We do! But we do not have screen time of any kind. Our only tvs are in craig and i’s bedroom and our basement but are never on when he is awake!

Hi! I just watched your video and I’m wondering why you keep Azariah so busy and have him going to “stations” all day long? That has to be absolutely exhausting for both of you! We raised 3 kids and now we have a granddaughter, who’s 3. When she comes to visit we cuddle, color, and play play dough among other things. We also give her “down” time so she doesn’t get overstimulated. Please don’t think I’m judging or mom shaming, I’m just very curious! Btw Azariah is a doll baby… so precious! 💙

How do you encourage independent play? My girl just turned 1 and if I leave the room she always follows me and pulls my leg to get me to come play with her. She doesn’t really like to play on her own. How do I start to foster that?
Azariah did this with me too! Honestly I really just soaked it in most of the time because I knew it wouldn’t last forever. But a couple things you can do is give her open ended tots like blocks or duplos that keep attention longer. Or give her a basket with items she’s never explored before and don’t interrupt the entire time she’s exploring. She will get better at it the more you do it and the more her creativity expands! I also invited Azariah to do a lot with me at that age and especially now because it teaches them practical ways to help or to learn new skills
I named my son Azariah as well.
