Join me as I build the Iconic Subaru Impreza WRC Monte Carlo 2007 RC car.
I put this on the TT-02R chassis and the end result is very impressive.

Hope you liked this video, please leave a like and subscribe, I mean why not, it’s free and really helps the channel.
Awesome video my man very impressive build nice motor/esc combo great job thumbs up 👍
Cheers @MRBRUSHLESS just had confirmation that The UPS claim I put in for the lost Go-pro hero 10 has been approved so hopefully get some running footage soon.
nice kit and build
Cheers @Island RC -Duke. Have a Hotshot waiting to be built. May be that next or the Thundershot.
Classic Scooby Doo …. that looks proper mint . Great build 👍👌👍
Cheers I hope to get it out ASAP but the weather is awful ATM. Thanks for tuning in Claire.
Nice rc new car congrats
Thanks it really is a stunner. Welcome to the channel.
Loved watching you build your TT02R. Glad I got one before they sold out! I'm accumulating parts for a TT02 Porsche 911 Carrera RSR build! Looking forward to putting together my first build video! Keep it coming man! top notch content!
Ohhhhh Porsche sounds great. Yerhh the type r is hard to get hold of atm. I really want the type a. The front suspension looks so much better. The standard tt02 and type r always seems to have really bad front end when I build them. May get the tt02b in new year. What colour you doing your Porsche.?
Nice work, looking really good 👍🏻
Cheers very happy with this RC. I want to start a collection of Subaru and Impreza's. Thanks for tuning in @Bradypat RC
@@FullOnRC nice choice to start a collection. I must run my original TA03F I picked up cheap and do a video. 👍🏻
@@BradypatRC that would be cool. I'm building another subaru on a ta02.
@@FullOnRC awesome look forward to seeing that 👍🏻
Awesome car great body choice
Yerhh I want to build a
Tamiya Subaru Impreza Monte-Carlo 99 on a TA02 chassis. The bodyset and wheels and tyres comes to £93.38. I can buy the whole TT-02 kit for £125.00, take the body and wheels out and sell the parts of The TT-02 on. Just pondering on it as we speak.
@@FullOnRC I think I'm gone to get this kit to build i have been looking for a older dodge challenger body to make a replica of the challenger my dad had and in his memory
@@williamthompson82 That sounds really cool. What colour was it?
@@FullOnRC it was a 72 340 v8 red and black interior
@@FullOnRC I was to young to remember it but I have every picture he ever took of it
Nice 👍
Cheers @J' Speed rc.
Nice one Paul really good build looks great with the blue alloy upgrades looking forward to your next build .👍👍👍
Cheers @craig roberts Just waiting for parts for the next builds, I need to improve my multi tasking skills and time managment LOL
Nice work well done looks good 👍
Cheers @C.K. hobbyshop now I really want more of this iconic rally car.
Great video mate.
What pinion did you install?
The stock one, I forget what size it is sorry.
Great build video and love the tt02 kits, I've got basically the same setup using the SR model an 99 impreza shell with same electronics on 2s running 26/66 gearing and its a right hoot to drive. You will definitely have fun and can't wait to see some drive videos 👍🏻
Yerhhh it's a good esc combo. Just waiting for new Go-pro's then will get out and run a few. Want a 99 SWubaru on a Ta-02 next, Thanks for tuning in.
Hi Paul First of all great build video
I got a tt02 r kit yet to build. Can you please tell me which spur and pinion gear combo would suit best with a hobbywing justock 13.5T brushless motor
I would say stock will be fine, not sure if speed gearing would be ok because I always run brushless.
Thanks Paul I will try the stock setup
Ah it seems my original comment deleted itself
I hope those wheels you wanted in soon, I remember you mentioning them over on Reddit a while ago (I'm KillerSpectre21) :)
Looking forward to seeing it rip around
Hey @Aaron Foster . Cheers for joining the channel, It is good to see you here. I did find the wheels. Here is a link. instagram.com/p/CU5TdD6sFGB/
I would paint them to get the right colour but since this is going to be a runner when my new Go-pro's finally come in the post. Cheers for checking out the Vid.
@@FullOnRC Oh yea they do look better with the chunkier spokes. It's probably a waste painting them since they'll just get scuffed up but looking forward to some action shots with that GoPro, nifty little things to have :D
@@kspectre21 A comment or two was held for review I dont know why. I had been using go-pro hero 7's which are 4k. I got 2 go-pro hero 10's which are 5k at 60fps. Do 4k at 120 FPS so will get good to see how they work out.
In your opinion are the diff hop ups to metal gears a good idea or not?
Not really necessary IMO
Thanks Paul and also do you use lock tite on the metal to metal components like spur gear assembly.
I really like your videos this one spurred me on to buy one myself.
Thank you again
@@peakstrad Thanks Pal. Regarding Loctite. Generally you use it but make sure it is the weak stuff, and you only need a drop of the stuff. I used Loctite on bigger rigs like the Arrma's etc and on my racing buggies. It is always good to have but removing things that have it on can be a challenge. Cross head screws with Loctite I would be careful.
That’s interesting Paul. Helpful advice. Thank you
