Amazing stuff, always fascinating esp the ultra fine work, the electronic wizardry and such huge capacity on something so small.

It depends on the size of the chip. This case was clean 64GB so it took about 4 hours to read and correct, then the mix was almost instant access. But some chips data are degraded, can take days if not weeks sometimes

Great work once again! An easy one for a change. Hilarious to see a Salvage Data ad show up before this vid with everyone in tyvek suits while on this channel he wears everyday clothes and is beyond capable. LOL

another great video, thank you for sharing your process. the 64gb and 32gb variants being made of the same parts is intriguing, would some kind of firmware flash allow you to regain the fused-off 32gb?

Yes, there probably is a way to expand these with controller utility. It's based on SM2702 controller. Maybe we can try to expand it if the client let's me keep the card.

Have you tried inserting card in the reader and bending it the other way? it worked for my usb stick.

this is a BGA chip, flexing it would not work, but develop more issues. If you saw the previous episode on the CFexpress card, I used grip clap to hold the chip down for temp connection and it worked :). Colleagues of mine have used similar clamps on this Lexar type of card and got complete recovery out :) but you need to split the case and have interface wired

How can I know form just looking that pads are ripped off? Otherwise, a simple reflow might do the job.
One more question, If I do not have PC3000, could I just transfer the chips to the donor card and read data as a regular SD drive ?

Swap to the same card on this specific case is a valid method.
