@@The-tree-guy129I have a different theory (but I think securing the labyrinth in this case means stopping Kronos from leaving, as laby might be a gateway between siege and normal realms, like nexus

i feel like it’s important to note that laby shapes (current ones) weren’t always in normal modes. Also noting that dreads have re-entered normal modes conveniently as hexa dreads were added. One more recent thing I noticed was the new level requirement for entering labyrinth. So across shapes, dreads, and regular tanks, I get the impression that nexus was made to connect labyrinth to normal modes, and not the other way around. these are just my observations
After a further analysis of other game modes, one completely sticks out, Old Dreadnoughts. In Old Dreadnoughts or, “dv1,” there are stronger dreads and old shapes, pretty obvious, right? Old Dreadnoughts as a gamemode remains unique due to it being un-affected by new shapes and other changes to the game. If you would notice however, old dreadnoughts has experienced major changes that seem to bridge the gap between the old and the new dreadnoughts gamemodes. One very obvious shift is how while old dreadnoughts used to be extremely powerful, with just a handful being able to take on an entire team of GROWTH players. And despite this, every update the old dreadnoughts seem to get weaker and closer to the strength of a new dreadnought. The old dreadnoughts had a major difference that let anyone know what version of dreads you were playing, and that is the design of the portals. There used to be a spiked portal to teleport you from tdm to laby, and a modern-ish looking portal that brought you to forge. All three of those used to be in one server, however now the modern portal system from new dreadnoughts/nexus has completely overtaken the old one, and forge, tdm, and maze were split into three separate modes just like nexus does. Oh but the shapes make this a whole lot more interesting. The old dreadnoughts gamemode has regular shapes that go up to pentagon, and also larger shapes that don’t appear in labyrinth, which are the hexagon, spetagon, octagon, and nonagon. Now before I get into this part, I must note that “rare” shapes in the old labyrinth (shiny and above) used to be much larger, however seem to have gotten smaller and weaker in recent times. Anyways, I am only going to focus on the hexagon, because it happens to be the shape of all old dreadnoughts. Interestingly as the old dreads got weaker, a hexagon dread was added to dv2 with the EXACT same tank hybrid mechanics that their old dreadnought counterparts share (half one dread, half another) This is interesting, since the hexagon was the only shape ported from dv1 to the new shapes, and the 7 sided+ shapes were completely forgotten about. On another hand, for a VERY brief period of time respawning in old dreads would respawn you in NEXUS for that region. These uncanny similarities lead me to believe that something is pushing the old dreadnoughts to become weaker, and the new dreadnoughts to become stronger, suggesting a potential motive to destroy old dreadnoughts once they are weak enough, using the new dreadnoughts a makeshift army. I can also add that old laby and forge is one of the only mode bosses simply do not spawn in (excluding sandbox), which by branching off of that I can also theorize the possibility that one of the bosses of arras.io are trying to connect new dreads and nexus to old dreads, acting as sort of a tunnel for bosses to leak into the modes. This could also explain why it would want dreads weaker, so the bosses and maybe itself will be able to hold the mode and not be forced out. I conclude in short that there could be a powerful being in arras which has lost control over old dreadnoughts, or maybe even was a powerful dreadnought itself, trying to regain control over the mode or even destroy it as a whole through the use of new dreadnoughts and the nexus.
@@芓Very detailed theory, good job! Although I don’t think they’re exactly connected, as there is no connection between new and old dreads through any means of travel. I do like your idea of connecting them tho

I have 2 theories of what the 2nd speaker could be. The dreads themselves, or the rogues. 1. the rogues. Sure in normal modes they turn against the players, but in siege, they seem to fight with them. This could mean that the rouges dont want Kronos to gain more power, so the rogues start to fight him. They used to be on his side, but later grew suspicion how he created the forge. Then the rouges fought Kronos. THEY HAVE GONE ROGUE. 2. The dreadnoughts. They have great power, but there probably isn't a dreadnoughts leader or some sorts, or they made one speech all together. Kronos created the dreadnoughts, but the dreadnoughts later realised they may just be slaves when Kronos wins the war. They turned sides, and defeated Kronos. This timeline will merge both theories into one big chunk of lore Timeline: Kronos, wishing for control over the normal modes and attempting to drive tanks to extinction, creates a forge to make the dreadnoughts, to weaken the players, and to prepare for the big invasion, alongside the dreadnoughts. He creates the labyrinth, to bait players into it without expecting. Kronos arrives in the labyrinth. The rogues, little armies banded by Kronos, gain suspicion and enter the forge by a portal in one of the gamemodes. The rogues have gone rogue. Later on, the dreadnoughts side with the rogues and players to defeat Kronos, and save arras.io from pure tyranny. I might do siege lore later. EXTRA EVIDENCE: You know how for some times there was the yellow circle that launched players out? It could prove either 2 things: A portal that Kronos created to invade that arena and claim it for himself, or that is a portal leading to forge, for the tanks Kronos selected to become the new dreadnoughts. That is why when you touch it, you get yeeted out because the portal realised you not one of them, and denies acces.
If this was real, then kronos was straight out STUPID, bro did dreadnoughts, and did not even added layers, like celestials or terrestrials, if it happened he added the layers to the dreadnoughts, the theory would've changed course, with kronos being instantly defeated by his creations, it's just my theory tho
maybe he wanted to appeal to the players with something they're familiar with? they might not trust it if they looked like bosses too much, especially the layers
@@gotterdammerungarrasio well you're somewhat right tho, 2 layers maximum on a dread (especially hexadreads) would've made the players right on team on the dreadnought
So if Kronos created dreadnoughts, And then they turned against him So surely Kronos would want to somehow get rid of his creations for betraying him Same with players, We hate dreadnoughts being in normal modes terrorising us,so meaby dreadnought v3 will be helping Kronos to undo his mistake that he made It's just a theory

why healers were deleted in old dreads.. shouldn't dreads rule that gamemode?
