Hello Alison, what happened. Is there something I should know?

    • @lison973
      @lison973 2 роки тому

@@opokuenockwhiteababio4648 it started with small things that I ignored at first relating to EGWs writing on Christmas. Then I became concerned about her comments on slavery. Then I read her comments in support of the apocryphal books. Because of support of such books I began reading about their origin, specifically the OT apocryphal books. I soon realized that she was right to support these books. But she also preached doctrine that wasn’t in line with it either. I finally totally rejected her when I learned of all her false prophecies that never came true. I had a pastor even tell me to stop using the Hebrew dictionary for clarity because it’s tainted but he himself used the same dictionary to clarify his points. It was heartbreaking and very depressing for me to see what I now perceive to be errors in the church doctrine. All of these concepts were foreign to me, or I was vehemently against until I studied for myself. I’ve actually created studies on a few of these topics especially regarding the state of the dead. It’s funny how no one could ever explain 1 Peter 3:18-22 to me. Or the concept of ghosts as discussed in Samuel. Or as Jesus mentioned “…who can kill the body and the soul…” Don’t read the tainted KJV. Read the Hebrew. Interpret word for word. Use a Hebrew dictionary it clarified the true meaning. Then you slowly begin to realize there’s an agenda to deceive. Im not a Shephard’s rod, or Hebrew Israelite or any of these other sabbath keeping sect but I’ve found elements of truth in some of their doctrines. Just as i still find element is truth in Adventism. We must serve in spirit and truth. Check out thisYT reference on tithing. Let me know your thoughts. I do not endorse all their material but I think this one is spot on.
      Is tithing for today?
      ua-cam.com/video/ju_9b3T2O94/v-deo.html
I’ve come up with a list of items embraced by the church that I find aren’t biblical.
      1. Soul Sleep
      2. Tithing practice
      3. Jesus is Michael the Archangel
      4. Christmas is okay
      5. Jewelry is wrong
      6. Hell is not active
      7. Ellen G. White a true prophetess of God
      8. The Sanctuary Message
      9. Trinity
      10. Sons of Seth are the Sons of God in Genesis 6
      11. Matthew 24 is talking about present time
      12. The Apocryphal Books are false
      13. Some are KJV Onliest
      14. Two Witnesses are the Old and New Testaments (The Bible)
      15. Prophet Samuel was a demon in 1 Samuel 28
      16. Precept upon precept
      17. Alcohol consumption for pleasure is wrong

    • @lison973

@@opokuenockwhiteababio4648 I’ve come to learn afterwards that several of these concerns were mentioned in the 70s and 80s though the author didn’t have all the material I have today he found enough evidence. The book is called “The white lie” I was so furious while reading the book I couldn’t finish reading it. It goes into depth about Mrs White’s Copy /Paste schemes. Its shows plagiarism parallels with up to 95% accuracy. It’s heartbreaking. Side by side texts! She copied from fictional books! People put their faith in her guidance. The white estate is aware of the extent of the schemes but refuses to recant. It’s all about money and her books they encourage everyone buy. Know that everyone isn’t always for you. Seek out if what I’m sharing is true. Your salvation may depend on it.

Transition from the old to the new: When you begin to accept the new wine (paradigm shift) of the gospel and the new wine of the Messianic identity of Jesus and the new wine of the Lordship of Jesus Christ then there's going to be a transition; it doesn't happen immediately it involves a process which mean it takes time!
So I need to be patient with my own personal walk!!!!
Praises that God is Merciful, Long-suffering, and Consistently Faithful

20:50 appreciate very much your presentation style: lots of movement, a sprinkling of words i have to search meaning for, very fresh insight of what scriptures record and teach, background issues not normally addressed. you are one consummate presenter. bless you for using your god-given teaching abilities to serve our creator.
my prayer is that all those who listen to you examine what you teach against what is written. the bereans did that to what they heard paul and silas taught. we all need that. good for our brain health, good for our spirit health.
it is good that you make videos of your teachings. this is a god-sent facility that has allowed me to prayerfully and thoughtfully listen and learn.

Full immersion baptism: One focal thought: Jesus I'm a sinner He's my Savior; the death that Jesus died was the death that I deserved; the burial He received was the burial that I deserved; His resurrection is my only Hope of a future resurrection!

Good message. Many truths in this message, but I do think though he should’ve highlighted some important Scriptural truths:
Jesus said, Go and “sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.” John 5:14.
It’s a dangerous thing to continue falling to the same sin, for there may come a time that you don’t have the choice to get back up, for the last fall could be exactly that...your last. If, by the grace of God, we have the opportunity to choose to get back up, well, Praise the Lord, indeed! But our hearts can become hardened and getting back up can and often times does actually becomes more difficult each time we fall.
I hope those who read this don’t think I am being critical of Brother Asscherick. I love listening to God speak through him. But, as human beings, we are fully capable of not always hitting the nail perfectly and directly on the head. Once again, many great truths in this message. It was a blessing to me on more than one level.

Hi fellow brethren😂🙋🏿‍♀️. I actually think it's great that he focused on the walk rather than sinning no more. Looking back on the Christian journey, especially when you are a baby Christian, there's huge guilt that comes when we fall down and sin...especially knowing the scripture. Guilt that is crippling that would sometimes lead me to not praying anymore. Such sermons as David has presented helps one get back up and start again.
I definitely do not think you are criticizing and I see your point beloved. Just looking at this from a beginner Christian point of view.

@peeriesenior Hey Bro - whats the point? Hes not hiding anything. NWO stuff is freely spoken of by many Seventh Day Adventist Pastors. Thats the one thing that attracted me - a former gun toting patriot. Thjis church didnt look down on me, and in fact they listened to my experience about the NWO. But here is the thing. That isnt helping anyone. We need to bring the Gospel to people and to teach people how to walk in Christ - THAT is all that matters in life.

But such is the nature of the church - personal beliefs mixed with the hard truth. That's why it's important to study God's holy word daily. That way we gain better knowledge and understanding of his word. Most of all we build a strong spiritual connection with him when prayerfully read the word. Not to be "right" in or own eyes, but upright in His.
Please don't think I put E.G White before God, that is not the case. However, I *do* and *will* support her writings.

BUT David. I agree with most of what you say, BUT according to 2 Timothy 2:21 "If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctifiED, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work." We must be sanctifiED in order to do the Lord's work. Sanctification is the work of a lifetime BUT we are SANCTIFIED every step of the way. When the Lord convicts us that we are to keep the sabbath holy and we do, we are sanctified. When the man cuts the board too short it depends on his reaction as to whether or not he must come to the foot of the cross. If that man gets angry, which Jesus said is the same as murder then he must bow at the foot of the cross. The sin is in the mind not the action. Before we sin we are tempted, and like Jesus, who was tempted in all points like we are, we need to follow His example of overcoming that temptation then we are walking in sanctification and are sanctifiED.

These were initiated by Sunday keeping religions. I think that's what you're referring to - days that you're forced to keep by order of law instead of the freedom of choice. When have Adventists ever tried to control commerce?

Why do people think they know when Christ is going to return. He said it is not for us to know the times and dates of the father. The father plans and sets those days and that certain time. Christ and the third person of the God head does not even know that day. Why would anyone else know it? God holds back some of the wisdom for himself and reveals only in part of the full thing of it. In I Corinthians 13 its says Love and Face to Face. Love is how we see the father. If we do not love we will not see the father. God is Love. Love makes us like his son Jesus.

The church Seventh Day Adventists is a Christian denomination. It isn't presented as anything except what it is, the study of the Bible (Old and New Testament) in it's entirety, Jesus Christ is the Savior of humanity, and acceptance of that message through baptism.
Ellen White's writings are referential, and not the message. She illustrated and shared the gospel of Christ much like John the Baptist.
