do is throw spells at you until they can flamestrike, then they slowly kill you with one or two medium strength minions. Even when you win it's not satisfying at all.
Idk man, most mages are either the frozen OTKvariety or mechmage varieties. Whenever I play mage I try for either a hardcore control deck (featuring Explosive Sheep) or Unstable Portal stuff.
HailtotheKiin One thing they really need to fix is the water elemental, I mean, a 3/6 for 4 is already great value, but now it has a freezing aspect? Water elemental is way too good. They should really up the cost to 5 mana.
+aku12222 yeah its 4, first when stalag dies rivendare procs its effect twice, so you have 2 thaddiuses normally, after that, when feugen dies rivendare doubles it's procs again and therefore for every stalagg effect that happened you get 2 thaddiuses so it's 4 :P
+Teal But that'll work ony in scenarios like this one, where both of them actually died on your oponnent's side. Then you get four, since both of them proc. If you'd do it without it, then it's just two, 'cause the first one won't proc.
+Demonic no, if you play a feugen, stalag, then play rivendare and both feugen and stalag die (no matter what order) you will get 4 thaddiuses, at least if hearthstone works like its suoposed to...
Feugen and Stalagg have really good stats IMO, and people are scared to kill them, still have to deal with them. With my Deathrattle shaman, I managed once to have 2 Thaddius on the board and 2 Stalagg ready to die a third time. It was awesome lol
Samsara Moriarty I've crushed a million poor control warriors with my deathrattle Shaman. That was when I was running Far Sight for the lols, too. It's probably the worst matchup in the game for that deck.
***** Not really, you still get 2 minions with good stats. Thaddius is just an icing on the cake. And if they waste silence on them that means your Sylvanas is gonna do a lot of work.
***** Yeah, but the reason I ruin control Warrior is because they don't have silence. The only card in their deck that gives them a chance is Sylvannas, and that's not enough when I can trigger my Sylvannas about four times. Biggest problem that deck has is that I had to cut a copy of Lightning Storm to fit some of the core cards in.
Yogg Saron Oh nice, really interesting. I've never used Far sight, not even once. What do you suppose is the best way to use it, when you have mana to spare, on really early in place of another 3 drop?
Amaz moans hard as Kripp gropes his smallish package. “Pepperoni” Kripp whispered into Amaz’s elvish ear, as they started making out. “Do…do I win?” Amaz says tentatively, as Kripp slowly tugs away his pants. “Your deck is crazy” Kripp says, as he flips Amaz on his back. “It’s lethal guys” Amaz says playfully, as he presents his Twisting Nether.•
+Jyun-Cyuan Chu and both of them has 5 unique letters in their name and their mana cost is 5 .. Stalaag = s,t,a,l,g = 5 letters Feugen = f,e,u,g,n = 5 letters
Proud to say that despite all the pressure and the hardship in the meta,I have always kept the lovely undead brothers in my Warrior deck since Naxxramas came out.And I understand Kripp's happiness when he wins the game with them.
"Yeah.... whoops." Don't know why, but for some reason that hit me just right tonight. I laughed out loud so hard that I hope my neighbours didn't hear, they'll think I'm a mass-murdering lunatic or something.
I had something like this happen last night, and it saved me from a game I was losing. My opponent played Feugen around turn 5. I couldn't believe my luck, because I had Stalagg in my hand. I just had to wait a few turns for Feign Death to be drawn. In the meantime I deal with Feugen as best I can, but my opponent gets a Mech-Bear-Cat and Yeti on the board, after a Keeper silences my Piloted Shredder. When I get to 7 mana, I play Stalagg and Feign Death. My opponent is visibly confused like in this video. The best part of all... instead of killing Thaddius, he kills Stalagg with the Yeti and plays Sludge belcher. So I have two 11/11's on the board, and my opponent is at 20 hp and 1 armor. I had iron beak owl in my hand. What a game!
I remember because UA-cam will never let me forget about Thaddius because it's recommending it literally every week of every month of every year for nearly the last decade.
9:40 "Oh it's probably counter spell again". Casts Swipe, counter spell doesn't go off "Yes it is". I don't even think that's the first time I've seen kripp do that, unless it was this same one I saw on stream once.
srsly can someone pause at 12:21 and show me that thingy that looks like a white eye or something, 20 min trying to pause at the right time or use screenshot to see that shit.
What if Greek special forces came into Kripps dojo and went into his basement and saw like 30 mangled bodies and he just sweet talked his way out of it and they pledged their allegiance to him and killed innocent civilians in the name of the almighty Kripparian.
I had quite a wonderful battle agaisnt paladin with those two cards. re-incarnate on feugan after stalag died, gave me feugan and thaddius. paladin then kills feugan, thaddius #2 comes out, and he uses equality, killing one thaddius. He thinks it's all solved, but then the last thaddius gets ancestral spirit and a faceless. Now I've got two thaddius who will respawn after death. Feels good.
I'm really far behind, but I used to have a warlock deck in the nax block that had them and void terrors. It was really hard to pull of consistantly, but you could power overwhelming each of them, hit face, and void terror in between them for the BIGGEST VOID TERROR EVER and double thaddius
I like to run Feugen and stalagg in my druid deck. If I have both of them on the board and I activate poison seeds the minions both die before their death rattle activates giving me 2 thaddiuses in 1 turn.
Jotto and his cockatrice play test team immediately called Undertaker as one of the top 3 Nax cards. I never understood how he was that overlooked in the first place
I completely forgot that Thaddius also activates if your opponent's guy died. Made for a funny moment though, I can't really blame the Mage for not knowing that.
My favourite thing when this first came out, (before G&G) was to play warlock with Fuegen and Stalagg. And eat both with the demon that eats the card on both sides, you get double thaddius. Coupled with kel'thuzard or Baron Rivendare... Flood with thaddius.
I got a double thaddius with baron rivendare today so satisfying triggered by an opponent late draw flame strike with 3 health on me and 6 cards left. I love this game, ,thank you dude I've learned so much watching these vids keep up the good work
as a counter if you silence the second of the pair it cancels the effect and will not summon thaddius it doesn't matter the order they are played in as long as the second one to die is silence. I'm not sure if that will stop baron rivendare from doing something silly anyway. Its a fun mechanic to play with, also leper gnome will do 4 damage with baron.
Daniel Newman The funny thing is, people even to this day still think that silencing the first one played will stop the combo entirely... People never learn :x
Try running fugen and stalag in a warlock and combing them with that card that destroys the ones next to it gaining their power (void something can't remember the name) and you get two thadius' and a 14/14 guy
I have played deathrattle mage for a long time and it's a really fun deck. I run thaddius combo too with Cairne and Sylvanas and a lot of secrets. It seems to work fine around rank 10 to 5 but it could probably reach farther if I had the will to grind.
havent yet played hearthstone but i played WoW for many years and it seemed that mages were generally favoured by the devs as a class on the whole, there were many times when they were the most powerful class in the game for both pve/raids and pvp, from what ive heard its a similar story in hearthstone. Mages seem to get alot of love compared to some other classes, i think alot of blizz employees rolled one as a main ;p
I have seen a good combo where someone used the druid card that kill it and brings it back to life. This resulted in him getting 2 Thaddius's. Even though he only used it on one of the cards? It took me a bit to figure out how he got a Thaddius with only one of them dying. I've read the card I just didn't realize the mechanics worked that way. I thought you were completing sets of two so if you opponent played one it dies then you play the other and he dies you'd get Thaddius.I don't see why that couldn't happen?
I'm incredibly confused by your comment, you are probably referring to the shaman card "Reincarnate" but to get two Thaddiuses he needs to have a Baron Rivendare up, or else it won't spawn two of them. If that's what you mean.
Its like this: The cardtext says, if stallag (or feugen ofc) dies this game you summon thaddius. Well if you reincarnate stallag OR feugen you get him back to life but his deathrattle triggers, (for example: if you reincarnate feugen he gets back and the deathrattle triggers, in the meantime that feugen is still alive but stallag dies after the reincarnate action it is in fact that feugen already died to reincarnate, if then feugen dies again it will summon thaddius again cause stallag died also..) That is probably the way you discribed it, if not pls don't hate :) I am trying to help ^^
recently I destroyed 3 thaddiusses on one turn by first purposely killing 2 feugans (which he got from reincarnate and that other card that makes a minion spawn itself when it dies) and then equality + concecrate the thaddiuses. Something like that always feels great.
I've been saying "read the card bro" in my head every time someone does something stupid in hearthstone for the last 2 years, now I know where I heard it from.
So it doesn't have to be your own Stalagg/Feugen to die to get Thaddius? Awesome -- just finished Naxx and have been playing around with the cards. (I still need a BGH -- might have to craft one.)
i ran a deathrattle shaman deck way back when and my record was 8 thadiuss'es on the board at the time, gotta love that baron, ancestral, and reincarnate. Lol
heh. these things happen. I remember losing to a mage who, through a duplication secret, ended with two Kel'thuzads, making them effectively unkillable.(I had no means to kill both of them at once)
I know this combo will never work against a competent player but it man did it feel good actually making it happen. I was playing a warlock that was running Thaddius so I was lucky enough to get both of em on the field against a shaman. Then I threw down Voidterror in between them, so I got a super void terrior and a thaddius on the same turn. The guy rage quit it was funny :).
Well,I don't know how much games I have to meet a Freeze Mage for it to be a common sight, from climbing in both EU and NA accounts to Rank 12,I've seen quite numerous amounts of Freeze/Tempo Mages
My opponent(warlock if i remember correctly) once had 11 health with fuegen dead earlier in the game and i MCT'd stalagg and cleared his board. He plays his turn out and facelessd my stalagg and kills my stalagg but he didnt know id get a thaddius and conceded before i could hit em
I'd say the big advantage of them, at least at the level I'm playing. Some people still don't get how they work. They'll silence the first one that gets tossed out, and kill the 2nd one.
While shaman does it better, I've had a few fun games with Feugen and Stalagg using duplicate and Faceless manipulator to get multiple Thadds. Not the most solid plan for mage lategame, but hella fun when you make it work.
I haven't played Hearthstone since August. It was really fun for a while, but it lost its luster somehow. Anyone else get that? I don't even like watching videos of it anymore. It used to be so cool to me.
It's because the deathrattle effect happens because of the second minion, not the first. People incorrectly silence the first minion played thinking that solves the problem. Unfortunately, the deathrattle of the second card to "die" is the only one that is relevant in terms of summoning Thaddius. I've had several opponents not realize this, and it is amusing. I only realized it myself after it happened the first time.
Pfff.. I once put a void terror between stalag and feugen while rivendare was on my board. 4 thaddiuses and a 14/11 void terror. THAT's a ridiculous game
Shaman combo with Baron Rivendare. You Reincarnate either Stalagg or Feugen, get two Thaddius, Ancestral Spirit and Reincarnate on a Thaddius and you got 4. Its pretty much Exodia, until you verse a pally who immediately Equality, Consecrates and you're fucked.
I just came to realize that in the same way that people say blah blah 7 Thaddius... Here's something funny, Getting out V-07-TR-0N, Gang Up... GG for a total of 7 of the strongest minion in game.
9:40 Oh, it's counterspell. ::Cast swipe successfully:: Yeah it's counterspell.
2legit4me
He meant it's a counterspell still left in the deck. 1. play rogue
2. gang up Stalagg and Feugen
3. get 7 Thaddiuses
4. watch your opponent cry
5.Watch your opponent Deathwing

11. Play big game hunter

Void terror between stalagg and feugen
Opponent uninstalls hearthstone
Jason Bi Twisting Nether time, btw Rivendare + Void terror = 4 Thaddius xD
+feodedark that would only spawn 2 Thaddius because everytime a Stallg and Fugen die it spawns 1 Thaddius so Rivendare would just make it 2

My favourite thing when this first came out, (before G&G) was to play warlock with Fuegen and Stalagg. And eat both with the demon that eats the card on both sides, you get double thaddius. Coupled with kel'thuzard or Baron Rivendare... Flood with thaddius.
I actually might start playing Fuegen just for its stat line.
I got a double thaddius with baron rivendare today so satisfying triggered by an opponent late draw flame strike with 3 health on me and 6 cards left. I love this game, ,thank you dude I've learned so much watching these vids keep up the good work

hex or polymorph either one will break the whole combo
Try running fugen and stalag in a warlock and combing them with that card that destroys the ones next to it gaining their power (void something can't remember the name) and you get two thadius' and a 14/14 guy
I have played deathrattle mage for a long time and it's a really fun deck. I run thaddius combo too with Cairne and Sylvanas and a lot of secrets. It seems to work fine around rank 10 to 5 but it could probably reach farther if I had the will to grind.
going to try and make a mage control deck using those 2 cards. It is great for those late games when you end up using all your cards.
That face:"Yeah,WHOOPS!",Amazing!
This is the golden kripp . Not the broken shadow who only play battleground
Kripparrian what about Hunter's Feign Death ? would it be possible to combo it ?
i stopped perfectly at 12:20 and i can told you its not eye! Its just white lighting black circle!
i was versing a mage and she got the 4-7 one down to 4 and used flame strike while the 7-4 was also out and it summoned 2 thaddius's
or kel thuzad with reincarnate on shaman
this whole stalagg/feugen combo must be good with the new shaman cards and some ol' forgotten wind fury minions.

Lol
Dude whats the music in the end of the video.. haha its cool ;)
This is the secret mage deck made by Sjow, it got me to rank 9 (which after I was scared to continue xD). It's a rather nifty deck like it a lot :)
You should try a shaman combo deck with Thaddius. It's great when you get out 3 Thaddius with a 2 Feugen still on the board.
wtf happened at 12:21?
heh. these things happen. I remember losing to a mage who, through a duplication secret, ended with two Kel'thuzads, making them effectively unkillable.(I had no means to kill both of them at once)
1. Play Baron Rivendare or something like that
2. Play Stallag and Feugen
3. Void Terror between stallag and feugen
4. Profit
Is a set date for GvG release set?
I know this combo will never work against a competent player but it man did it feel good actually making it happen. I was playing a warlock that was running Thaddius so I was lucky enough to get both of em on the field against a shaman. Then I threw down Voidterror in between them, so I got a super void terrior and a thaddius on the same turn. The guy rage quit it was funny :).
Missplay at 10:33
13:46 I was that Person i was Emote "thank you!".
I had games where I had 3-4 Thadds on the board, all the instaconcedes. :D
"Woops" hahaha almost chocked on my food
13:46 Lol you loved that xD
I laughed a little when he told the guy to read Feugen's card text.
Plays 3 secrets by turn 4, "Might actually be a mage secret." Kripp 2014
I still use this on my druid deck and with alot of succes.
"Rank Eleven is probably Freeze Mage"
In 2016 Rank 25-1 is Freeze Mage :/
Yes
Well,I don't know how much games I have to meet a Freeze Mage for it to be a common sight, from climbing in both EU and NA accounts to Rank 12,I've seen quite numerous amounts of Freeze/Tempo Mages
A freeze mage learnt today that it's not wise to doomsayer when both Feugen and Stalagg are on the board... mmm double helping of Thaddius please :)
kripp is europs arena harder than americas? I have that impresion. sorry for bad eng
How did he Gadgetzan Auctioneer and Starfire? That is 11 mana, I am confused.
With an innervate.
13:47 I'm dying...
I had a game where I killed a Stalagg with a buffed Earthshock AND IT STILL FUCKING SUMMONED THADDIUS.
i laughed so hard when i figured out that they work like that for the first time.
"Hello!"
"Whoops.."
"Yeeah."
Basically, Fuegen and Stalagg counter... Stalagg and Fuegen -_-
+Michael Ramstad Honestly just saving a silence or transforming one is a great counter. I run it in my hunter for a real late game
I thought of an amazing play. Baron Rivendare + Ancestral spirit on both of them. Wait, Never mind, That pretty much works on all cards.
What a fun match.
13:45 epic moment
2:57 skipperino kripperino
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah "Whoops" 13:46
I haven't played Hearthstone since August. It was really fun for a while, but it lost its luster somehow. Anyone else get that? I don't even like watching videos of it anymore. It used to be so cool to me.
2:58 to skiperino Kripperino
"read the card" best advice.
Anyone noticed that even if Stalagg or Feugen get silenced before killed it still summons Thaddius?
It's because the deathrattle effect happens because of the second minion, not the first. People incorrectly silence the first minion played thinking that solves the problem. Unfortunately, the deathrattle of the second card to "die" is the only one that is relevant in terms of summoning Thaddius. I've had several opponents not realize this, and it is amusing. I only realized it myself after it happened the first time.
ohiorushbaby
Very true, thanks for the answer.
10:40 just use ur hero spell with slime then do damage with dat golem ting
Pfff.. I once put a void terror between stalag and feugen while rivendare was on my board. 4 thaddiuses and a 14/11 void terror. THAT's a ridiculous game
Remember playing good games?
or JUST A FUCKING GAME wtf is with kids these days............ card games and dota rip offs.... funnnnnnnnn
***** You're*
Hearthstone is fucking amazing you stupid pleb. You could at least play it properly, get good at it and then you'd be addicted and stfu.
***** you're? HE SAID IT RIGHT READ 'you are facts straight' with that logic
TheRyuuseigun "I'm guessing your stupid" pretty sure she's in the right unless he was referring to some sort of stupid that she possesses.
Lol its pretty much exodia
Opponent got Feugen and Stalagg down. I was playing priest. Mass dispel-ed them, opponent conceded.
Holy shit I didn't know stalag feugen also Procs on opponent's as well
What if both you and your opponent have stalag and Feugen and gang up?
BOOM!!!
+Red Creeper Now We Will Pay !
I just came to realize that in the same way that people say blah blah 7 Thaddius...
Here's something funny, Getting out V-07-TR-0N, Gang Up... GG for a total of 7 of the strongest minion in game.
