I was the opposite. I’m autistic and never wanted my ears pierced and my mother forced me because in her opinion girls should have their ears pierced. When I became an adult I let my ears close up. She was so mad 😂 it’s kinda ironic how the grandmother is kind but her daughter is strict and mean lol 😂 “that’s not the way I raised you” haha 😂

@@Yung_alcoholic sensory issues. the same thing happened to me when i was little. got my ears pierced against my will, sobbed and screamed, and let them close up. i got them done again when i was 7 by my choice.

I’m getting my double piercing done this week I’m pretty sure if not next week and I’m so excited
I got the first set done as a toddler and the second set done at 16. But when I wanted more piercings and tattoos the response was "not under my roof" so when I moved out I got 5 piercings in 6 months and started on the tattoos. My kids will be allowed to get piercings when they can take care of them and have informed consent.
My mom allows me to do anything. Like if if i want i can dye my hair, or do piercings. (obviously not like stomach or smth). thats why i went and got 3 lol. But its not like she doesnt care, she does, but thats not even bad to get ur ears pierced, just like nothing extreme. :)
and what i said about the stomach part, i cant just because im very young but its not like i want to anyway)

In my opinion it’s not strict to not let your kids get a 2nd piercing because your ear could get infected. But if you’re 15 it’s super strict. I got my second piercing at eight
But the thing is that some people don’t even want to get a double piercing.

Nearly all of my friends had their ears pierced when they were like 3 years old… I’m nearly in 6th grade and I don’t have my ears pierced yet. It’s not because I’m scared it’s because I just don’t want to. I feel like young kids don’t get a choice to get their ears pierced at a young age I feel like parent force them when they are little. My parent do not care when or if I don’t get my ears pierced which I love. They say I just have to ask if I want to.

I have a little story too lol, Basically When I was 5 I got my ears pierced in Claire's, and I'm very allergic to gold my skin reacts very weirdly to it and after they pierced my ears my parents and I Would clean them every day like we were supposed to but they got infected in every time we clean them. So I had to get them pulled out of my ears. I'm now in middle school and I ended up getting Double piercings at a tattoo shop last year ! Idk why i Decided to share that story but yeah :)

At 16 when my boyfriend and I were at the mall he paid for my 2nd piercing. I managed too hide it for 2 weeks. At the dinner table she said"Let me see your ears!"
