@@flaking305I've recruited 5 star athlete run stoppers that came in with 95 speed. They also tend to be 6'0-6'3, 230-250. Absolute monster as the Cheetah in 4-2-5.
Was going to make this same comment. I thought run safeties were worthless too until I started a new dynasty with a 4-2-5. My run support safety in this system is usually conference/national defensive player of the week
Run support safety’s get best tackling abilities in the game and can get good coverage and speed at times. They are the only ones I’ve seen be complete players at that position
If you got a power rush OLB with HOF quickstep DONT MOVE TO DE IN POSITION change. It will change the abilities. Still power rusher as a DE but power rush DE don’t get quick jump. You can play OLB at DE though. And they’re elite.
I got a 5 star ATH MLB in year one of my online dynasty. He's in his third year as starter and he was an 85 with platinum wrap up as a true freshman with 93 speed at 6-3, 220. Two-time DB of the year. Up to a 93 overall with all the physical badges. My man gets sacks, interceptions, TFLs, and forces fumbles. Best player I've had in this game by a bit.
OLB Power Rusher, I had numerous amounts of Power Rusher develop pass coverage skills, were the high? They always get into the high 70s or low 80s. Which is serviceable imo.
For the Slot Corner try taking a Physical WR Athlete and switching them to corner. They can have higher speed and better hands than the standard Slot Corner, but still develop Man and Zone skills . Some of the best players I've had on my teams
I’ve had pretty good experience with zone corners! One thing I will say about man corners is that a lot of zone coverage has man responsibilities when you run match coverage so it works out
A lot of people don’t know this but if you edit a player in season and change their position to CB, they always turn into a slot corner. I do this with all my zone corners now so they get a good zone base, and work on thier man coverage to be more well rounded.
I run a 4-2-5 big nickel and the run support safety is perfect for my Rover position. Only issue is trying to move to another package cause the Rover is SS1 in the depth chart. They need to fix formation subs in 26.
I high key hate the new updates effect in gems and busts. I’ve gotten so many recruits lately who weren’t a bust and they come in with trash stats and high skill caps. Feel like when the game first came out they were busts but it even happens with gem players. Lowkey: Hybrid Safeties & Slot CBs have the same important attributes (same 10 ratings showed for both recruits just in different order IYKYK) I plan on testing this in my Marshall dynasty but IN THEORY: Recruit hybrid safety, redshirt and move them to Slot CB so theyll actually develop then IF he’s a DOG make them #1 on the FS/SS Depth Chart while keeping them as a Slot CB. If it works it’d be the best of both worlds. High attributes out of HS, Slot CB fast development so they can get drafted but play them at Safety a position of need…
Slot corner is GOAT... I have 7 slot corners every single one is 80 and above (2 seniors, 1 jr, 2 sophs, 2 red shirt froshies) with 95 plus speed. Decent hands, great speed, FILTHY man and change of direction, press at 99, only press beater WRs get off my corners in press man. Allows more blitzing for me, and a slot corner with elite quick jump and 99 speed on a blitz, naaaaaah bro. Sacks on sacks. 3-3 tite D.

Run support safeties develop better in 4-2-5 or 3-3-5 schemes as SS 2 on depth chart. The ones who develop their zone coverage can move to SS 1.
I personally run the 3-3-5 and put my run support safeties at SS and zone safeties at FS

If you get a 6’3 zone corner move him to free saftey
True unless you play the 3-3-5 then keep them at corner for cover 3 and they are like Richard Sherman.

there is potential for the slot CB to have 99 speed. i pulled a 5* gem with 99 speed straight out of HS

Test it out in practice mode bro. Adjust ur depth chart accordingly in there, then change it for good in the dynasty hub
