- Hi there! I'm very excited to finally show you my newest original composition, "Anima Aeterna". I've worked very hard on this one. As usual, everything that you hear was created by me. I've spent a lot of time making sure that the lyrics in Latin are correct, a lot of time trying to express myself as best as I can. It may not be perfect, but at least I'm giving you a part of my soul! I poured everything that I had into this song, I recorded it all by myself and I hope you'll enjoy it too. If you want, you may use it for personal projects, but it is not for commercial use.
The main idea of the song is that we're all mortals on Earth, but our souls are eternal. We must never let our inner light die. We must not fear death because when our physical bodies give up, our souls return to the stars. My general belief is that our souls are immortal. I've always been passionate about the unknown. I feel like I'm so much more than my physical body. I never feared death, I always saw it as a journey back home and it has nothing to do with religion. This is just my perception of life, I'm not trying to influence anyone!

Great song about eternal soul. Andra, this self written masterpiece beautifully performed by you. I assume based upon sacred aria 18th century baroque style. How similar is Old Latin comparing to the Romanian language nowadays ?
Thank you for the kind words! I can't really say. There are many words in Romanian that are very close to Latin, but I would have to look into it more because my Latin knowledge isn't that advanced. I just know the basic stuff. I wish I knew more!

Haha, thank you! I wish I knew more about Latin. My brain was on fire while working on the lyrics. Even though I don't remember much from the Latin lessons that we had in middle school, I love the language.
I fully understand. The language is beautiful but also a real pain in the ass to be frank.
Your work deserves a hundreds of times that number of views than it gets. The music business is so hard to build substantial momentum in. I see that with so many truly wonderful bands and artists, that just can't get noticed by enough people.

I’ve just been at least two hours without an Andra track. I’m suffering withdrawal symptoms. Let’s try an original composition. I’m just blown away. IN LATIN. Had to watch it three times. Thanks for the subtitles. First time to concentrate on translation. Second and third just to enjoy it. In Andra we have a Floor and Tuomas combined!! Floor could not compose ( at lease not to Tuomas standards) and Tuomas could not sing ( at least to Floor standards) Absolutely brilliant. Thank you.

@@AndraAriadna that is absolutely stupid. You must have ‘copyright in yourself’ and if you are happy with the content that should be enough. And if anyone sees anything wrong or improper in your images as a kid, in the context and content of your video, it is them who are sick in the head. Your video is one of the most moving and sincere I have ever seen. You can rightly be very proud of it, for the sentiment behind it, for the quality and imagination of both the video and the song. It is insane both that there are so few views but also that a viewer is denied the opportunity to post a comment of congratulations and appreciation. Româna are drept strămoș latina (Nu singurul strămoș, este drept.). Totuși, cred că ar fi interesant dacă ai cânta ceva în greacă veche (antică și medievală), dar în pronunție reuhliniană. Greaca depășește în veleități spirituale, mistice, dar și filosofice latina cu mult.
