Omg, you know, I thought the exact same thing a few days ago while reading the manga. Mahiru is definitely Kuro's sunshine, but Mahiru also needs Kuro, Kuro is the moon that lights up Mahiru's night. The two are soulmates ❤️
kuro and mahiru are like yin and yang. they need each other, kuro means dark/black in japanese while shiro (from hes last name shirota) means white I LOVE THEIR DYNAMIC SO MUCH
