My daughters love this stick. From the factory, it has the softest pocket of any stick I have worked with. That alone may give your daughter a new confidence in her ability to catch and cradle and makes it a great stick for a player who seems to be second guessing her catching. "pop out" on catches has disappeared for my youngest daughter completely. If there is a common critique of this stick, it is that it potentially holds the ball too well. The sticks I have worked with from the factory tend to really grip and have a lot of whip this is great for my eldest daughter' who's shot speed has increased a jaw dropping 15 mph. If your player does not like how grippy it is and is driving shots and passes into the ground, try loosening the lower shooting string so that it relaxes the sweet spot. You might find that relaxing the top shooting string helps as well but don't do it as much as the lower.
Start by tightening the leathers if your pocket is not legal. Pull on them from the bottom of the head then retie them a bit tighter. If the pocket is still not legal, you can use use fingers to remove slack in the sidewall mesh working from the pocket down to the throat. Again retie after working some of the slack out.
Bought this stick for my daughter. Every pass ended up at people's feet. I had another girl on her team try it and had the same result. What strings did you tighten? I tightened up the strings on the side a bit but had the same results.
In my opinion, the factory stringing for most players will have too much whip and drive shots/passes into the ground. To adjust this, you want to relax or loosen the upper and particularly lower shooting strings. This will make the distinct pocket a little more relaxed (banana like rather than apple like) and your player should find that the ball comes out more easily. I would only look to tighten the leathers or outside mesh strings in the even that the pocket became illegal.

How would you compare this to the whip head? Which do you like better/prefer?
I’m curious, how did you tighten the flexmesh? I looked at a stick and I am not sure how to do it easily. Any advice would be appreciated thanks!

Can you review the Gait Whip sometimes soon, my daughter is looking for a new stick and she plays attack
Nevermind I found the Whip review that you put up. Thanks again
What is the stiffness like? How does it compare to STX, Stringing, or Under armour ?
